Sooo, I'm thinking about making a blog kinda like this for an AU, an actress or actor AU actually... I'm not confident so could you give me some tips for this kind of AU?

(( I can try anon! Not sure if they’re gonna be necessarily tips per say, but I can tell you what I had in mind for it??   To be entirely honest, I didn’t plan too much for this blog, Kiku was going to be a model and in college and that was all I had. Knew practically nothing going into this AU, it had a character and a setting and that’s it. 1. Setting    I’d say this is important- where the character lives can greatly impact how the character lives and their status of career. You might want to think of how it effects their daily life, like; “do they live frugally or more luxurious?”and “Are they able to live comfortably?”  or maybe even for an actor/actress “do they get stopped by fans/ paparazzi”, “Do they live more secretly or are they more open?”  though, those depend on the status of career.       For example, Kiku, being a college student, living in one of the more expensive cities in the U.S  with a more unstable job, he lives more frugally and even has a roommate to help pay rent. 2. Knowing how the career works/ research     I literally just went with only the knowledge of “Models showcase clothes.” But doing research, I realized there was so much more. It’s important to Know the amount of money they get paid,especially if the pay can vary from part to part.  (this affects what I said earlier about setting)How to get into the industry. How the industry affects the character. (Mentally and physically)Other positions for characters (although not necessary, maybe your muse has gotten help from someone else, or has a manger/ agency of some sort)       For example, Kiku is pretty used to rejection at this point, modeling requires auditioning and if he doesn’t fit the standards companies are looking for then he doesn’t get the gig. Kiku gets paid on average $150 an hour, but only works for 3 hours. And will even get paid in trade instead of actual money this in turn makes paying for college and rent hard for him.

I guess these are the major things (at least in my opinion) to keep in mind. I think, you should think of these first before getting into backstory and other characters. But I hope this helps you anon!
