Hello there, hope you're doing well! I'd like to ask what's a part (or parts) of your blog you're looking forward to fleshing out / seeing for yourself? Moments, characters, etc. Not necessarily specifics because yanno, big scary spoilers. More like: Rising action? Inciting incident? Certain character archetypes? Stuff like that! :0c
on a more vague note... I can't wait for Capital to see the consequences of their actions. :) they've had it too easy for too long. you thought the Cleffa using Roar of Time and Spacial Rend was bad? BOY HOWDY YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW BAD IT'LL GET
I also want to properly introduce the rest of the cast. Lyra was askable for a bit, sure, but she hasn't been introduced to ✨the full extent✨. you'll see when it happens!
otherwise I'm looking forward to drawing some action scenes! I don't draw enough of them, and I'm looking forward to a few of them. gotta flex those artistic muscles and all hehe
I LOVE THE FUNKY POLYGONS! they're really neat, genuinely really love the line. don't have a lot of ocs of that species tho, but I do have one... a Porygon-Z/Spinda fusion named Security Protocol. they were part of a blog eons ago... if you remember, you're cool hehe
Happy Munday! I can't remember if it's been asked before, but what made you decide on the combination of pokemon for Capital? Did it fit their role in their o.g setting? Vibes? Shameless use of favorite pokemon?

ok but fr it was mooostly that it fit them best, and also bc I super love Hoopa, and ALSO the mischievous vibes of Hoopa + the lore behind Arceus fit the vibes the best... SO HERE WE ARE!
originally Capital was only going to be a Hoopa, but I was like mmm actually I want them to have legs, and their og version lowkey is like an Arceus, SO... it worked out hehe

An eevee leaves their home for the first and last time.
The sun is rising - the light is warm on her fur, comforting and welcoming. Golden ribbons on trail markers flutter in the soft breeze, her own dancing in tow. The view is everything she was told it would be - an endless skyline broken up by mountaintops piercing a bed of clouds, obscuring all sight of the world below, but... how it felt, seeing it in person...
This quiet moment to herself was needed to remind her of the weight of her decision - to remind her why she can't look back, lest her resolve to leave the only place she'd ever known breaks.
I am "pretty sure" she has a family to go back to. From what I have seen, she fell from a cart that was travelling by. I have now found a path and I will follow it; it will either take me to a town in which I can leave the Cleffa at, or "better yet", I will find her parents and leave her with them.
I am not going to raise this child, nor any for that matter. I can admit that I am no good mentor, nor do I have the patience. She deserves better, does she not?
Lyra walked, slowly walking back the path she had used to get to the event. While she kept an eye on her surroundings, most of her attention was focused on the gift she had received from the Magi. It was beautiful, and the way the light caught the constellations, and how the shadows brought out the shapes of the filigree... it was so incredibly beautiful to her.
She had never been one to own fancy items. She wasn't one for jewelry, nor expensive clothes, not even luxury food; she was happy with what she had. It had always been enough... but this gift was special, and she knew it.
As she walked, she wondered about the stars etched into it. Constellations, she could recognize, and one glowed brighter than the others... what was that about? How could she get the other ones to light up? Perhaps it needed more time, she thought. Perhaps it needs to see more of the sky.
Her daze ended when she reached her spaceship - a small one for what it was, easy to camouflage in the dense flora of the retreat. She waved her hand in front of it, and a door on the side opened. Without much preamble, she climbed inside. The door closed with a quiet mechanical noise.
It wasn't long before she was airborn, and a few moments after she was speeding through the air, heading back the way she came, like a shooting star cutting through the dark of the night.
And, in another universe, where the dawn finally lit up the night sky... there was Capital, walking down a path, Cleffa resting happily in their arms.
Lyra shuffled the items in her arms awkwardly, trying to find a comfortable way to put them all down on the sand. She didn't want to drop the berries and smash them, they'd be inedible then, and letting the water bottle fall would also be bad, as it could get dented and she thought the Magi, perhaps, would not like that. Perhaps they weren't too picky, perhaps they were too proud... for the first time in a while, Lyra felt too sheepish to ask.
She decided to kneel on the floor, slowly and gently opening her arms, and letting the offering roll onto the floor. She quickly stood up, ran back to the tables and grabbed a few napkins, as well as three small cups. Running back, she slid on the sand, stopping right in front of the berries and water. Might as well make the offering presentable.
Lyra dusted off the berries before placing them on a napkin. She poured water into the cups, placed them next to the food, and also left the now half-full bottle nearby, too. She shuffled back, leaving space for the Magi to pick through her offering, and then waited.
Before long, lights began swirling above her head, and she gasped in delight.
[The trio didn't seemed worried for the set up or any errors that the Kirlia made, much to her benefit. In fact, they were just happy to share in her excitement as they danced around her and the display before them.]

[In Lyra's hands appears a star studded globe, flowers preserved in gold filigree as constellations slowly swirl within the content of the globe.]

Lyra gasped, cupping her head in her hands. She took the globe into her hands, eyes shining as bright as the gold under the light of the Magi. She inspected it closely, slowly turning it in her hands, careful so that it won't fall or get disloged from its base. As she held it, she noticed one of the constellations growing brighter than the others. Curious, she thought. Wonder what that's about.
Lyra looked up at the Magi once again, her smile as bright as the sun. She bowed in respect, once, twice, thrice - once for each Magi.
Thank you... thank you so much for this gift! I'll cherish it always. I hope to be back someday, too... thank you!
She slowly sank back, sitting on her feet, the sand cold below her. The lights of the Magi soon faded as they went around, giving gifts to the other participants. Her hands kept turning the gift around, but she wasn't looking at it anymore. She didn't even notice she was fidgetting. She couldn't stop hiding her joy.
Walter: "Why, aren't you the happiest Kirlia in the world! I do wonder - do you want to evolve one day? If so, what would you like to evolve into?"
Hehe, sure am! You gotta stay positive, especially during celebrations such as these. Wouldn't wanna ruin it for others, right?
She put both hands on her hips, puffing her chest out, a determined look on her face.
Why, I'll be a Gardevoir! Gallades are cool and all, but I come from a long line of Gardevoirs, so I'd like to keep that tradition up. Not like I'm in any rush to evolve. Being "pocket sized" suits me well. Though it would be nice to be a smidge taller...
