I already know how the story goes, and this askblog is primarily about gaining an extended understanding of the world, and the characters' perspectives. If a character doesn't know something about the plot that you do, don't tell them! It's a secret between us. Steven, Roxanne, and Dr. Steele in particular aren't answering from the present day in the comic, and their answers come from the last point in the comic we saw them. I also don't accept magic anons or kink asks under any circumstances. And if a character does something to personally upset you, take a step back before writing your post -- they act like real people, but they are not! However, I am a real person, so please remember that this is all fun here, and all character arcs are also relegated to the actual comic. Same point as "I already know how the story goes".

Well, Myu, it's actually completely possible for you to stumble across something during this otherwise-peaceful outing: And we can use math to figure out what the chance of it is! Considering you're a Mew (very rare) and an Atticus (very rare), the amount of main character energy you radiate makes improbable events at least 91.8% more likely, in accordance with Cunningham's Law.

Do you daydream a lot before you write, or go for it as soon as the ideas strike?

oh man. so much. for me, the daydream is the idea. i have to have a concrete feeling and direction before i can even do anything. i'm very paralyzed that way. if i can't envision where something is going to go, i can't even write. don't get me wrong. when it comes to The Stars Shine Bright, there are still times when i have to sit down and try to bang something out, but if i don't know where i'm headed, i end up with a more painful experience

11. Do you write scenes in order, or do you jump around?

i haveeeee to write in order or i will die. i'll just die. i need the context of the previous scenes in order to get anything done. very rarely the phenomenon from #1 will lead me to create a scene out of context during a very strong moment of emotions, but also rarely do those actually end up in any final product, so i've got a text document full of contextless lines of dialogue. you could say those were useful for something. in a roundabout way.

As of right now, Myu is like "WOW THIS IS INCREDIBLE!", while Atticus is more like "F- this damn lake, f- that damn rock and f- my damn life, man...".

Myu: That's because it is incredible!

Atticus: It's always something. It's never just, "Let's have a chill day!". There's always gotta be some mortal peril...

Now that the immediate danger has passed, I'd like to suggest that Myu and Atticus should try gravity training to avoid a situation like this in the future.

I once heard of this guy who gradually trained in increments of ten times Earth's normal gravity, up to one hundred times normal gravity. Ended up becoming ridiculously powerful once all was said and done.

Myu: Do you think that could be relevant later? It doesn't do us much good now, and it's impossible to know what other infinite scenarios exist.

Oh, Myu, perhaps if you were to transform into something like Abra, then teleport away.. it would leave Atticus to die, but that's statistically his problem and not yours. Or you could teleport him with you. But that seems a bit outlandish.
