Not the same articles but sugar cravings as far as I see with me and all of my adhd family and friends is a VERY common thing amongst us and candy falls into that having a high sugar content and all and the link I dropped with the article talks about sugar and glucose cravings in there
Also the video lecture mentions blood sugar correlation at 9:14 but recommends consuming sugar and glucose in liquid form which works better like Gatorade and such and I heard it's a better alternative to candy
