Like the title says, why not? I’m going to try and analyze this situation and make a case for Penguinshipping in this piece, and prepare yourself because it’s long. This is what I do, I analyze. Of course…this one is gonna be tough.

It truly boggles my mind how so many people will seemingly pair Dawn with just about ANYONE before pairing her up with Kenny.

I mean think about it. The majority of folks pair her up with Paul. Why is that? I don’t even know. Paul is a jerk and if he ever treated my little sister the way Paul treats everyone he meets, I’d have to intervene quick, fast and in a hurry.

I think too often people forget that “they” is as much a pronoun as any of the others, and it isn’t as neutral as you want it to be.

I accept it as a useful default (and I use it that way myself), but once a person has told you their preferences, you GOTTA stop using they/them if it’s not on the list. please. this isn’t me trying to make anyone feel bad but it’s at a point where I’m misgendered more in “inclusive” spaces than literally anywhere else

As a transfem. Before I was open, I would sometimes have cis woman friends say "i hate all men talking about their issues, all of them should just die, oh but not you, you are different"

And let me tell you. They made it scarier to come out, to transition. And didn't feel safe. Cause then its like I'm walking a tightrope where I've seen men and women do terrible things and if I step out of line they might want to kill me for my existence. And that too far out of line might be transition, might be how I've been a csa victim of multiple cis women and being open.

Men hating women aren't feminists, they just hate people for an unchosen trait. And saying people are inherently evil, excuses evil actions.

like sorry to be the bearer of bad news but people piss themselves. when they're afraid. when they've experienced mental and/or physical trauma and their body needs a way to express that stress. when they've been sexually assaulted. when they get older and their muscles start to wear out from a lifetime of service. a not insignificant majority of people Will experience incontinence in their lifetimes and while there are steps you can take to manage it for your own comfort and others', there's simply no moral dimension to it whatsoever. & like i'm not saying every show and movie needs checkhov's bed wetting scene but we have seriously got to get more okay with acknowledging that somehow.

This is Steve Irwin or "Stevie" My Stingray! If you know then you know! Lol My Mom also bought this parrot our haul from Galveston Islands Murdoch's Gift Shop along with the big plastic Axolotl after we visited the Sanctuary office Yesterday ((The actual Marine Sanctuary is offshore))

We learned quite a bit at the Marine Sanctuary office Yesterday Saw a Baby Lion fish being *NSFW* dissected. Coral Colony cultivating and the disgusting deep water horizon oil spill that is still affecting ecosystems today. My Mom saw the first video she had ever seen of the flower garden Marine banks. And we saw inventions and current scuba gear. Also Turns out Lion Fish Venom isn't fatal,It'll ruin your day or your dive but turns out you just have to: "Treat a lionfish sting immediately by soaking the affected area in hot water (110–120°F or 40–49°C) for 30–90 minutes to break down the venom. Remove visible spines with tweezers, wash with soap and water, and take OTC pain relievers. Seek medical attention if symptoms are severe or signs of infection appear!" I need to remember this!!! I wish we could've seen the stuff upstairs but we got there a bit late and before we could it was closing time but I of course appreciate what we did learn!!! We'll have to go back and see it next year!!! My Mom and I were also Extremely tempted to buy one of those full boxes of salt water taffy thanks to the free samples at the first front of the gift shop but My Mom probably assumed correctly that it would all be gone in a day and we'd have pimples all over us! Lol
