Nagi was on the verge of giving up. It was much too cold to be outside anymore and she was tired and lonely… ‘Nagi-chan!!! Nagi-chan?’ Huh? Was that…?

“Tsunayoshi!!” She cried, making her way towards the voice, shivering and her teeth chattering. Not looking out, her foot hit a rock and she flew forward into a snow bank, her cry muffled by the soft snow. “Ubwahh!” She cried.

“Suuure you didn’t lose her. Doesn’t Tsu lose everything? Or break it?” Snickering at the younger boy, he watched as he desperately looked for the girl.

Huh? He could have sworn he heard a girls voice just now. That was answered quickly as a short girl fell flew into a snow bank. Chuckling he pointed at the snow bank. “Found her.”

“B-be quiet!!” He shouted at the prince, gritting his teeth as tears formed at the corner of his eyes. “So what if I’m bad at everything!?” He turned around quickly and wiped his eyes.

He blinked, looking up. “Found her?” Obviously forgetting his short fit of rage, he whipped his head around, until he heard the faint sobbing of the girl. Spotting her, he let out a distressed cry, and dashed over. “Nagi-chan! Nagi-chan, are you okay?? Don’t cry!” He knelt down next to her and rubbed her back tenderly.

Nagi found herself blubbering and sobbing once she sat up in the snow bank. She was already way too cold, but now her entire body was covered in snow. "Ts-Tsunayoshi..." She sniffled and wiped her eyes before she saw the boy in front of her. He got down and rubbed her back. The girl sniffled again before shivering again. "I-It's really c-cold..." She stuttered, her teeth chattering hard.

Nagi attempted to make her way back, but she didn’t know the area all that well. Especially covered in snow, it made the whole area unrecognizable. Not to mention that the snow was starting to come down even harder and she couldn’t see over her big black scarf very well. A cool wind passed by her, causing her to shiver even more, making her teeth chatter. “C-Cold…” She murmured, searching for Tsunayoshi as best she could.

Snickering he rolled his eyes at the brunette. He really didn’t notice someone walking towards him? When Tsu fell back on his butt he had to keep himself from rolling his eyes again at the other’s clumsiness. “The prince was bored so he went to the park. Why are you here?”

“Nagi? No, who is she?” Looking over to where the brunette was motioning to he scoffed then looked back at him confused. Beru smiled as he saw the panic cross the other boy’s features. “Lose someone?”

He pouted, wanting to protests the laughs but stayed quiet about it. “I came here to play with Nagi-chan but…” He looked around again, squinting as best he could through the thickening snow. He puffed his cheeks out. “Nagi-chan is the girl with long hair and she doesn’t show her eye a lot like Beru.” Tsu said in attempts to describe her. “I-I didn’t lose her!! S-she.. she lost me! T-that’s right!” He looked around more, not even trying to act casual. “Nagi-chan!!! Nagi-chan?”

Nagi had decided to go and spend the day with Tsuna, not having any other plans. Her mother was at a party, so she managed to sneak away without any issues. The only problem was, Tsuna had just lost his white glove in the snow. Nagi tried her best to look for it as well, until her friend ended up face first in the snow. The girl giggled softly, finding his slight pout to be a bit cute.

“Don’t worry… I’ll help you find it, okay?” She smiled nicely before turning and trailing back a little ways, before finding the glove. It was camouflaged in a little bit of snow, but her eyes managed to ”Tsunayoshi! I found your glove!” She shouted before realizing that she had lost him. Fear reached her eyes as she shivered, biting her lip. “Ts-Tsunayoshi…?”

Walking towards the pair he watched as the brunette dug around frantically. What did he lose..? Judging by the glove-less hand he assumed that’s what he lost. He choked on his laughter as the brunette face-planted into the snow. How does he achieve that from a sitting position?

Shaking his head he continued towards the two, seeing as the girl walked away a bit. What was she doing? Shrugging he looked away from her and walked beside Tsu, snickering. “Ushishi~ Long time no see.” He glanced back to where the girl was only to have to do a double take when she was no longer in sight.

