Can there be a blog like fanpro-randomizer but its the fanpro ask blog randomizer and there will be a promo post for every blog and when you want to ask someone something but can’t think of who to ask you can just click “random” and then go Oh that person looks cool lets talk to them. I dunno its an idea because Its hard to get asks for my #0019 blog and I think that’s because exposure or something

I’m not going to set one up right away but if no one else does I probably will. In the meantime here’s how I’d set it up, feel free to take these ideas and use them in the blog:

Any askblogs active in the tags can have their first post (like the ‘askbox is open’ post) reblogged and tagged with the participating fanpro numbers and ‘entry####’ Any askblogs that haven’t been active can contact the blog to get promo’d, or can submit their own promo post.

The blog will utilize the same kind of widget from random.org since tumblr’s random post is dumb as heck. This is where ‘entry####’ comes in. Each promo post will have a number assigned to it in order they were added, so the widget can pick one of the entries and all you have to do is enter the entry number in the tag search url. Example: number gen picks 112, you then tagsearch ‘entry112’ and it’ll give you the blog that you can ask.

To assist askers, the blog can also post/reblog those long question lists so that askers who want to participate can also find questions to ask. Tagged on the blog as ‘questions’

Obviously the one running the blog should be fairly active but multiple admins can certainly assist in upkeep.
