The Stand

So many people of faith are finding themselves in a spiral of fear and anxiety because they didn’t realize that they had placed so much faith in this false security they though they had only to find out that in the matter of days all the constructs they’d relied upon fell apart. People flocked to the store some believers and some not, they ran in droves clearing shelves of all manner of items, they know deep down that these things wont keep them safe but they are so used to looking to the world for comfort that they feel like surrounding themselves with worldly items will keep them from whats happening. Psalm 88:2-3 Let my prayer enter into your presence. Turn your ear to my cry. For my soul is full of troubles. My life draws near to Sheol. This prayer is one of urgency. The language is that of a person afraid and disparate, terrified. The experience is like when we were scared as children and ran to the arms of whomever made you feel safe. Do we pray like this? Do we run from the world to the comfort of our saviors arms? Or do we try to tough it out? Until we're worn out, freaked out and on the verge of collapse. Why do we wait till that point to go to God? Do we not want his help? Do we not believe he can help us or worse, that he can but he won't want to help us? The answer to that is one you will have to examine for yourself but the possible answers I was able to imagine really opened my eyes to the fact that we really should, as an immediate reaction, like a child when the loud thunder crashes immediately runs for mom and dads room, we should run to our father at the first sign of trouble. We don't need to come to God in pieces. We need to know that he can help he wants to help and that if we would make God out first resort instead of our last, we won't find ourself in despair. #pray #Jesus #comfort #love #victory

Last week I prayed for us to be able to bring a double portion to the people of Phoenix. I know all the while he'd answer, in the book of James it says when you ask for something do so believing that God will hear your prayer and I definitely believed. What didn't expect the overwhelming way in which he'd answer. He didn't just provide for this week he provided for next week and probably even a week or two beyond that. He provided excellent opportunities to love on people pray for people and show them God loves them. God also provided the spirit of leadership and boldness within our volunteers. Everyone was and has always been great, today just seemed like there was such a flow everyone worked so well together everyone was taking care of people praying for people together and separate, just seeing to the needs of Gods children. It was beautiful. I thank God for everyone one of the volunteers and for all the people we get to meet and love on. #Amen #prayer #love #God #Jesus #homeless #hungry #faith #outreach

Exited to be heading out for the 10th week to bring food, water, supplies and of course the love of Christ to the homeless in Phoenix. It's a glorious experience and the whole team is growing in faith and love everyday. God is moving in a big way and we're all very happy and exited to be a part of it. I'd like to invite anyone who might be able to do so, to donate any items of clothing they may have. In good shape and clean. As we are starting to get ready for the fall and winter coming soon. The most needed items are socks, shirts, blankets, shoes, towels but anything is useful and will make it into the hands of someone who needs it. James 1:2-3 Profiting from Trials 2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. Imagine a boxer, training their whole lives to be the best bit when they're offered a title fight they complain and are offended. "Why does this other person want to fight with me? What did I do to deserve this? Someone save me." This isn't an accurate picture at all. When a fighter is offered that tile bout they're excited to have been recognized as being good enough and strong enough to compete at the highest level and with the strongest competitors. Count it joy when you're being outright attacked by the devil? Absolutely! You've been chosen and counted worthy to fight for the living God, against the toughest competitors and for the biggest prize ever. Count it joy church. #joy #fight #Christ #Jesus #warfare

