Lux stood beside Banana, measurably calmer.

“Anyways,” she spoke smoothly, clearly much less worried than Banana, “I figured we do it in our room. My bed’s big.” She paused, checking her nails, before correcting herself.

“I-I mean, obviously you all are sleeping on the floor! I was just… saying.” Lux had to really convince herself she was just uhhh… flexing, by saying that.

“We’ll deal with that alarm the morning, it’s already late.” She shrugged, “whatever it is, it can’t be too important.”

"Last time I heard the emergency alarm, someamongi managed to get stuck in the cogwheels of one of our engines, getting mangled.."

*Pink slowly stops talking,*

"..Probably dont wanna hear that, got it."

*Pink stood up from their chair, honestly their usual resting place, and slowly walked over to their crewfriends. ..crewfriends!?*

*They couldnt get the thought of something bad happening out of their mind, but.. someamongi actually invited them somewhere.. who are they to decline, work can wait.*

"Sleeping on the floor isnt optimal for.. obvious.. reasons, is there gonna be any alternative or..?"

I LOVE SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR! MIRA GAVE ME A “I LOVE MIRA” BLANKET AND PILLOW!! THATS ALL I SLEE- ohhh that explains why my back hurts sometimes!! BUT IF ANYONE NEEDS TO SLEEP ON THE FLOOR I CAN! I mean it would be nice..to sleep on the ground with eachother..BUT I CAN BE THE DESIGNATED…UH..GROUND SLEEPER!

[Banana grabs both Pink and Lux’s hands and raises them kinda like a referee does when someone wins at boxing but instead it’s to signify..crew-friend-mate-ship DEFINITELY NOT CREW-LOVE-MATE-SHIP!!..Yep! Banana it’s platonic as CO-WORKERS!]

[Banana now is slightly nervous and slightly blushing]

Lux looked between them and scoffed. “I will not touch someone who sleeps on the ground. Ew.” She dragged the two’s hands so that all three crashed together.

“You two are both sleeping in my bed,” She raised her nose, “you will finally experience actual luxury. You’re welcome.”

*Pink immediately became flushed at the sudden contact, borderline blushing. The hand holding, crashing toghether.. bit too much for them, but they'll live through it.. probably.*

"Like, actually sharing ONE bed?" *Pink asks nervously,* "I dont think you're even allowed to enter another amongis room for extended periods of time, let alone sleep in the same bed!" *Pink rants slightly angrily, before calming down,*

"..Nobody has to know."

Luxury Banana scoffed, still holding their hands firmly, the three of them still pressed together. “Who cares if it isn’t approved? It will be, I’ll threaten them with a 1 star rating.”

She looked between the two of them, “If they find out. Which they won’t.”

The medbay door slid open, revealing Luxury Banana standing behind them. She looked tired. Then again, most people on the Skeld looked more tired than usual these days.

“Hey,” she stepped inside, rubbing her eyes as the door shut behind her.

*Pink slid across the floor WITH THEIR CHAIR to a nearby stretcher, adjusting it lower so it makes a makeshift chair/sofa/therapy bed/ bed. Its surprising that pink would automatically do something like this, honestly, they care too much..*

Lux watched over the making of the makeshift bed, before making her way over to it and sitting down next to Pink, closer than necessary for coworkers or for friends.

“How uh..,” her voice wavered for the first time Pink had heard, “how are you?” Her gaze fell down to her hands, which rested on her lap.

Lux Banana sat on top of her toilet lid, her breathing shallow and exhausted. Her pajama pants laid on the bathroom floor, discarded. She pressed wadded toilet paper against her thigh. She had told herself she wouldn’t do this anymore, just last night she had sworn it, but so much for that.

Luxury Banana has tried to ignore all of this when it happened the first time. It reminded her too much of the things she had fought to forget. But now, two more crewmates were dead. She had never talked to Ethan, no, but she had interacted with Mint Green once, when she had first boarded the ship. She had been rather rude, really, no shocker. She glanced around. Two people, maybe a freak accident that no one wanted to fess up to. But now, four people? This… had to be intentional, right? Lux slipped away, trying to slink off to her bedroom before anyone noticed.

Lux rapped her knuckles against Banana’s door, crossing her arms and waiting impatiently. Tucked in the nook of her elbow was a purse, filled with makeup.

It was fairly early in the morning, a few days after the group sleepover. She didn’t have her makeup on yet, and didn’t have her helmet on like usual. She had tied her hair into a bun, messier than she would have made it for visiting anyone else, really.

[The door immediately opened and Lux was welcomed? To the site that is Banana’s room filled with wall to wall “live laugh love Mira” posters and a simple pillow and blanket on the ground saying “I love Mira”]

She twirled her hair and batted her lashes for a moment, “thank you, thank you…” she trailed off as she took in the decor. She raised a brow before exhaling and continuing to speak.

“I’m here because I wanted company to do my makeup with,” she extended her arm to show her purse.

Lux stepped inside, glancing around before letting out a slight laugh.

“Yeah, really nice.” She looked back at Banana. “Do you want to do your makeup with me? I can do it for you, if you’d like.” She shrugged, before selecting a spot on the floor to sit.

[Banana is now slowly realizing what they have just said]

Lux glanced their face down. She realized now that, even at the sleepover, she hadn’t seen Banana take off their helmet. She had to clear her throat and pat her cheeks to try and hide her flush.

“Thank you very much,” she smiled and turned her head, closing her eyes. She basked in the compliment for a moment, before opening an eye. “I suppose you never do look too bad yourself.”

[Banana seemed slightly embarrassed about the comment]

Lux startles for a moment, her purse slipping out of her hand, before exhaling something between a totally not affectionate sigh and a laugh from her nose. She patted Banana’s head.

“Don’t be too flattered,” her voice was strangely softer than usual, “it’s only the truth.”

OH- yeah yeah I totally know that!! MIRA I need to stop yelling or my voice won’t exist [Banana laughs]

She reluctantly scooted back, “alright, sit, sit.” She opened her purse.

“Sooo, how much do you want, hmm?” She reached out to cup Banana’s face, turning it and looking it over. Honestly, this wasn’t just for makeup purposes anymore, but she would pretend it was.

Lux chuckled softly before pulling out some eyeshadow from her back and getting out her brushes.

“You do those jazz hands quite a bit, you know,” she commented. “Close your eyes.” She brought her brush up.

Lux smiled a bit brighter once their eyes were close. Cute… she shook her head to clear the thought and applied soft blue eyeshadow to Banana’s lids.

“There,” she stated simply, “all done.” She sounded proud, handing Banana a mirror. “How do you like it?” It had taken a decent amount of time. How strange of her to do their makeup first, huh? She still had none on.

Lux glanced their face down. She realized now that, even at the sleepover, she hadn’t seen Banana take off their helmet. She had to clear her throat and pat her cheeks to try and hide her flush.

“Thank you very much,” she smiled and turned her head, closing her eyes. She basked in the compliment for a moment, before opening an eye. “I suppose you never do look too bad yourself.”
