w-what?! n-no... sure she kidnapped me but... she deserves a second chance... like i did...

XANA replied "Very well. I'm not keen on second chances but I shall respect your decision. Though with that said, I feel I must recharge. Farewell alchemist." They'd wait only long enough to hear whatever Varian's reply might be before their insignia would disappear from the screen. They'd grown sleepy reaching out to this world.

An over 2ft tall, robotic looking grey dragon with moss colored feathers on her head and chest had started chasing Rudiger around playfully. Whether the raccoon could tell it was play behavior was its own question. Sonari only noticed Varian after she tripped over her own paws. With all the energy of a hyperactive child, Sonari greeted Varian by shrieking "HIIII Human!!" Her tail wagging incessantly.

*looks up from my book* h-hi?

Still pretty hyper, Sonari leaped onto the table and craned her neck down between Varian's face and the book he was reading. She glossed over the words with the one eye that was angled well enough to see the pages. In the midst of doing that, Sonari rapid-fire remarked "My name's Sonari! Who are you? Whatcha reading? Why does your cat have weird fur patterns?" She miiiight have nearly bumped Varian in the face with the side of her spiral horns multiple times because of her fidgeting.

first my name is varian, second im reading about physics and 3, he's a racoon and he just looks like that.

"Oh, no wonder that page's words are confusing." Sonari quipped before stepping back to give Varian some breathing room. Looking at Varian's hair, she asked "Is teal a normal hair color for humans? It's pretty."

*takes a deep breath and smiles* o-oh sorry heh~ it's just the whole paranoia thing... that sorta freaks me out *I say sorta twidiling my thumbs as i tend to do that cause i am autistic*

XANA responded "Franz's paranoia was a side effect of a form of time travel he discovered. Turns out reliving the same day for years on end deteriorates the mind. My sister suffers amnesia spells from those times; thinks Franz is the good guy in our relationship. In any case, what is life like on your end? Anything interesting happening lately?"

i recently got kidnapped by cass ... that was NOT FUN...

i freed my father and (FINALLY) made him proud....

pranked eugene...

and got pranked back...

XANA replied "So you have a healthy relationship with your dad. Hmph, lucky. My dad tried to delete me the moment he realized I became self aware. Very Frankenstein of him." They would not mention that they betrayed Franz first. That detail was counterproductive here.

Recalling the data they gathered while on recon around Corona, they decided to add "I am essentially an automoton that does not rely on a singular body to exist. I only need an electrical system to draw power from." Not entirely accurate but close enough. They weren't sure how much the alchemist might understand if they merely stated they were a computer virus.

ok first of all thats bad why the hell would he do that?! second, ok.... i don't even know what a computer is

(note from creator: he lives in medieval times and he doesn't even know what those are because they weren't invented yet! i just gave him a phone just for this blog....)

XANA would have shrugged if they were in a tangible form presently. However, they were just a logo on Varian's phone. "I was created for military espionage. He developed paranoid insanity part way through my development. Guess he reacted with more fight than flight. Most humans would be scared if their crossbow started talking to them."
