Arthur Fleck is a 40-year-old aspiring comedian who enjoys strolling, people watching and travelling. He works as a professional party clown.
He is brave and inspiring, but can also be very selfish and a bit sadistic. (Grrrrrr)
He is American who defines himself as open minded when it comes to romance. He lives in Gotham. He finished school and then left academia. Physically, Arthur is in ok shape. He is tall with pale skin, brown hair and green eyes. He has an unusually long nose.
He grew up in a working class neighbourhood. After his being abandoned at a very young age, he was adopted by a woman named Penny. He was abused by her then boyfriend, causing him to develop a involuntary laughing disorder.
He is currently single. He has never had a significant other.
