Hey! What are your thoughts on a woman who is a Virgo sun and aquarius moon and a man who is a taurus sun and cancer moon? :)

Oh wow. Well, a Virgo sun with an Aquarius moon is always up for a good time. They are always looking for something new and exciting and are quite inventive. They can however, thanks to that pesky moon, be very…detached. They might try to distance themselves from those who might get too close and they don’t like letting feelings get in the way.

Taurus with a Cancer moon is always up for a good time too. Their good time however is usually more comforting and less exciting. Taurians are all about doing what they know to be comfortable and they might do it in excess. When it comes to feelings they are FAR from detached. They feel everything and want their feelings to be respected and reciprocated.

There are two ways this could go.

1) HORRIBLY HORRIBLY WRONG!

2) Strangely perfect. The woman could help her Taurian push his boundaries while he reminds her that there is nothing wrong with the occasional night watching Netflix. Taurus could help Virgo break down some emotional barriers and Virgo could be the strong one when Taurus is too overcome with emotions to deal. Their friends and family might not get it but that’s not what matters.

i'm an aqua and ive noticed a pattern with myself its like i like a boy and he ends up messing me over and i just pretend im fine and then like months or years later i become depressed out of the blue, and then i have to figure out why i'm sad and it ends up being for that reason.

I'm the same way. I think it's because Aquarians, as much as we can over-think certain things, aren't always all that introspective. We don't necessarily deal with things if we don't want to and that comes back to bite us in the ass in one form or another. But knowing you do this is half of the battle. As much as it hurts you have to force yourself to deal with the unpleasantness in your life or else you'll have to deal with is later ten fold.

We tend to put on an "everything is fine" face when everything isn't fine. Be it a smile or feigned confidence. The key is knowing when the line between a defense mechanism and complete repression. It's a fine line, I know, but you need to look closely at it.

Hi I am a Leo female with a Pisces female friend. This friend is a few years younger and in the last 6 months has been very depressed and sucicidal. I have tried to be there for her and get her help from someone who can objectively help her but the crux of the issue is that she REFUSES to let go of negative people in her life. I do not know a lot about her sign. Can you give me some insight? Thanks so much!

Normally I try not to answer these out of order but this seems like it's slightly more urgent so I'm making an exception.

Pisceans...when they are stressed it takes it's toll on their bodies. It makes them physically ill which can manifest in depression and suicidal ideations. And when they feel this way they can turn toward their own versions of self-medication like drinking or drugs (so maybe watch out for that) or OTHER addictions. Like, perchance, toxic people they feel the need to cling to.

Now something you might need to know, as a friend, is that Pisceans tend to have these stressful times and become depressed when their creativity or their outlet is stifled. They have an appreciation for the beauty in life. You might encourage whatever outlet she is missing or even just...do something to remind her about the beauty in life. Go to some park she likes or listen to her favorite album.

Basically, there is no way she will give up her addiction (toxic people) until her stress and fear and depression have passed. Nothing you can do or say will make her give them up and might just drive her to push YOU away and, as a positive influence (at least I'm working under the assumption that you are), that would not be beneficial to her situation.

You're a Leo so, whether you know it or not, you were basically born to direct the attention of those around you. Just, direct your younger friend toward the more beautiful things in life. Without her realizing you're trying to do it, of course.

How can I attract this Aquarius guy with a Capricorn moon and gemini rising? I'm a sag with a Scorpio moon and Aries rising. I know that we're really compatible and we have a lot in common as well. Ah yes...Aquarians are very sensitive to seeing someone they might even kind of like hugging someone else. Seriously. It inexplicably gets us completely down. However, his Capricorn moon might suggest that he's slightly more reasonable than your average Aquarius. BUT his Gemini rising means a certain level of self-doubt what with the need to over examine everything he does.

ANYWAY! I suppose the best way to attract an Aquarius (although I don't believe in changing your tactics to attract someone who might not have been attracted to your natural and instinctive "tactics") is so go at it through humor and intellectual conversation. I'm not saying "pretend you're smart or smarter than you are". I'm just saying that connecting with an Aquarius on an intellectual level is really the way to go. We like excitement as well which comes from finding people different from us. So don't try to change your ideas and beliefs based on what he thinks because he won't respect that or be more interested.

Basically, play up your own natural intelligence and humor and that ought to be a good route toward finding your way into his heart. But, honestly, if he doesn't appreciate you for you then he isn't worth it. BUT as a Sagittarius with Scorpio moon and Aries rising you are pretty likely to attract him. You are very different from him and that can be pretty exciting.

Hello! I have a question about a Leo. How would they act if they are attracted to you? I have a huge crush on one who is significantly older. She looks at me and looks away and barely talks to me unless she HAS to (I work with her). Someone else I work with stated "I see the way she looks at you." But she wont even look at me when I look! I feel so needy but I just want her to say hi because i'm a pansy. I'm an aqua btw :))

Generally Leos are up front and enthusiastic about their romantic feelings. If they find someone they think they can have a relationship with then they are excited to begin. So you can usually tell if they are into you.

