I wanted to be military but no… Im too spoiled. No… freak accident. At least the military is noble. I’m just prancing around the yard of a man richer than me in assless chaps and lady undies that ride up my crack. I might as well be an escort.

I thought things like this weren ‘ t a big deal when it happened to me . infact , on that bed , I thought I was gonna end up with a cool scar or something — totally wrong , but it was after the moment and when I got back home did I realize ; you don ‘ t really expect the disadvantages before you actually need to function again in society . a soldier who lost his leg wouldn ‘ t think about a wheel chair , he ‘ d think about his family .

for me , since I lost my right eye , I found that i became less coordinated and had to reteach myself stuff . instruments , my motorcycle , stuff .

I think the strangest thing was re - teaching myself how to chew . my right face is totally blown , so whenever I ate , food would fall right out of my mouth , and I could only eat small portions or just had to drink . I remember coming home and everyone looking at me during dinner when food was falling out of my jaw . I ate on the curb

I… ugh sorry I should know better than that. My Grandpa’s ex military. A uh- symbol of “Transylvanian Spirit”. Hes got a scar a lot like yours, but goes diagonal and it took off a lot of his nose, instead of an eye. He eats with a handkerchief. Holds it up to his face. If he’s ever inclined to come down here maybe you guys could talk.

This fandom has a shit ton of diversity. Especially with OC’s.. I’ve seen almost every single one of them follows the theme of rocky horror — representing LGBTQ+ identities, cross dressing (or drag), Neurodivergence, and not so much on physical disabilities nor people of color. I think one of your anon’s already stated that since rhps are transylvanians (aliens) then that should allow complete access to go crazy on appearance. But the only OC i’ve seen that had anything to do with being a poc is (stated) afro caribbean. Good for them. That’s one OC. Another I thought was blind, probably not. And then the disabilities are limited if it’s only Dr Scott that’s physically disabled. The point i’m trying to make is that this fandom suffers from unbalanced representation regarding original characters. Not saying they’re avoiding representation. They’re creative and thought out. Not telling anyone to force it neither. 🦉

Nodding thoughtfully. Theres only two POC oc that I know of… bootyman (Jamaican, Japanese, Romanian) and I coulda sworn Algernon was Asian-pacific but maybe not I didn’t see that in the ref. Did the ref get updated?

BUT I KNOW YALL HAVE POC OCS RATTLING AROUND IN YOUR BRAIN… set them free….

Also Theres gotta be at least some disabled ocs?? Rattling around in there too?

so for those curious! Algernon comes down as southeastern asian (APAC), which dominates countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and the rest all together.

start making more ethnically interesting characters !!!! not everyone has to be white !!!