“Hiie!” He screeched from the sudden voice. That couldn’t have been Nagi-chan. It was too not sweet and devilish for her. He fell back again on his butt. “Owwie…” Looking up, he saw the prince standing above him. He felt like an idiot, most of his clothes wet from snow and shivering in front of royalty! He scrambled to his feet.

“P-prince Beru! H-hi! Wh-what are you doing here?” He asked with wide eyes. “Hey, you remember Nagi-chan, right?” He asked with a smile, motioning to his side to nobody. Recieving a confused look, he looked to where Nagi-chan once was and began to frantically panic. ”Oh no oh no! I lost my glove and Nagi-chan!?? Oh no. Oh no….” He looked around, beginning to call out for the purple-haired girl.

Sitting on a park bench as it snowed Beru shivered involuntarily. It was the holidays, just a few days till Christmas, and he didn’t know what to do, or who to spend it with. Sighing he watched his breath form in front of his face. It was a cold winter, but at least there was snow on the ground for Christmas.

Slowly standing, he turned to walk away, hoping that maybe he’d find something to do for the day. But as soon as he turned he saw a couple of familiar looking figures not too far off in the distance. Well, maybe he wouldn’t be bored today after all.

“Oh no—” The small boy muttered to himself, sitting on his knees and digging around frantically in the snow. “Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no…” He had chosen the perfect day to wear those white gloves that Prince Hayato gave him, only to have lost them in the snow. Now his hand was freezing as he shoved some of the ice aside, looking for the clothing article that was supposed to keep his hand warm.

“Ah, is it there?” He asked, leaning forward, only to anticlimactically lose his balance and fall face first into the snow. After a moment of sitting with his cheeks numbed by the freezing snow, he sat up and let out a little whine of despair. Remembering Nagi-chan was beside him, he ceased his whining and stood up, brushing himself off. “I… can’t find my glove…” He said to her, giving his best attempt to not pout.

Hiatus

I'm going to take a break for a little bit. Sorry :(

I recently got my wisdom teeth removed and now the drugs have made me a little sick. I'll hopefully be back next week sometime.

Tsuna gave Nagi a small chuckle. “It’s really not that bad once you get to talking to them!! What about we play together with my friend Yuni? I think you’d really like her. She’s 10, so she’s not all thaaat much older dan us!” He beamed. He put his arm down to support his weight on it and lean back just slightly. Sighing a bit, he let out a small though insincere laugh. “Hahaha… me neither. I think Prince Hayato went back to Italy… and… well, I haben’t seen Kyou too often either. Maybe last week? But I only barely got to say ‘Hi I miss you’ before he left again.” He scratched the back of his head shyly. “He don’t stick around to have conversations with me like you do. It kinda… sucks.” He shrugged, averting his eyes to the side.

“M-math?? Really? I don’t even know how to add yet!!” Tsu said incredulously. He giggled at how her eyes sparkled at the brochure, giving it to her for her to examine. “Uhhuh! We sure can go!” He grinned happily. “Do you have a swimsuit?”

Nagi smiled. “Yuni… That’s a very pretty name… I-I’m kind of jealous.” The girl giggled before looking kind of sad. “T-Tsunayoshi…” Gulping, Nagi bit her lip, at little concerned. Tsuna seemed really upset and missed Kyou very much. But she decided to keep quiet because she didn’t want to ruin their day together. Perhaps she would comfort him a bit later.

Nagi suddenly became quiet. That’s what they were wearing in the anime… swimsuits… “N-No…” Obviously the girl wasn’t thinking.

Tsuna smiled. “Nagi is a pretty name too, you know.” He smiled. “And of course Yuni has a pretty name! I think she’s secretly a princess, but she don’t wanna tell me. It’s like how you’re secretly an angel. Nobody tells me things anymore.” He laughed playfully, although he was completely sincere about what he said (about Yuni being a princess and Nagi being an angel). He tilted his head and looked at Nagi innocently.

