for my (gags) Cyberpunk/the sprawl game i want to umm have an interactive city map & searchable database for players to use at session (i think it would be a fun way of creating the atmosphere and immersing them and spare me from having to upload shit to discord, i would use a tablet for this). the database i think i'm just going to use obsidian for that it's so easy to navigate and customizable but i might find something better (my only concern is idk whether you can lock a vault into a viewing only mode even temporarily?). i have literally noooo idea where to make the map or what program to use, my desire is to have it literally function like a google or apple map we use now where locations are marked with little nodes that can be clicked on to expand information about them and i feel like there was historically a program that let you upload maps and do this but i cannot locate it anymore
(insane) Maybe if i learn to code i can make these programs myself and then it will perfectly customizable per my desires
