A few rules under the cut.

1. Please no NSFW or fetishy asks. I really wish this didn't need to be a rule but apparently this needed to be listed on other blogs too. 2. Please don't force plot points via asks without my permission! (Note: Ask hints and asking to learn more about a character are good! I mean like trying to use an OP character to completely erase a problem that's important to the plot.) 3. Gifts are great and almost always accepted! But if your gift is on the same level of power as a Z-Crystal or Mega Stone, please talk to me first! 4. I'm not very picky with asks! But if you don't see your ask being answered, it's probably because I don't know how to answer it or it's a path I don't want to go down. 5. I encourage doing things with the region of Arcshua! It's preferable if you talk to me first just so it fits with the lore for the most part. However, I will not tolerate use of my characters that isn't fan art or answering asks sent by me without permission first. 6. More may be added as necessary.

so this absence has now become indefinite.

I realized as I gone on break, I felt RELIEVED. you aren't supposed to feel relieved about your own projects. so that's why I'm taking a longer break now. I've been thinking of askappos, asktrainerzoroark, and askobliviatwo as a chore, and I don't want to think of them that way. I don't want them to be an obligation, I want them to be fun.

now then, that doesn't mean I'm abandoning my projects. I very much want to see them through to the end. I just need to put myself at a distance until I stop seeing them as something I have to do like dishes or laundry.

I'll still be around. you can find me on my main at @umbreonrogue and I'm hanging around my Pokemon IRL blogs too.

hey guys

so i've been feeling burnt out for about a month now, if the more frequent talk sprites are any indicator. i'm surprised it took a few years to get to this point, but i have like three askblogs to consider the stories and characters for.

so i'm giving myself a month long break from pokemon askblogs. i will return on May 1st, 2024, but in the meantime I'll happily continue to send out asks if so requested.

Well, the arriving person definitely got Skye's attention.

Gaea follows behind the duo, holding a pouch in one vine. "Slow down, you barely gave me enough time to get an allowance for the meal," she chastised. "I know you're excited, but let's not get ahead of ourselves."

"But for now, please, enjoy your day. Why not go out and eat, or play at the park? There's a whole day of you to pass the time of until your next mission."

"Understood sir! Hey guys, I noticed there was a restaurant for Alolan cuisine the other day. Why don't we go there?"

"I'm not entirely opposed to it. Skye?"

"I hope there's sweet malasadas! The sweetest and fruitiest ones out there!"

As the trio left, Professor Tamarind spun around in his chair with a sigh.

"What are your goals, exactly, Team Trapper? You went from being a nuisance for Pokemon Rangers into an entire threat, genetically engineering your own hybrids to act as weapons. My gut instinct tells me you want more than just to poach off of Pokemon."

"I hope that I am wrong."

"You're welcome!" Skye spoke up first. "I'm happy Candy is safe now!" "If we didn't come and stop that grunt, I don't know what would have happened to them or any other Pokemon," Appos said.

"I don't think you called us here just to thank us," Gaea stated, looking at Professor Tamarind. "Why did you ask for us?"

Walt approaches Appos as he is very surprised at her. "O-oh, I've never seen Umbreon like you. Ah-also I heard you're p-part Silvally too and it also ch-changes the type depends on the drive. D-do you have a-a f-fave one?"

"I like being all of my types, of course, but I like the ones that give me saturated colors."

To skye: Do you like whipped cream on your pancakes?

(To Gaea: Is skye allowed to have sugar?)

"Yes yes yes! I love whipped cream on pancakes! If you sprinkle powdered sugar on top, it's so good!"

"If you're asking if Skye has any health issues in regards to sugar, then no. She doesn't have diabetes or anything else like that as far as I know. Although, I think she could cut back on the sugar intake a little bit."

"We were actually wondering if there's any missions for us today?" Appos inquired, walking up to her Skye's side. "No, but Professor Tamarind wants to talk to us all."

Skye swallowed a mouthful of pancake. "Really!? What's he want us for?" "Yeah," Appos agreed with her girlfriend, "It's not very often he asks for one specific field rescue squad, right?" "I'm not sure," Gaea admitted. "Go ahead and have your breakfast, we are going to his office as soon as you two are ready."