Tsuna laughed. “Hehe, that’s ok!! I might have something for you to wear back home? Maybe you can wear one of my swimsuits!” He grinned happily. Obviously he didn’t know that that would be inappropriate, but his mother would correct him later on that.

Nagi turned a bright red colour. “A-Ah… Th-Thank you Tsunayoshi… B-But I’m pretty sure I-I’m not an angel… Th-That would make me dead, a-and I don’t want to be dead…” Smiling, Nagi giggled. “W-Well let’s get going! I-I’m so excited! And Mai-chan will have fun too! I hope you have a swim suit for me. M-My mother will be very upset if I-I get this outfit ruined…”

“Oh… that’s right… Maybe you’re just a living angel! That must be it.” He was determined for no particular reason. What a cutie.

“Hehehe, it’s no problem! Let’s go to my house so the we can change and pack some towels!!” He crawled out back into the blistering hot sun, offering a hand to Nagi to follow him.

Nagi turned a bright red again. "A-Ah... You're too sweet to me Tsunayoshi... Y-You're the bestest." The girl gave him a friendly kiss on the cheek. Before taking his hand and walking towards his house, Mai-chan following close behind. "H-How is your mother Tsunayoshi?"

Little did he know, most people talked to him because he was a small version of the Vongola Tenth. Or they were just utterly being pedo on Tsu because he’s tiny and cute. Or both. “But maybe we should go and make friends together!! Hehehe that would be fun right??” He grinned. He blushed slightly, and simply raised a hand to pet her violet hair. “You’re my bestest friend in da whole world Nagi-chan!” He said. “And your hair is really soft, like a kitty’s. I just thought I would let you know.” He giggled, continuing to pet her.

“Yay! Nagi-chan is gonna make really pretty music, almost as pretty as herself, and then one day, maybe Nagi-chan and Prince Hayato are gonna make really pretty music together with de piano and de violin.” He smiled, painting the picture he saw in his mind. “Ohhh.. school during the summer? Like summer school?” He frowned. He didn’t like summer school.

“O-oh, okay, that’s good! Then it would fine to go with me!” He grinned. “So!! Here’s my plan because today’s a hot day—” He pulled the swimming pool brochure out from behind him, holding it straight out in front of him for Nagi to see, “—we can go to the pool together!!” He was secretly hoping that Nagi-chan knew how to swim or something like that because he sure didn’t know how to.

Nagi turned red and gulped, suddenly very shy. “I-I don’t think I-I would be able… to t-talk to them… I-I get really nervous around p-people older than me…” The issue that the girl had was she thought that every adult was like her mother or step-father, and they weren’t the best people. “Ohhh… Hayato? I-I haven’t seen him for quite some time… I haven’t seem anyone besides you…” She looked down a bit.

“Yeah… I’m not liking studying all summer. I-It’s either violin or math… This hasn’t been a very fun summer…” Nagi suddenly gasped when she noticed the brochure for the pool. “A-A pool!” She had never been to a pool before, but she had seen it in anime before and it looked like so much fun. “O-Oh Tsunayoshi, can we go? Please, please?!”

Nagi’s eyes widened. “F-Future selves? Cool people? I-It sounds like you are making a lot of friends Tsunayoshi! I’m so very happy for you!” Smiling widely she giggled. Tsunayoshi finally seemed to be getting out of his shell and meeting new people. She was so happy for him. “N-No… I haven’t met anyone over the summer. M-my mother put me in violin classes over the summer and put me in a cwam school. I-It was already trouble to get over here. B-But I don’t regret it! I wanted to see Tsunayoshi again!”

“Uhhuh!! It is super cool!” He grinned happily. “But all the new people I meet aren’t really my age. Most of them are older. There’s this one girl that I play with, but she’s like 10 so she’s still older dan Tsu. And… well there are these two other girls I met! One of them hangs out at de park, and de other one is a fishy.” He said. Thinking about it, all the people he’s been meeting around his age are either himself or girls. To believe he was shy about talking to girls, when he’s talking about it so freely like this! He shrugged the thoughts off.