Week 8 is in the books. We have been able to give out nearly 2,500 bottles of water over 1,000 lbs of ice and supply almost 800 meals. We've given out dozens of bibles and hundreds of prayers and we have seen time and time again that the enemy is a liar. The lord is doing major work in these streets and the enemy is fighting hard to keep us from our appointed and anointed calling. Today we gave out 80 sandwiches in 5 minutes... and we prayed for every single one of those people. I'm trusting God that next week will be the biggest week yet. We normally bring 100-125 meals but this week I'm trusting God for 250+ we normally bring 300 bottles of water but this week I'm trusting God for 600 i m trusting him for double what we normally bring and I'm trusting him to guide us as we pray for and lead to Christ double and triple and beyond what we ever have before. It's time to be a bold church it's time to give, to donate, to pray. The battle is on and the people in the streets are crying out for God and they are seeing his faithfulness as we bring them his love and his word. Join us. A word for our time and the church There has been a shaking in the church. The world has risen up against the body of Christ and it has been allowed. attacks of all kinds and in all areas. starting small and gaining in intensity and severity. It is only when something is truly threatened that we give our all to protect it and prove to ourselves as well as to those around, just where our intentions and loyalties lay. just how committed we are. God has risen up a generation of Leaders who were forged not appointed who have battle hardened faith. leaders that are faithful both collectively and independently. their fire doesn't go out in the wind or the rain. whether they burn in unison or solitude. He has cleared the debris because the new harvest is coming at the end of a sword. They will be won because they will see that the warfare is real. and they will see that only he has the power to be victorious over the forces that oppress them. The world has become terrified of itself. the world has come to a place where they don't know who they are they don't recognize what they see and they can't associate themselves with anything cause nothing looks familiar to them and they are crying out to be reminded of who they are. I see the saints of God walking and emanating light through the darkness with demons congregating and hissing at the perimeter of that light. The people we seek to save are within that darkness and so we must stand together and combine our light to destroy the darkness and free Gods people.We must all unite and combine and become one church with no colors and no genders It's time for battle and we are ready. Let me tell you how good God is... I spent all week worried that I didn't have enough things to bring out this week. When everyone arrived we just kept loading and loading and it seemed unreal how much we had. We got our wonderful donation from Full Circle Help and we were in our way. On the trip to the outreach our conversation was all about the various ways the enemy had attacked all of us this past week. Illness, tiredness, family trouble, work trouble, the enemy pulled out all the stops. We all chose, however, to be faithful and we all saw just what the devil was trying to keep us home this week. We met a new brother Gary Erran who came and helped us and provided us a shade that helped everyone. Out of nowhere and I mean nowhere at al when we ran out of food to give a Pizza Hut truck shows up and gave us about 20 pizzas, breadsticks and wings to give out and more than that they said we could get more every week. Totally amazing! And the biggest best thing of all 2 women gave their lives to Christ this morning. The devil had a plan and Gods plan was bigger! Thank you lord Jesus for your faithfulness. And there More coming we are making some arrangements to do even more things out there for Gods children. Tomorrow is the 7th Saturday that we will be able to, through God's provision, bring food and supply's to the homeless in Phoenix. This week I wanna do something just a little differently. We always pray over the food and supply's we give out but tonight I wanna ask all of you to join us in praying over the food, water and supplies we're bringing out, that they may nourish and make strong those whom receive it. That the love of Jesus would be felt and his name be glorified and that the people would receive their salvation in all ways. In Jesus name AMEN! Here's a few more pics from today's outreach taken by one of our volunteers. Some one was sick today on the street. It's actually not uncommon that we see people out there pass out cause of heat exhaustion and need medical assistance. There has even been people pass away in this same area from dehydration, heat exhaustion and exposure. We are al glad that today this person ended up being ok. It's a serious situation out there. Only had time to get one picture out on the street today of a thirsty pup getting some water. It was a fast paced busy day. We gave out 100 sandwiches, a little less than 300 bottles of water, 120 lbs of ice and dozens of socks, toothbrushes, towels, hats, umbrellas and bibles. We had our awesome Bluetooth speaker out with us today playing some great music and we got to be a blessing. We prayed with people and we loved on people and we even had someone give us a gift. She didn't need to but it was really important to her to show us her appreciation. Ephesians 1: 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love This simple verse, often missed is one of the most inspiring statements of love in existence. We get the impression that God made the earth and then made us to put here. To use the space or that he creates us on an assembly line or in the moment and then sits back sort of disappointed that it didn't turn out better. We allow ourselves to believe these things because we are disappointed in ourselves. This verse here tells us that God, before there was an earth had you in mind. Perfectly designed to precise specifications, totally loved and already with a plan for you that you would be loved by him. This love for you was Gods inspiration to them create reality so that you would have a place to live. Gods #endless and #pure #love is the driving force behind the creation of all things and he doesn't love us because he has no option or because it's the best he has, he loved us into existence. Live in that love, don't let another moment pass without it in you're life. We all have a #God shaped piece #missing from the puzzle that is us, I pray that today we let that piece in and let God make us complete.
