That’s me! Good looking, and good to see. I don’t know if I count that as a holiday, unless it’s an excuse to do something fun. How have you been, Hunter? Want some company for that spicy documentary?

Some things truly never change, I see. It is funny, I often find myself saying the same thing to Sebastian Smythe. Generally speaking, people make a big to-do about it. Parties, cookouts, things of that nature. In fact, I believe I saw that Oliver Bray will be hosting something, it sounds like it would be in your wheelhouse. I have been well, as well as can be expected. And yourself, Cooper? I would not have guessed something like that would appeal to your particular senses, in fact I was sure you would choose to attend Oliver’s cookout. I will not deny you the opportunity to watch the documentary, though I do suspect you might have a better time elsewhere.

Labor Day, yes. So, a bank and government holiday. I am staying in because I can. I have plenty to occupy my time here. You are looking well, Cooper. It is nice to see you again.

It appears as though everyone will be partaking in thrilling plans this weekend. Congratulations. I extend my sincerest hopes you all enjoy yourselves. I, however, will be spending the majority of the weekend finishing the book I have been reading on WWI, as well as finishing a much-anticipated documentary on the French Revolution. It’s the long weekend, the last official one of the summer, and I’ll be at the bar all weekend, for anyone looking to celebrate a little. Or even if you’re sad to see the end of summer.  I have to say, personally, this turned into an amazing summer but I’m looking forward to the fall.  Anyone else looking forward to fall?  Or have any exciting plans for the fall to share?

I am not looking forward to Fall any more than I am any other season; it is just another season, another month, another day. It is nice to hear you have something so exciting to look forward to. Congratulations to you both. I also have no exciting plans, again no different than any other time or day. Perhaps I will stop by the bar.

SEBASTIAN: If your reply to this text isn't "yes, I'll duet with you for this challenge," you're going to wake up at 3am to me outside your window with a boom box like it's 1985.

Hunter: Despite my /definitely/ being in the business of giving you precisely what you want, I cannot give an answer without first being asked a question.

Hunter: Furthermore, if you show up anywhere near my house at 3:00 AM for anything other than a legitimate emergency, it will devolve rapidly into a rather unpleasant situation.

Oh yeah, you need a Smythe style life intervention. Careful, you might have a heart attack from all of that adrenaline-pumping excitement. I’d ask you to meet up for dinner and clubbing, but I think you’d have more fun with lunch and a museum visit; which is equally thrilling and I’d be glad to pencil in for tomorrow. 

How did I know you were going to say that? A heart attack? Not likely. I take my cardiac health very seriously, as you well know. My life may be not exciting to you, Sebastian. But, it is...Comfortable. As I said, what more could I ask for? Lunch and a museum visit sounds nice. It’s nice to know I’ll be penciled in. I will look forward to seeing you.

I realized long ago that wants very rarely balance or align with reality. Therefore, it is irrelevant. If you have the time to make, I will not say no. I will not, however, beg for your attention. Especially considering that I am more than aware of how much you enjoy just that. Sometime? How specific. There is not much to tell. I worked. I came home. I read. I ate. I slept. I returned to work.

I have no doubt. I always have a ‘work thing’, yes. It sounds like you did, in fact, enjoy what most would consider to be a pleasant weekend. I spent the majority of mine at work, and any spare time I filled with a bit of reading myself. That is likely, yes. Care to elaborate on the specifics of the workout?

I can see that, and what a life it must be. Always so formal, should I show up in a suit and tie for the occasion? Or better, a blazer. Both is always good. It’s been at least a week, you’re right that’s a lot for us. You know where my studio is, you’re always welcome. 

A life it is, nothing more, nothing less. I possess a bed and a roof over my head. I have access to food, daily, as well as a job to attend to each day. I would be foolish to ask for more. Generally that is my preference, yes. However should it not be yours, I will give my best effort to judge only minimally. I do. Time is a fickle thing, however. And, more recently, it seems you have plenty of other matters to attend to. You know where I reside just as well as I am aware of your whereabouts. The majority of streets go two ways.

Quinn: I'm worried about you. What's going on with you that led you to using steroids?

Quinn: Those guys are so talented, they didn't need that. Were you so unsure of them?

Hunter: You? Worried about me? Don't make me laugh. Going on? Please. I am not some juvenile delinquent with frail faculties and an incessant need to blame my own transgressions on the shortcomings of others. My decisions are my own, and I'll not tolerate an insinuation otherwise.

Hunter: And who exactly are you to question me? To be so presumptuous? Uncertainty held and holds no bearing upon my decisions and actions, make no mistake. I do not, however, owe you an explanation in any form nor fashion. So, if that is indeed what you're after, I suggest barking up another tree entirely, as you'll get nothing further from me on the matter.

Hello Hunter. The “festivities” in Lima were nice.  I noticed tonight at work on my break that I have some pictures from then that I haven’t uploaded to Instagram yet.  Maybe tomorrow. I was grateful for the opportunity to take care of some business with my parents as well.  Hopefully, next time you’ll be able to get away too.  It was a good weekend; I just finished my first official weekend working at Nick’s bar.  

Hello, Blaine. ‘Nice’ is such a subjective term, is it not? I realize that my reply was rather delayed, as I have since seen the pictures you are referencing. Are you considering taking up photography as a hobby? It sounds as though all is well, then. I find it difficult to consider Lima, Ohio as a desired ‘get away’ location, however. Perhaps in the future I will find time to venture elsewhere, yes. The Commons, correct? How...Thrilling. I suppose I should congratulate you. Congratulations.

Hello Captain!  You were missed in Ohio- especially during our Warbler performance.  I am choosing to focus on the positives of the weekend, so yes, I had a great weekend.  Exude the energy you wish to attract.  How was your weekend?  And more importantly, when are you coming to The Commons? 

Captain still carries an enjoyable ring, though I believe we are both aware that is no longer a title I carry. Was I? Interesting. I assumed as much, if only from the sappy ...heartfelt posts I seem to consistently see from your side of the fence. My weekend passed, as weekends do. I am unable to provide you with an official time or date. If you wish to see me in your place of business, I expect you will inform me of times in which there are few patrons, no loud music, and zero drunken escapades. Those are my terms.