However, when a Leo is hurt it takes them a long time to recover from that hurt. So if she has been hurt recently then she might be reluctant to risk it again.

There are other things which factor into a persons romantic interest and how they act on it (like their moon, Venus and Mars for example). Another factor COULD be the age thing. I don't know how significant this age gap is but it could easily be a factor.

Any advice for a gemini sun,aries moon and scorpio rising for study? I am learning german ,portuguese and korean and russian. On top of that i need to get good grades in high school but im failing most clases. Any help?

First of all, WOW. That is quite an array of languages which have little in common in terms of linguistics. Impressive.

The problem you're probably facing is that everything you're doing feels overwhelming. You're a Gemini so you're mostly about doing things in the moment. Your Aries moon is, for lack of a better term, a little thoughtless. You react to things quickly and go with your first emotional response. This...is not always good when it comes to studying.

Luckily you have your Scorpio rising which means you know yourself better than anyone. When faced with a challenge you know where your strengths lie and you play them up. So use that. Gemini and Aries are very social signs. So, do you need to try group studying? Or is the problem that you concentrate too much on the social? You can't cut that part out entirely because then you won't be able to concentrate. Did you try to cut that out and that's frustrated you beyond being able to retain information?

My number one tip for studying for you is to keep it INTERESTING. Some people can just absorb and process facts and rules but odds are you don't. You need to have some sort of recall. If you are able to note something interesting about some historical fact or scientific fact then you're more likely to be able to recall it. Find out tricks for remembering mathematical formulae and make them interesting so you can remember them.

It's hard for a person who connects to things on a more emotional level to remember things to which they have no attachment. I know. So you have to find a way to make it work. I do HIGHLY suggest study groups where you take an assignment or bit of reading and rehash it. Because other people's opinions or rewording could help you to latch onto the details.

Haha, not pushy. At all.

Let's see, you've got a cool array of personalities in your family. One water, one earth and one air sign. This means that sometimes you just don't understand where one another is coming from, while you guys might get along well enough. Your priorities in life are different. Your approaches to situations are different.

For example: when dealing with perhaps an emotional situation you three react in different ways. Your mom is perhaps the most emotional of the three of you. Being a Scorpio, the flood of emotions is common but so is the ability to channel that emotion, especially in the case of an older Scorpio who has had the time to focus her energy. Perhaps she channels it into getting things done or perhaps she just gives into the feelings.

Your brother, meanwhile, probably tries to avoid the emotions. If it is sadness or grief he probably either distances himself from the rest of you or does little things to try to distract you. But odds are he does eventually reveal how he's feeling and shocks those around when he bursts.

You, however, don't understand the other two and how they deal with their emotions. As an earth element you take a head on approach. You see how you're feeling, you express it, you process it and you continue living. You don't have to channel or avoid your emotions. I'd be willing to bet you sometimes feel like the only sane one in your family. But you're just different.

You know, with Geminis it is a real crap shot. The thing is they are naturally if not flirty then attention grabbing. It isn't necessarily on purpose but they do it. Same with nostalgia. It's a connecting thing. They behave this way to stay in a person's good graces and to make sure they stay close to that person.

The best thing to do would be to ask them. I mean...it kind of SEEMS like they might still have feelings. I guess the question is, how do YOU feel about it? I mean, do you still have feelings for them? Why did it end? Did they damage your trust irreparably? Would you be willing to give it another go?

If you don't want to be anything but friends then I suggest (and I know this might not seem like the best thing but honestly) ignoring it. Eventually they will figure out that you don't care for them in that way and will seek out another means of connecting to you. If you DO want to be with them (as I think you might) then the best thing you can do is be up front and ask them if this is the case. It's what I would do. It's best to get right down to the truth.

So, I have a leo sun, leo moon, and libra rising. i've slept with this older virgo male twice keeping the relationship strictly physical. of course i caught on feelings but i'd rather keep my pride then tell him how i really feel. he won't text me unless i text him first (which is hardly ever) and the conversations are short. all i want is to be important to him. he says he's busy but is this normal for a typical virgo?

First of all, if you have feelings for him then you have feelings for him. It is what it is and ignoring it won't make it go away.

Next, typical Virgos, in relationships that is, have a tendency to criticize themselves; to think they don't deserve love or whatever. So it is possible that he just thinks his attention isn't actually important to you.

But maybe you should get rid of that Leo pride and admit how you feel. You initializing the conversation could be the only thing he needs to get him going.

Haha. Well I'm glad YOU think it's a great combination because, honestly, that's all that really matters.

If you've read ANY of my posts about Aquarians (good lord there are so many, heh) then you know the ups and downs of an Aquarius sun sign. You got the distance, the excitement, the creativity. Blah blah, right?

You also have the grounded rising sign of Gemini. Gemini rising feels like they must examine their every idea before it can be thoroughly realized. In fact, this introspection can be a bad thing. But not always. More than anything, Gemini rising are supportive, especially with a romantic partner or close friends. This combined with the Aquarius ability to be there for people lends toward the idea that you are a person who encourages people to pursue bigger goals and achievements. You let them know what they are capable of.

