✤ - a memory that involves romance/love

((angie’s first ever crush from like sixth grade... i don’t want to write a thing involving virginie without mun approval because then it’s in virginie’s memories too. i could probably get mun approval but i am an anxious person who just wants to write cool stuff about tiny angie. joanna isn’t based on anyone she’s just a Random Person))

“What’s your name? I’m Joanna.”

Angie looked at the hand being thrust at her, then up at the person thrusting it. She stood up, pushing her chair back from her desk. “Angelica.”

“Cool name.” Joanna’s hair bounced when she talked. It reminded Angie of Lafayette. 

“Thanks. Most people just call me Angie.”

Joanna copied Angie’s quiet, hesitant, tone. “Most people just call me Joanna.” Her tone reverted back to being just as bouncy as her hair. “Anyway, mind if I sit by you?”

Angie nodded, sitting back down and moving her chair over to make room. They worked side by side, and they barely talked, but Angie could never fully stop looking at Joanna’s bouncing curls, or her giant eyes, or her full lips... she didn’t learn the word “lesbian” for a full year after her affection for Joanna waned, but she found an immediate kinship in it.
