"why aren't true crime creators anti police?" Do you think "true crime creators" enjoy the idea of truth? Or do you think they jerk off thinking about the next big hit piece they're gonna post about a murdered child with 15 ads and 4 sponsors while talking about it like it's a tv show analysis?

Not even gonna go into all of the dehumanizing ways they censor words like rape, murder, child sexual assault, grooming, violence, abuse ect. but something that was always so jarringly obvious to me was even if the algorithm "muted" their videos for these words or demonetized their channel, why would they care?

If you think something is so important that you have to make videos about it, why would you care if it doesn't make you money? You turn gruesome, horrific events into a spectacle so your stupid audience can clap and cheer like a child at a clown and then you're all shocked that no one takes you seriously?

You put spooky music over a video where you're talking about a child being groomed, abducted, violated and murdered and you censor yourself to the point where you're making a mockery of a child that was murdered and you think this is any kind of justice? You think this is content?? A life of a child dumbed down for your audience that is just about the most horrific thing that happened to them?

Family members and partners of the people you speak about message you and beg you to shut the fuck up since you're making up stories and turning the death of their loved one into a one person performance and you either ignore them or publicly state that you're just "bringing the event to the light" not even considering how this public dragging of a corpse is affecting the actual people involved.

And what's your reward? An audience too stupid to think for themselves who believes that there is a bigger possibility of a serial killer coming after them then the police just not giving a fuck because they're people who hold power over the average person.

I hope everyone who gives these people a platform knows that they're also participating in the system that allows cops to get of the hook for their negligence. I hope you know you're a part of this system and I hope you can feel the weight of your participation weighing over you every day.

pop health science is so annoying bc it'll be like "did you know? eating strawberries will give you mega cancer" and you're like pfft whatever begone influencer. but sometimes then you'll see a reasonably credible article like "Study Shows Possible Link Between Strawberries and Mega Cancer" and you're not usually the type to follow that kind of thing religiously but idk maybe you should consider not eating strawberries? but then there's another article saying "Strawberry/Mega Cancer Study Debunked" and it turns out the original study had a sample size of 3 and was funded by Big Blueberry, and strawberries may have a small connection to mega cancer but only if you are genetically predisposed to mega cancer and eat 50 strawberries every day. so you return to your strawberry eating life. but whenever you eat strawberries in public someone tells you about the mega cancer.
