i, personally, am not a fan of pewdiepie, cry, or just about any other let's play person ( to be perfectly honest i find the majority of them rather annoying, though i have nothing against them as a person or the people that like them) --
but when it comes to comparing the games, i think that's unfair?
it's like you're comparing one person to another - none of those games were made by the same person, all different authors with different ideas, etc - and that, to me, isn't something you can really argue.
furthermore, the only thing the games have in common is what they were made with as well as the genre - horror.
i'm a fan of all of those games, and i think each one has things that i love, as well as a few things i dislike. it doesn't mean one of them is better, it's more based on personal preference.
i understand that a lot of people find themselves disliking something due only to the fanbase - the same thing happened to me with homestuck, though after disregarding the fandom and actually reading it, i still found myself disliking it quite a lot - but the main thing is to remember that the game itself does not reflect what the fandom is.
for example, again, i dislike homestuck - however, i don't go around saying "homestuck is horrible, don't read it, wow bad webcomic, 0/10 would not read again", that's silly.
tl;dr i think it's a little unfair to compare the games, and going too far to start fighting over them. everyone is entitled to their preference; but it doesn't mean that you have to go pushing it in everyone's face. as well, it's perfectly fine to dislike a fandom because of how the subject ( game in this situation ) can become somewhat overrated, there's nothing wrong with that.
