Hey! What's it like on soap opera nights?

Kakuzu:Crowded. For not having any real forms the ghosts take up a lot of room and patience. Even the idiots join in during our Stories just to pester us and mock the shows. Maybe I should look into salting them all into the basement...

Yes, that just might work.

Sasori: Don’t you dare!

When company comes over to see your new house, does Hidan try to scare them?

Kakuzu: Yes. Every. Single. Time.

Hidan: Only the mailman or Konan- or your fucked up ex. Seriously, why did you even date that dude?

Kakuzu: Mind your own business, Hidan.

((Kakuzu never gets any visitors but when he does, Hidan does a good job of scaring them away. Kakuzu pretends to get upset but to be honest, he doesn't like people coming to his house either. Especially if there’s a two in three chance of them dying on his property.))

Do any of the ghosts seem like they would posses anyone? Either for fun for spite?

Yes, they do. There are some complications and problems with possession so the older ghosts don’t do it anymore, but young ones like Hidan and Deidara have both recently done it.

The only one who has done it in the past year is Orochimaru. He has the habit of possessing past residents and forcing them to hurt themselves and ditching the pain to let the humans wallow in it alone because its fun to see them suffer.

The thing with possessing people is that you can’t possess everyone or sometimes you get addicted. When you possess someone you can feel again. You can feel emotions and pain and pleasure, stuff the ghosts can’t anymore. They can also leave the premises when they are in a human. They will eventually get kicked out, but the more they do it they more its all they can think about and they end up driving the humans insane and getting trapped in a body they can’t control. If that happens, when the humans die they get trapped in limbo for good.

Hidan possessed people very often when he first became a spirit, desperate to leave the property. He believed he could control the human and avoid limbo but he ended up addicted and almost doomed them both. He only stopped when Orochimaru tried to kill the human he was occupying with him in it. After that he refused to possess anymore, even if he does like pranking the humans.

Deidara only jumps into people when he wants to get away or cause mischief, never having gotten addicted like Hidan.

What did the ghosts first think when they met Konan?

Most were just happy there was a hot girl living in the house. (Especially Deidara.) Everyone pretty much respected her and thought she was a brilliant and wonderful individual. They all took a shinning to her quickly, even Hidan gives her room and respects her privacy-something he doesn’t do for the others. The only ghost who doesn’t like her presence is Orochimaru (obviously) and the first thought he had was how great she would look hanging from the chandelier.

Konan doesn’t know that the house is haunted, let alone by her two best friends, but she does feel comforted in it despite what happened. She can’t explain it, and Kakuzu is reluctant to tell her why.

Hey guys, I’m back!

I might not be on all the time, but I will be on at least once or twice a week. My dog ate my tablet pen so I won’t be able to draw any responses for a while (not until i get a new one...) but I will answer your answers in text.

Ghost Kisame... Since a shark was your demise, how do you feel about them? Do you hate them now?

Kisame: Not at all. When I was a kid my mom took me to an aquarium and I was fascinated by the aquatic life. But nothing caught my eyes like the sharks did. They were so strong and powerful and they deserve our respect. They were the main reason I became a marine biologist in the first place. If anything, I'm sort of honored by the way I died. Itachi says I'm just obsessed. Ha, maybe he's right!

Truthfully though, I am a bit more cautious and fearful of them than I was before; but that's only natural. I still love them just as much as when I was seven, probably more. My only regret is that I died in the house and not on the beach where I could interact with the wildlife. Animal planet is cool, but seeing it with your own eyes is much better.

What mischief do Deidara and Hidan get into together? Do they get along better because they died in the modern times?

Kakuzu: More often than not they pull ridiculous pranks around the house, including hiding objects or trying to get in a cheap thrill on me or Konan. Its rather childish. I do have an itching feeling that they are able to relate to each other due to their unpredictable personalizes and young yet modern point of views on things. They may be immature man-children but they are very adaptable and accept things fairly easy.

Profession: Owner of an arts and crafts shop.

Interests: Oragami, reading, and fixing up houses.

Opinion on Kakuzu: She likes him. He’s coarse and sometimes very insensitive, but he’s a good man. He doesn’t mind her lurking around and even has a room set aside just for when she needs it. He’s kind of like a moody and protective uncle or a grouchy, stingy old man she’s been hired to take care of.

Relation with the house: Owner and landlord. She was a previous tenant but moved out when her two roommates died. She spends the night when shes too tired to drive all the way back to her own apartment but visits all the time to check up on the house and her new tenant. She doesn’t want anything bad to happen because she wasn’t observant enough.

GHOST 101 PART ONE: Personal Space.

Each and every ghost has a designated place that is their spot. No one else's. Ghosts may fight over territories, but there is an inescapable pull to that area. The main reason will be explained in more detail in part two of this series.

When ghosts relieve their deaths they are instantly sucked back to that spot when they pop back into the plane of the living. When ghosts 'die' they are pulled back into limbo for a few seconds as their matter fixes itself before its tossed back into their spot.

