The name is Cameron Humphrey, but I go by Cam. I am the eldest Humphrey and I feel like it's my responsibility to look out for Tate and our baby sister. It's my Senior year at St. Jude's and I'm really just trying to figure out who I am. I don't want to be like my parents.

A Night To Remember

Well as you may know May 1st, was supposed to be a big evening event.  But who was expecting any of these events to go down! It was bigger than big! Chuck, Blair, Nate, Juliet, Serena and Dan had an eventful evening in the Bass Penthouse with a bunch of champagne and catching up to do. As for the others, it was crazy to not pay attention to. Carter Jr.’s club opening was something extraordinary. It started off as the party of the century with booze, babes, beauties, and ended up with babies!

Yes that’s right I said babies. But let me start by what happened and brought that about. Well the party started off great with drinks in hand, laughs, and ton of dancing. Then things got a bit out of hand between Margherita Armani and Matt Perelman getting steamy in the corner of the club and displaying many PDA moves such as having sex. And then of course, Tate’s water broke in the middle of the club and she was brought straight to the hospital, which divided C&C to go separate ways. Cam and Cara had a huge fight because Cara chose to stay with CJ instead of accompanying her boyfriend to the hospital. Trouble in paradise is not what I was expecting especially because things got out of hand where Cam said she can’t make it up to him. There were speculations of incest within the Baizen family and maybe this is the confirmation that we needed. Super Slut gets screwed over again first by Nate Archibald, then Nate’s son Nolan, and now CJ Baizen. Can this poor girl get a break?

CJ's Club Opening | Cam & Cara

Cam walked into the club hand-in-hand with Cara as they approached the bouncer holding the red velvet rope the bouncer said “are you on the list? name?” Cara looked at Cam and reached over to the bouncer to show them her name. Cam didn’t see if he was a “plus one” or if his name was actually on the list. He didn’t really care enough about that stuff though because he’s pretty go-with-the-flow about a lot of things. They walked past the red velvet rope and into a room filled with smoke and strobe lights. Cam and Cara were still hand-in-hand until she saw her brother and ran up to hug him and congratulate them. Cam just stood there alone, but felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned around to find Nick behind him. Nick said, “dude, that brother-sister relationship is tight and not tight in a good way if you know what I mean.” Cam didn’t think much of it, but just nodded his head. Cam didn’t know what to think of it to be honest, he thought that maybe people were right about this brother-sister relationship being too close. Then again, if Sage didn’t worry why should he? He walked towards the bar hoping Cara would come find him eventually. He sat down next to Margherita Armani and they decided what the hell and ordered a round of shots. Then Rita had to go get Matteo a soda and herself a beer so Cam was alone. He always wanted to party, but tonight felt different. He felt out of place and off his game. Then all of the sudden, when Cara was walking towards him he heard a scream. Tate was crying out for help. Her water broke. Cam’s parents weren’t here because they didn’t feel like going to an amateur club opening. They would much rather be spending an evening in with Chuck, Blair, Juliet, and Nate. Reagan wasn’t there either because she was at a dance rehearsal or whatever. Cam freaked out. He panicked to Cara, “I HAVE TO GO! I HAVE TO MAKE PHONE CALLS AND MEET MY SISTER AT THE HOSPITAL! Are you coming or what?!” Cam hoped Cara would say, “Let me just go get my coat.”, but he had a feeling she might not.

Cara didn’t know what to think or what to say. Cara had an obligation as a sister to be there for her family, but Cam’s family felt like her family. She sometimes even wished they were hers, but she felt emotionally torn. She looked at him deeply into his eyes and said, “Cam, please understand.” She paused and the continued, “I can’t. This is my family and this is important to my brother.” Cam looked at her broken heartedly and not in shock whatsoever. She continued, “I promise you when this is over I will be headed straight to the hospital.” He just kept staring at her, which began to make Cara feel uncomfortable. She walked really close to him and ran her fingers through his hair very seductively, “I am sorry. You know how important family is to me. Maybe I can make it up to you later.” She playfully winked at him.

Cam couldn't believe it, well maybe he could have. He just didn't want to. He was hoping that she was joking, but he knew she wasn't. He didn't want to fight with her, he knew how unstable she was. He angrily said back, "No Cara, you can't make it up to me." He was deeply upset and angered. He hit the button on his phone, which automatically dialed his limo driver and went up to the coat check to get his coat back. Cara just stood there, still and motionless, as Cam walked toward the exit of the club not even looking back.
