I my sexual orientation is straight but I'm having trouble finding my romantic orientation; I romantically like girls like I'd date and kiss a girl but never have sex with one. But I'd romantically like boys and sexually like them. What do I do? ( female, 13 )

You don’t have to do anything, my sweet child, you’re perfect the way you are~ <3 Your romantic and sexual orientations don’t have to match up, they don’t for many people. You could be heterosexual and bi(pan/etc)romantic, and that’s wonderful! I’m so proud of you for digging deep into yourself and figuring out all of these things~ Many people are too afraid to even try.

Before, I thought I was asexual. Then, I realized female porn turns me on where male porn does nothing. Am I bisexual? I am still romantically attracted to guys, but I'm open to the idea of dating a girl. I'm just so confused right now and kind of scared tbh. Please help me clear this up. If I'm just a weird-ass, confused straight girl, please don't judge me.

Do not worry little one, you don’t have to know exactly who you are so early in your life, but I do very much understand the desire to figure yourself out. You could still be asexual even if you get turned on, many asexual people find themselves aroused regardless of their sexuality. It just depends on if you find yourself sexually attracted to actual people~ And you can always identify as the ace spectrum, there are lots of different categories that may be worth a look!

If you find yourself more romantically interested in boys but you are still attracted to girls, you might just have a strong preference for boys. Or you might not, it just takes time to figure these things out~