They do not get to chose this special place, it just is. Usually if it has a significant meaning to a spirit it will automatically connect that way. For example, Zetsu loved gardening so he replenishes there, or Kisame who is at the very gate of the grounds because its as close as the ocean he could get.

Many ghosts like to hang out in their space because they feel comfort in the things they had while they were alive, although others like Nagato and Hidan don't have that luxury. Nagato's reason being that its where he tragically died and Hidan since he has no actual spot.

The only reason a ghost doesn't have a spot is because their spiritual wavelength is so flexible that some of it actually remains in limbo so they are able to pop back anywhere. They have no control of this and also have issues returning from limbo when they are finally sucked back in.

These spirits have the ability to heal without traveling through limbo and reliving their deaths everyday, but they also get tugged into their personal hell for uncertain amounts of times. Some ghosts even get trapped there permanently and go insane, becoming demons. They also are unable to predict when they will be reliving their death and the anxiousness can drive certain spirits to the brink.

Its like an irregular period. You don't know when you'll get it or when it'll end. This condition is very rare and its called Fluctuated Spiritual Wavelength or FSW.

There are people like Orochimaru who have a designated spot but like to take over others while they are able to. For example, his spot is the tree where he was hanged but he doesn't go there to feel better or be alone, he goes to the attic. He also like to kick others out of their places when he's in a sadistic, sour mood. Its all for naught though because no matter HOW hard he tries that spirit will come back in their spot.

Age: 32

Cause of Death: He accidentally overdosed on pain and depression medication while trying to get over a broken heart.

Year of Death: 1993

Background: Obito was always a fun and understanding child who could make up many different persona’s to make others laugh. He used to be an actor but decided comedy was his real passion. His wife and he moved into a house in the city which caught fire when he accidentally left the oven on while he took a nap to recharge after making up a new skit for his upcoming show. His wife didn’t survive but the firefighters were able to drag him out of their home. He suffered burn on the right side of his face as well as a broken heart. He moved into the “mansion” and his life just continued to spiral down. He was diagnosed with severe depression and needed very strong pain medication for the burns. One day he took a little too much of the pain medication in synch with the depression pills for his wounds and died alone on the bathroom floor from an overdose.

Point of view on life after death: Obito used to be a fun guy with a lot to say, but now he believes it was all pointless because he’s trapped in a sad house full of tortured souls. He is slowly beginning to realize he could use his talents to cheer the others up if he plays his cards right.

Personal Space: His space is the bathroom. He barely ever comes out, just sits on the toilet, in the shower or stares at the mirror in grief and guilt.

Interests: He has a weird obsession with ugly ties. He is also a fan of acting, singing, but most of all comedy.

Relations With Other Ghosts: He never bugs anybody and they don’t bother him, even Hidan avoids going into the bathroom because the sorrowful aura he’s cast in there is suffocating.

Opinion on Kakuzu: Obito doesn’t mind Kakuzu and Konan living there as long as they don’t spend too much time in his space. He understands the humans need to use the bathroom, but its also annoying because even if he’s a ghost he finds it gross and unsanitary. He’s starting to realize that Kakuzu is making the house a better place for the spirits to live, so he does appreciate that.

Name: Hidan.

Age: 22

Cause of Death: He was shot by the police for killing Yahiko.

Year of Death: 2011

Background: He was raised in a small enclosure only for cult members and was told his entire life that the more people you kill, the more were send to Lord Jashin’s good graces to be saved from sin, not to mention he’d be rewarded in the afterlife for doing so. He bought it hook line and sinker. Even after he ran away from the cult for holding him down and ruling his life, he still wanted to help people end their suffering and find peace. So when Hidan returned to his religion he took the initiation-killing the residents in the haunted house by the beach.

Point of view on life after death: He regrets believing everything he was told, killing Yahiko, attempting to kill Konan….he feels like this is his punishment. When he had first become a ghost he was horrified and confused as to why he wasn’t with his God but he soon realized what a pile of shit it all was and is lamenting how badly he fucked up for believing in such an impossible thing as a god. He quickly became hateful afterward and is the main reason he is at such a high level of power, especially because he started taking sick pleasure in scaring humans. Now that Kakuzu is around, that behavior is starting to dull down into a mischievous hobby rather than a hurtful obsession.

Personal Space: He doesn’t really have one so he just barges into everyone else’s when he gets lonely or bored.

Interests: He likes horror movies and loud music. Also getting on peoples nerves and frightening humans. Its a secret but he used to like reading books, don’t tell anyone.

Relations With Other Ghosts:Everyone just kinda tolerates him because there’s nothing else they really can do. His relationship with Yahiko is surprisingly good. He feels guilty for killing the guy and avoids him but Yahiko seeks him out and tries to clear the air. They’re dead, might as well get over it. Nagato on the other hand is very spiteful towards Hidan, to the point where its hateful. Deidara and Kisame are the ghosts he’s found with most, however.

Opinion on Kakuzu: He keeps gravitating towards him and he just goes with it, using all his wits to try to prank and frighten the older man. He actually thinks he’s pretty cool-although he’d never admit it.

Level of Power: 6/10