“Aww… you haven’t? Ooh… that sounds kinda cool, though. Can you play Tsu something on the violin later?” He asked with a smile. “C-cwam… school? What’s that?” There were different types of school other than the public local ones? No way!! “Ah… I hope you’re not in too much trouble Nagi-chan?” He asked with wide concerned eyes. He smiled lightly at her next comment, though worried nonetheless.

“O-Older people? W-Wow! That’s very impressive Tsunayoshi! I-I can’t make any friends… Y-You should teach me…” She smiled and laid her head on his shoulder. “Y-You’re my only friend… W-Well human friend…”

Nagi giggled at his question, and grinned. “I-I’m not very good yet… But if you r-really want to, then I’ll play you something once I get better. W-Well it might be c-cram school, b-but I think cwam sounds cuter. It’s pretty much a school during summer… It isn’t very fun because we don’t even have gym or music or anything! I-I don’t think I’m in trouble… I-I sure hope not!”

“Wow… Since when did it get so hot?” Nagi murmured, wandering down the street, sweat dripping down her forehead. She had a white tee-shirt and a light pink skirt on with black sandal, and she was still hot. Though, she had to feel bad for Mai-chan, she was probably most hot under all that fur. Searching the playground, she tried to spot Tsunayoshi. He had invited her to the park and had an idea of what to do today to cool off. ‘His idea better work…’ Nagi thought, still scouring the playground.

“Nagi-chan, Nagi-chan!” He called excitedly. “Over here!” He peeked his head out from his cool little hiding spot under the playground. “It’s shady under here, come on over!” He invited her over, popping his head back inside the cool shade.

He sat in a simply white tank top and some baby blue shorts. Rocking back and forth excitedly, he dug the little brochure out of his pocket to make sure that it was still there. It was a information sheet about the local pool, when it was open and closed and the prices and such like that. He put it down beside him, waiting for Nagi-chan to come join him under the playground.

Nagi stiffened when she heard a voice calling her over. She ran over to find Tsuna in a spot under some shade. “Tsunayoshi!” She moved under the shade as well, hugging him tight. Mai-chan was just as enthusiastic. “I-I missed you a lot…” She murmured before pulling away. It was way too hot to clutch onto Tsuna. “It’s so hot, huh? H-How has your summer been so far?”

He giggled as she appeared, hugging her back tightly before letting go. Scratching Mai-chan behind the ears, he grinned. “I missed you lots too!” He smiled. “It’s been really good! I’ve met lots of cool people. Like, I’ve met a lot of my future selves! None of them were robots though.” He muttered, a little disheartened. Although, he brightened again. “How about you, Nagi-chan? How’s your summer been? Made any new friends? Meet any future yous yet??”

Nagi's eyes widened. "F-Future selves? Cool people? I-It sounds like you are making a lot of friends Tsunayoshi! I'm so very happy for you!" Smiling widely she giggled. Tsunayoshi finally seemed to be getting out of his shell and meeting new people. She was so happy for him. "N-No... I haven't met anyone over the summer. M-my mother put me in violin classes over the summer and put me in a cwam school. I-It was already trouble to get over here. B-But I don't regret it! I wanted to see Tsunayoshi again!"

“Wow… Since when did it get so hot?” Nagi murmured, wandering down the street, sweat dripping down her forehead. She had a white tee-shirt and a light pink skirt on with black sandal, and she was still hot. Though, she had to feel bad for Mai-chan, she was probably most hot under all that fur. Searching the playground, she tried to spot Tsunayoshi. He had invited her to the park and had an idea of what to do today to cool off. ‘His idea better work…’ Nagi thought, still scouring the playground.

“Nagi-chan, Nagi-chan!” He called excitedly. “Over here!” He peeked his head out from his cool little hiding spot under the playground. “It’s shady under here, come on over!” He invited her over, popping his head back inside the cool shade.

He sat in a simply white tank top and some baby blue shorts. Rocking back and forth excitedly, he dug the little brochure out of his pocket to make sure that it was still there. It was a information sheet about the local pool, when it was open and closed and the prices and such like that. He put it down beside him, waiting for Nagi-chan to come join him under the playground.
