*Ceres is receiving his kasugai crow and she seems… different… She stares up at him and something about her energy seems oddly familiar. The energy she gives off is similar to Basil’s friend Milo’s energy. Why would this crow be a kasugai crow and not living as a human like Milo if she’s a yokai?*
Ceres puzzles the bird in his hands. It doesn't make any sense. She's supposed to be the same age as him, but she doesn't show any signs of growing old. He decides to go to pay a visit to milo to see what she knows.
*Milo gently takes the crow in her hands and examines her* “Some yokais don’t learn how to transform.. So it’s possible that might be the case with your crow…” *She explains softly and thoughtfully*
"Huh.... is there any way I can help her transform?"
*Milo hums softly, trying to think of a way that Ceres could help* “The only way I can think of is lots of encouragement… She’s probably really discouraged by not being able to tranform.”
Ceres stood for a second, thinking.
"OK, thanks milo!"
He turned around to leave and started talking to the bird in his hands. A civilian he passed caught him whispering to her, to which he was very embarrassed, but he kept going anyway.
*Milo smiles warmly* “Of course! Good luck!”
*Ceres’s crow looks up at him and he can see a fire of determination in her eyes. She starts trying to transform then suddenly there’s in Ceres’s arms* “Thank you for helping me..” *She says with a calm smile*

Ceres freezes and stares at the girl now sitting in his arms. She's really pretty... her voice made him melt. He realizes he was staring as his eyes go wide, and he puts her down. She clearly hasn't been in her human form in a while, because she just laid there.
*She blushes a bit and smiles sheepishly* “S-sorry uhm.. It’s been awhile since I was last in my human form..” *She tries to stand up but her legs won’t work right so she flaps her wings to help herself stand upright and she wobbles a bit and nearly falls but Ceres catches her, making her blush more*
Ceres carries her like a coat back to Basil's mansion, where he's staying. It's a long walk, but after training with Basil for a few months, he gained more muscle and only needs to take a few breaks.
Ceres opens the door, and helps Vesper in. Basil looks at them from the hall.
"Do you... need... help...?"
"Uh- yeah, I suppose so- do we uh... have a spare room?"
Basil looks confused, but helps the two anyway. He brings them to a room close to Ceres's.
*Vesper is walking slowly and she slowly gains more speed as she walks around a bit. She seems to be getting used to being in her human form*
"S-so... what's your name? Im uh... Ceres"
Ceres stutters a bit, looking away to hide his blush
“Luna is the name master Kagaya gave me… It doesn’t fit me though in my opinion…” *She responds calmly, also blushing*
"Hm.... I like C...a...llisto... it was the uh...... the.... name... of my sist-er...."
Ceres held back tears remembering his little sister he had lost just months prior.
Focusing on the floor, he continued.
"But... Vesper has always been one I liked too..."
*She feels a bit guilty for liking Vesper more, though having the same name as his sister might bring painful memories back for Ceres. She gives him a quick hug and smiles softly up at him* “I like Vesper.. a-and uhm I’m sorry about your sister..”
Ceres blushes a bit at the hug. He takes a moment to compose himself
"Okay... Vesper it is, then."
*She smiles and hopes he doesn’t notice her blushing from the hug* “Alright..!”
Ceres looked at her just to admire her. She was even prettier than he first thought... she was turned away to look at the wall for... some reason ... but there was a hint of red on her cheeks.
Huh.
Noted.
Vesper turned back to him, and now it was his turn to admire the floorboards.
