hey everyone this is Kyoko Cane, Sergeant of the Daystar Voyage
Just dropping a quick post to tell you to show support to all the great creators of Disney & their animated works,
regardless of Disney controversies, even though they had their comeuppance.
yes we all know these shows listed don't have the same criteria in meeting popular standards in today's biggest impactful cartoons which I find unfair to the rest batch of new generational artists who are starting out, and you don't get to see them be at local or big comic cons nowadays cause there now as revered as today's WOKE agenda to follow through cartoons.
which has its problems ARTICLES BELOW
An episode of “Muppet Babies” depicts Gonzo — a bird-like creature originally thought to be a boy — struggling to tell his friends that he w
(main two Owl House & amphibia however have flaws & problems too which ill go on days for another story.)
as a lover of the company, I do feel we should show support to some of these talented creators just wanting to do what they love is entertaining and showing their love for animation as an art form,
And make sure to show love to the voice actors, cause they deserve all the praise, with a post ill do which I'll discuss later.
cause the pay rate for them has been abysmal these past years
I just want the reader that you all give these excellent shows on the hashtags below a chance even if they're not as popular or hit in popular fandoms (glad the ones I hashtag below arent hostile to others) because there's always room to love even spread, growth for all to make animation spaces better..
Thank You Starryknights have a good one.
The Juneteenth celebration we had at EPCOT Cast Services. ❤️💛💚🖤

Juneteenth Recommendation:
It’s still Juneteenth weekend right!? Well, happy belated Juneteenth y’all! 🎉✊🏾
Today I wanted to highlight a graphic novel that I’ve been so excited to read since I first heard about it and was able to support it on Kickstarter back in 2018!
Illustrated beautifully in black and white, Wake: The Hidden History of Women-Led Slave Revolts is a part graphic novel, part graphic memoir that follows one women’s efforts to uncover the truth about the women-led slave revolts that have been left out of historical records for far too long. Despite their enslavement, these women warriors planned and led revolts on slave ships during the Middle Passage and fought their enslavers throughout the Americas. However, they were completely erased from history and overshadowed by other well-known slave revolts such as Nat Turner’s Rebellion and The Stono Rebellion. Because of this, Dr. Rebecca Hall, a historian and granddaughter of slaves, uses her in-depth archival research to tell the story of these mighty women.
Can’t wait to start my read of this and learn more about events and people that my history textbooks never elaborated on!
