Quinn Fabray. Actress. New York. Twenty years on this earth, and when presented with the opportunity of an introduction, I always find myself wondering...Where to start? The idea that Zac Efron could one day look like Matthew Perry hasn’t stopped depressing the crap outta me since whenever it was that 17 again came out. It’s honestly a terrifying thought, I don’t know how people can deal.

I did. She was expecting some "very important people" in the audience those two days, so our director politely asked if I'd be willing to surrender the shows. And to be fair, you definitely told me Thursday, so I didn't think it'd be a problem. (Though I suppose I could have warned you.)

I’m all for learning, but c’mon. Do these teachers honestly expect me to care enough about the imagery - or symbolism or whatever it’s called - of some book? About a dead guy that I would want to write a whole five page essay on it? I can’t even write a five page essay on something I care about, let alone a book that I pretended to read. I wonder how much I could pay some kid to do it for me, ‘cause I’m not about the failing life.

My understudy went on for me tonight and will also be doing so on Sunday. While I'm wishing her the very best, I also very much enjoyed my night off. I think I'll be supporting her in the audience on Sunday, though, to make up for the fact that I spent her opening night with a cup of tea and Gone Girl. (Preparing for the movie, of course.) I could always use some questions, though I can't guarantee I'll be able to tear my eyes away from this book.

Oh, I can't possibly be your favorite person, but I'll take it. Life's been treating me wonderfully, actually. It's been a doozy of a year, but in a pretty good way, I'd say. How is it being a real-life Captain America?

You’re more than welcome, honestly. This is your first big break! It deserves to be celebrated. Thursday through Sunday — all right. I’ll be there this weekend, then, to cheer you on. I’ll drag Tina along, too, though I don’t know if you can consider it dragging when she’ll be more than eager to come along, too.

School is fine, thanks! Busy, as always, but that’s just how I like it. When I don’t have something to do, I get a little stir crazy.

I'm gaining a reputation in the cast from getting at least half of the front row filled with "my people" every night, so I must recommend that you two spring for the good seats. I'll see if Artie'll be willing to come again to keep you two company. 

You and I are alike in that way. You chose right picking one of the most demanding theatre schools in the country, if you hate being bored. I don't know how you NYADA kids do it -- singing, dancing, and acting. I can barely balance the one.

What's your favorite place to be?

My answer to this has been the same since I was a little girl — Disney World. However, if that’s too cliche, I’ve got to say my grandparents’ house in Colorado. That’s my mother’s hometown, and they moved back there after living in Lima for a while. Their house is cozy, it’s smack-dab in the mountains, it snows a lot, it’s got a beautiful view…That’s my favorite place other than Disney World. Besides, I just really love my grandparents.