Now, while your sun sign is cool and aloof and you rising is grounded, your moon -your emotional CORE- is...much more powerful. You can be very easily moved to extreme happiness or a puddle of tears. Now this is probably kept a little in check by your sun and rising but inside you are pretty emotional and have a romantic and nostalgic side which you cannot completely suppress.

First off, just because you get used does not make you stupid. Do you perhaps just lean towards people who are deceitful? Maybe. Are you possibly just unfortunately trusting and hopeful of the best in people? Maybe. But stupid is definitely not it.

Your Aquarius sun, moon and Mercury indicate you possess a certain amount of charm, individuality, stubbornness but also a romantic streak which cannot be overlooked.Your Gemini rising is probably the reason you think this whole thing is your fault. It indicates a person whose self-examination tends to become an over-analyzing issue. Your Mars and Venus might make you seem like a person who...enjoys sex and being in charge (like in charge of driving people and the like) enough that they just don't feel bad using you.

Basically, being cold and distant is not the alternative. In fact, it's possible that there are people who want to get close to you, as a PERSON not just a sex toy, object or skill they can abuse. You just have to notice them. It's very likely you're overlooking the people who genuinely like you for you.

You know, a lot of us as human beings do this. We meet someone or hear about someone who sparks an idea in our head and we have a huge crush on the idea. My best advice is to get out of your head. Don't get me wrong. Have a rich fantasy life. It means you have a healthy mind.

Now, if you actually got to know the dude then a Taurus and Aquarius...could work out for a while. But Taurians are all about comfort and Aquarians are all about pushing their boundaries and trying new things. A Taurus could seem boring to an Aquarius after a while. (I'm not insulting Taurians following me. You're not boring. You just enjoy comfort and once you find something that makes you happy you don't always think there's a need to look for anything else. And that's perfectly fine.)

Maybe that could help get rid of the fantasy crush? Just knowing that it wouldn't work out? I don't know. Sometimes that's a thing that helps me get over imaginary crushes. That or just getting to know the person. Because that can either give you a solid foundation upon which your crush may be based or get rid of the crush altogether.

Haha. Could be worse, you could be my sister. Almost her entire chart exists in Scorpio. Scorpio is just a super intense sign (so you can only imagine my sister). But let's attack this one step at a time here, shall we?

A Pisces with Capricorn rising is creative and clever and sometimes they know it...but sometimes they aren't sure. Pisces is a, as I said, clever sign and can easily be sort of deceitful. Pisces are smart and understand true power so they are less likely to be the "leader" but more the "power behind the throne". In other words, if Pisces was a Hogwarts student they would likely be a Slitherine. Bearing in mind that Slitherines, and Pisces, are not inherently evil just clever and have an understanding of the way the world works. The cleverness and understanding however are sometimes questioned by your rising. Capricorn rising has a tendency to flux between over-confidence and extreme lack of confidence. So sometimes you may question how clever and intelligent and well-meaning you truly are.

To simplify, Mercury is the planet of communication. Aries is a sign which is already very social and out there so you can only imagine what it does to the planet of communication. You can get your point across to others in a very clear way which might even sway people toward your way of thinking. This only makes your power behind the throne abilities even better. It only furthers my point about you being a fantastic Slitherine.

ANYWAY, let's see if I can define Lilith's influences a little better than I did it's actual existence. Lilith is...the question. Lilith influences how we question our lives, our jobs, our beliefs and ourselves. It also represents a frustration or an unrealized problem or desire. But it also shows us how we can "let go". (Nope, that was a rubbish explanation as well...)

At any rate, your Scorpio Lilith might indicate that the way you connect to the universe and to the void of life is through your ever present emotional capacity. Your decisiveness and strong feelings aid in your questioning your place in the world and allow you to feel some semblance of peace when you find your answers. A frustration or a problem might even be your emotional overflow. Lilith shows you how to let go by not only embracing your emotionality but also by letting go of the troubling jealousy which might plague you.

I'm not as well versed on Lilith as I should be (because my parents never taught me) but this is what I get from it.

So let's do this in order, hmm?

Both Pisces and Cancer are imaginative and creative. This could mean when it comes to things you guys actually do, so getting creative and doing new things, or just chilling out and talking about imagined situations. Like if you won the lottery or if you guys took off for some exotic locale. You aren’t likely to do much of what you talk about doing but you guys probably talk until you’re too tired to talk anymore.

You and your boyfriend probably seem like opposites to others. He’s a little more reserved and you a little more free. But really, you guys are probably good for one another. Virgos are often very self-critical while Pisces tend to assure their partners of how amazing they are. Meanwhile, Pisces can be somewhat unrealistic in terms of certain expectations they have so Virgos will keep them grounded. It’s a great balance.

With your Aries friend you are probably of at your best. Pisces have great talents which they can’t often express but Aries is all about trying to get people to express. The issue with Aries being their selfishness (as I’ve said, they can’t help it.
