Well theres like. 15 of us. 14 if you’re only counting leprechauns that were born that way. Range in size, shape. In this timeline we’re fuzzy, but in other timelines we’re more like amphibians. Cans is the biggest, Clover is the smallest. I think Die is around fourth tallest, but he’s definately one of the skinniest too. I’m like 5th shortest maybe? I’d like to think im pretty tall anyways. And I’m around 3rd fattest. i mean, not fat, but just. thicc. you know??

You’ve probably already guessed that Hivetale isn’t coming back. We would like to explain why.

We tried many times to contact our host for assistance after the server went down. We received no answer to any of our messages, which was unusual as well as grossly unprofessional. We couldn’t give you regular updates because there were none to give. It became clear after two weeks with no answer that our only two options were to either invest in a new host or sue, neither of which were feasible. We deactivated our Patreon soon after the ordeal began since we were unsure at the time if our efforts would pay off.

In the early stages, we planned for Hivetale to, for the most part, moderate itself - which, for the most part, it did. That being said, it still required periodic maintenance and user moderation. The technical demands were hard on our only coder, who couldn’t devote more than a couple hours a week due to his full-time job. Now, all of staff is in a similar situation.

It’s clear now that we, as a group, lack the necessary time, funds, and will to keep the site going, so we feel the best course of action is to lay Hivetale to rest and move on with our lives.

We want to thank as well as apologize to our members. It hits deep when we reflect on how amazingly supportive you guys have been, whether you helped us monetarily or by enjoying the site and providing feedback. We, as staff and fellow roleplayers, recognize that our prolonged silence on this issue, however unavoidable, is still inexcusable, and that you deserved better than we were able to provide with our respective salaries, skills, and growing time constraints. We also recognize that while Hivetale was far from perfect, it still housed a humble but enthusiastic community of wonderful people with equally wonderful, creative minds.

We hope you keep in touch with the friends you’ve made while you were with us.
