School's Out For Summer | Audrey & Nolan

Today the rain was coming down like cats and dogs, but that didn't stop Audrey from having a smile spread across her face. This day marked the end of her junior year finals, which of course she aced with the help of Dorota, her tutors, her mother, her father, AND her boyfriend. She was wearing her Burberry trench coat and matching rain boots exiting the school when to her surprise a black stretched limo pulled up to Constance.  The window rolled down and Nolan was gleaming when he saw Audrey. He told her to come into the limo instead of walking to their place. She opened the door and sat in the limo as Nolan was holding at least two dozens of pink peonies. On the way to their place they passed Central Park, Audrey insisted that they get out of the limo and spend some time there despite the weather.  She flashed her smile and batted her puppy dog eyes as she said, "Come on Nolan, I don't care that it's raining follow me!" She skipped away intending on Nolan to follow, which he did. She reached into her Burberry bowling bag when she arrived at the the pond. She picked up some bread to feed the geese and birds at the pond. This was a Waldorf/Archibald tradition, that their parents used to do when they dated in the past so it only felt acceptable.

are you not close to lily? why not?

No I am not. Because she isn’t my grandma biologically and I don’t know who that person might be. It could be anyone. My father has never told me and if he doesn’t want to tell me I won’t force him too. I just don’t feel comfortable around Lily especially after she tried to get me to consider adoption. Didn’t she even care that Scott was living with someone else? I don’t think it was a very heartfelt action and same goes for trying to sway my mind. Got it? Xoxo -A.
