Hi. you said something about Alice being originally from some game? I haven't the foggiest idea what game you were talking about. A hint, maybe?

These games! They're fairly niche but a cult classic nonetheless, a BIG part of my childhood as if obvious in the creation of this blog. Now you don't really need the context of the games to understand the story of this blog. I will elaborate and give context in the story through what Alice says, but this is (indeed) the birthplace of "Knifehead".

How can we send messages to you if we need to send a link of our OCs to you for reference?

Oh gosh if you send me the references it'll make my life a thousand times easier. Don't be shy in popping them in my submission box or personal dms I genuinely don't mind. Keeps me from making up pony designs on the fly...hoo hoo~ All I ask is don't expect wonderful works of art every time, your oc might just be filling up space in the background. Do the Mane 6 exist in your AU, and if so, has Alice met them or will meet them yet, Mod?

Indeed they do! Thriving, the only difference is Twilight hasn’t gotten her wings quite yet. As for interacting with them, tsk tsk, it’s not fun revealing the story. We’ll just have to see what happens!

Can put OCs interact with Alice face to face? Like, for instance, give her a gift or chat with her?

Yes! I highly encourage interaction! This chapter is basically the...introduction stage. Who is she, What is she, Where did she come from, Where did she go, Where did she come from Cotton-Eye-Joe? ...Sorry. Couldn't help it. Later on, however, OCS will and can be placed into panels and affect the story, I'm just getting...snuggly, with setting up the stage.

just wanted to pop in and say-your blog looks awesome. your art is amazing, the backgrounds are stunning, and it's hard not to instantly love alice's character (i could also smell the price inspiration from a mile away; particularly thanks to the flavor you put into the text from apotheoseity's question)

Thank you so much, I'm so glad my art is being appreciated, even if the subject is a bit silly. --And yes, the text is a clear giveaway, I can't help it! It's so delightfully expressive! To answer your question, err...about 8 hours if I really cram it. Ponies are not hard to draw for me, it's people and human anatomy! All my time goes into my backgrounds. I always viewed it as my biggest weakness in my art so I made it a goal to change that! You can tell...it's a little messy with my painting, however, it does its job in being atmospheric! Question for the mod; your art style is tremendously beautiful and has an uncanny similarity to the comics, were you ever an artist for them?

This is incredibly flattering and I thank you for your nice comment, it brightens my day! However to answer your question, no I am not an artist for the comics ( I wish I was though! ) , but you do have a good eye! I reference the comics often and study the panels. Who you're thinking of is Andy Price!

I've been wanting to get into comics for a while and thought this would be a good start for me. I will sing praise to Andy's work day and night. The line work is perfect, the colors harmonize and never clash with each other, and don't get started on the very stretchy squashy expressions! I'm new to this blog, but is this Alice based on the one from the game?

Indeed! She was an...odd concoction I made when I was but a spry young age of 16. She's a mix of two things I liked, the complexities of mental illness and trauma packaged in a beautiful work of art that is the Mcgee games and...technicolor ponies discussing the values of friendship.

Back way then I realized that it was a ludicrous idea and thought that I had outgrown this blog and wanted to kick it away and hide it under the carpet in shame, however, a few friends of mine discussed the blog and convinced me to revisit it and at least finish the story. This blog gave me my friends, my art skills, and my love of writing so-- it's hard to kick it by the wayside. All the context you need is that Alice (Indeed from the games) had been mysteriously transported into the lands of Equestria and she was mortified by the fact she has no thumbs! Oh me oh my, how dreadful. The older posts can be considered non-canon, so I wouldn't worry about catching up. ...and why would you? the writing was awful!
