►Poppy, make the first move on Callum

Poppy was never one for flirting. It was part of the reason he’d failed at romantic training—he could never seem to find the right words to say. But with Callum, things seemed to come much easier. They were curled up on the couch together, Callum in his wolf form and Poppy in his more humanoid one. Their respective owners (roommates? Poppy wasn’t exactly sure what to call Valeria) were off in their bedroom, which were mercifully in the other wing of Valeria’s manor. He nuzzled closer into Callum. The wolf’s fur was soft and fluffy from years of domestication—even if he’d resent the implication that he’d grown soft. Callum shifted into his humanoid form, gently shifting Poppy to accomodate his new shape.

Poppy paused for a moment. He never knew what to say. Finally, he broke their peaceful silence. “I… um… Would you…do you…”

Callum reached over and pet his hair. “Go on,”

Poppy sighed. “I… really like you… um, not as a friend. Different than just friends. I—I mean, I do like you as a friend, but also as—“

Callum kissed him. Poppy jolted in surprise, but then melted into it, leaning into him.

Hey so do y'all understand how revolutionary this is, if this really is what the video indicates, and it probably is since the other horseshoe crab left the moment the problem was resolved.

All of those times when humans desperately tried portraying arthropods as nothing more than mindless, worthless, inferior automata are being obliterated with the power of a thousand suns (as they should) because this horseshoe crab demonstrated empathy and altruism. And the metaphorical sun is the bright little individual that is this crab.

7- What's one thing that really turns you on?

It takes a minute before Felix decides on just one thing. When he finally does, he takes a sip of whatever concoction he's brought with him before answering. "I like it when they're focused. Brian's cute when he's working on his robots. Just hunched over them, so desperate to make them work. Could you blame me for dragging him away from them?" Another sip. Felix glances across the room, his eyes hungry. "That new bartender is the same way."

8- What's an immediate turn off for you?

"Wanting to be called mommy," he answers plainly, too quickly. He refuses to make eye contact until the topic changes.

15- What was the best sex you've had?

A grin spreads across Felix's cheeks as he leans back, reminiscing. "From what I remember, it was late. Brian was asleep when I got home, but I didn't mind. He woke up eventually, but at that point, I was already inside him. It's mostly a blur after that, but I remember him begging, that and the way he cried... that part was unforgettable."

It all tumbles out one afternoon. Lucia and her had been snapping at each other all day, over stupid shit. After Lucia returned from sulking in her room, Saffron finally snapped.

“Do you really think this is fair?”

Lucia faltered. “What?”

“This. All your stupid outbursts. You’re always bitching about something to me.”

“Easy for you to say,” Lucia began, “you’re not trying to maintain some authority over--”

“Easy? You think that this--this is easy for me? You think you have it harder?”

“That’s not--”

“After everything you’ve fucking done to me?!”

“Saffron--”

“No. No, you don’t get to fucking interrupt me, Lucia. I have saved your ass more times than I can count. I have taken so many fucking beatings from your mom and Lucian so that you didn’t have to. You’ve never thanked me for the shit I do for you because deep down you fucking expect me to. You expect me to roll over and be a good fucking guard dog because that’s all you see me as.”

“I don’t…”

“You’ve never, never, considered what I wanted. I’ve lost everything for you and you don’t even care. I haven’t seen my family, my home, anything since Lucian captured me and you’ve never even bothered to ask me about my life. Do you even fucking know my village’s name? My last name? Anything about me before I was yours?” She snarls. “You don’t fucking care about me, but I have to care about you. How is that fair?”

Lucia is silent the rest of the evening.
