Welcome!

[I’m Nelvana, Nel for short, or Lucky, and I use she/her pronouns! This is a side blog to @nelvana, so I follow and like from there.

This is a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity ask blog that takes place in the postgame of GtI, in a timeline where the other PMD games do not exist. The main characters are Linn, the human-turned pikachu (she/her), and Meeko the oshawott (he/him), of Team Impulse; they are my version of the protagonist team of GtI!

This blog is story-based, but non-plot asks are always welcome. Interactions are allowed, preferably from other PMD or Pokemon world only based blogs. No crossover interactions or interactions with human characters.

Updates whenever I have the time and energy to.

Rules:

No NSFW content allowed, anything not SFW that is sent in will be deleted.

No random asks, no one word/action asks, and no magic asks.

No conflict-seeking asks.

Preferably no flirting asks, especially depending on the character’s age (Linn and Meeko are both minors).

Don’t request to have one of your characters join Team Impulse.

Don’t try to control my characters, including how they will react to your ask.

We have a few leads: - Spamton, the delivery Pelipper for our team, seems to have some connection with Mike. - Mike is definitely in need of rescuing. - I recently met Mike in a dream, and they were some sort of crystal turtle.

Linn, besides Virizion, Keldeo, and Kyurem, have you ever met any other legendary or mythical Pokemon? Which one would you want to meet most?

I don’t know if regional forms exist in your canon of GTI, but if Linn and Meeko were to reach their final evolutions, what forms would they have?

[Regional forms do exist! I do think they'd both have the "classic" forms of their evolution lines though.

For Meeko, Hisuian samurott are, well, extinct. Samurott have changed to the modern day Unovan kind, and both the environmental and biological requirements to evolve into the Hisuian form are no longer met. It would be cute, as a fun little headcanon, to say that Meeko has some Hisuian ancestry, leading to the eventual dark-type egg move.

As for Linn, it's a bit trickier, since she was a human first and foremost. Is her pikachu body made with a Kantoian or Alolan evolution in mind? The psychic-type could certainly fit her personality, if given the choice... Though, it could also lead to overstimulation. For simplicity, and also simply because I've always pictured her as a Kantoian raichu, she won't be going for the Alolan route when she evolves.]

And, yes, this does technically make Lilligant an iterative species in my universe. As for the history behind this science, I'll probably cover it in a future comic since it's more or less another bit of worldbuilding I'd like to tackle]

"Yeah, that's me!" Burhalla said, pointing to himself. "Been something I wanted to do for a while, ever since Team Sunset helped me! Rescuing Saltriv and Gen convinced me to actually do it!"

Linn, what happened to the frism that carried the voices of your friends as Hydreigon took you back to the human world? Were you able to take it with you?

Well it... Huh, I guess I hadn't really thought about it, but it never did make it back with me, even though my bandana made the trip. That would make it the only object that wasn't successfully taken between the human world and the pokemon one. Wonder why that is...

As mysterious as that is though... I don't think I'll linger on that for too long unless it happens again; I don't really want to have to listen back on... such a sad time; they really wanted to leave me with a happy last message, but it'll always be bittersweet.

(@asking-paradise) Linn@Wil & Cath: "You two seem to have an interesting dynamic; how'd you meet?"

While Wil and Cath are touring in the studios, they see a Pikachu.

“Hi! You wanna know how we met? Alright.

We met 10 or so years ago, when we were in school. Wil was a Sneasel back then.”

“We sat together at the desk. We had a chit chat after the class. We also exchanged our phone numbers in the end.

And our friendship has begun. Right, Wily?”

Wil looks gloomy. Cath curiously looks at him.

“Yea, honestly, I kinda don’t want to talk about my past when I was a Sneasel…”

“Why?”

“I'll tell you later, when the timing is right.”

Cath starts to get gloomy too.

Wil is not very comfortable with his past as Sneasel.

(@asking-paradise) Meeko@Catherine: "That nidoking was really mean! You don't deserve that; I've met a lot of angry 'mons who just say bad stuff cause they think it'll make themselves feel better, it's not your fault. Do you know what his deal was?"

[Catherine looks down to the ground.]

[Catherine, worried] "Alex. He..."

[She takes a deep breath, and then glances at the Oshawott, slightly turning her head, but not enough to look at him in the eyes.]

[Catherine, worried] "We used to be friends..."

[She grabs her bow and holds onto it.]

[Catherine, worried] "But, he was also really against me evolving..."

[She takes another deep breath before speaking again.]

[Catherine, worried] "He said... I would 'become a monster' if I did..."

[She is reminded of a past event, and she flinches a bit. Afterwards, she grabs her arms, like she's hugging herself.]

[Catherine, worried] "I'm sorry. What happened back then is something I don't like to think about."

[She looks down at the ground again.]

[Catherine, thoughts] "(I wish it didn't happen.)"

[Catherine, worried] "Right. That's right. I don't need him anymore. I have better friends now."

[She takes a deep breath.]

[Catherine, nervous] "Like Elise and Sophie. They mean more to me than he does."

[She clenches her bow with her right hand.]

[Catherine, nervous] "It hurts when someone I once knew as a friend become so... mean towards me... but all I can do is move on."

[She takes another deep breath.]

[Catherine, thoughts] "(It's for the best... I'm better off without him.)"
