cracks knuckles. hiiii. its once again time for my 'once every few months pokemon fixation that gives me the motivation to work on my blogs' !

@chaosoffriendship M offers a box filled cookies that taste like their happiest memory and if they don't have any the box has you favorite flavor of doughnuts

[Missy glares at the mimikyu, hesitant to let herself or Tussle take one. Free food is never that simple- though, this WAS a party... Maybe it was that simple sometimes?]

"... Thanks," [She mutters suspiciously.]

[Missy takes one, sniffs it, and takes a bite, still electing to not let Tussle have one until she was sure there was nothing... off, about it.]

[Its somewhat spicy, much to Missy's enjoyment. A hint of cinnamon? It was... good. Didn't seem off in anyway. Though Missy wasn't thinking about that for long, as her mind wandered to other places- to her brother, her parents, to fun times and games and pranks- and to the little scraggy standing next to her, looking up at her with big eyes begging to 'let me have a cookie pleaaase?'

[The ghost of a smile found its way to her face and she speaks more relaxed, with a bit of a laugh to her voice.]

"Yeah, thanks, little man. You've got good tastes."

( @asksableye ) Tussle bounds over, his usual smile dropping into a bit of a worried expression. "Um, hello?" He calls to the much taller man, "Your friend looks cold," Tussle glances between the man's face and the shivering woman. "If she wants, she can have my scarf. My mama gave it to me to keep me warm, but I, uh, don't really need it." He takes it off and offers it up with a smile, though his expression falls again with a realization. "It.. um, might be a little small, though..."

??? Seems to be unsure if he should accept the offer or not but ultimately decided any warmth was better than none for his companion.

“What about you? Wouldn’t your mother want you to stay warm?”

"It's okay!"

[Tussle gives a bashful smile and waves his hands dismissively.]

"My Mama just worries a lot, I really don't need it, see?"

[Tussle shakes around a bit, fluffing up his fur to stand more on end, and then raises his arms like he was showing off a magic trick he had performed. He giggles to himself a bit.]

"So I'll be okay! I think my Mama would be more happy knowing that it helped someone who really needed a bit of warmth, anyway."

*Kader looked at the scraggy and scrafty duo, judging them. Dark types? Here? It made him sick. However, these weren't the dark types that were banished. He could try to be civil. Though, he didn't know for how long. He approached with a sneer.*

Kader: I see even Pokémon like you can enjoy the festive season. Funny. I assumed that was not possible. Are there any other holidays ones such as yourself celebrate?

"Well, kinda sorta! We watch fireworks on New Years!! And this year I found out there's a holiday called "Mother's Day" and got a gift for my Mama! Uhm..."

[Tussle's rambling slows as he tries to think what other holidays he knows about, clapping his hands together with an 'oh!' once more come to mind.]

"Oh! And I've not actually celebrated Halloween before, but I'd like to one day! And maybe when I'm older and have a 'Special Someone' I can celebrate Valentine's Day with them like my Mama and Papa do!"

"What about you? Do you celebrate those, too? Oooo, is there something else you celebrate?! I wanna know ALL the holidays so I can do them ALL one day!"

[Tussle looks up to Kader, eyes shining and smile wide, eagerly awaiting an answer. If Tussle had caught any of the underlying vitriol in Kader's expression and statement, he sure wasn't showing it.]

[Missy's expression, on the other hand, was rather clearly soured by Kader's words before she forced it into something more neutral, almost bored, when Tussle interrupted.]

[She's not an idiot, she can tell he has a problem with them, even if she hasn't gotten a clue what it is- Missy's pretty sure they've never met this guy before, so why's he got a problem?!]

[Sighing, Missy elects to bite her tongue and just let the conversation roll by. She doubted this guy was going to do anything physical, and she wasn't looking to start a fight either. Finish a fight, happily, but starting a fight would probably get them kicked out and she really didn't want to have to deal with all that hassle.]

[Whatever. They can both just pretend to be polite until this conversation is over and then move on. That's fine by Missy.]

I see you've brought a little one as well. Do you celebrate Christmas? If so, is there anything you're looking forward to this year?

"Its more a thing the kids in the gang enjoy. People throw out old toys around this time of year, so they make a bit of a 'treasure hunt' out of it. See who can find the best ones."

"They usually have me judge which one's the 'best' so they can declare a winner. Its cute. Nice change of pace."

"Missy," [Tussle gestures to the Scrafty behind him] "Said that everyone should 'Leave that old man and his alley alone!' but I've met him twice outside of it!"

"The first time I met him, I guess I snuck up on him on accident, 'cause he jumped out of the trash and yelled at me. But then he gave me a piece of bread to apologize, I think he thought I was someone else when he heard me walking. It scared me when he yelled at me, but he was nice afterwards!"

"The second time, I didn't really-'meet' him, I guess, but I heard him! He was singing to himself! I didn't get too close, 'cause I didn't wanna scare him again and make him stop, so I just stood around and listened for awhile. His voice was a bit.... wobbly? I guess? But his singing was still very pretty!"

"If you're his friend, you should ask him to sing for you sometime!"

[Missy, for her part, seems to try to ignore that the question was also addressed to her.]

Mentem notices the scraggy and scrafty, bewildered at how they’re unbothered by the cold despite being largely uncovered.

“How the heck are the both of you conpletely fine in this temperature?”

[The scrafty shrugs.]

"And the kid's a little furball. Got plenty to keep him warm."

[She looks Mentem up and down.]

"Looks like you ain't so lucky. There's supposed to be hot spring round here, right? Outta pay that a visit."

oh whoops ive accidentally been coloring the Scrafty's stomach wrong for a scrafty lol. Thats what happens when you draw up designs from memory

(@agent-morpeko) Alicia approaches the duo. She waves at them.

"Hello! How's going? I know you've just arrived, but still...ya having fun already, eh? Anyways, what are your plans here?"

[The scraggy sees Alicia waving and runs over to meet her halfway, waving back.]

"I'm gonna start with a snowmon!! I just need to find a good place for it! Hey! You've been here for a bit, right? Have you seen any good spots? Oh, oh, I'm Tussle by the way!! Its nice to meet you!!"

[The scrafty sighs as she jogs to catch up with Tussle, who either didn't hear or chose to ignore her reprimanding. She rests one of her hands on Tussle's head, sizing up Alicia with a glare. She scoffs and mumbles a hello, expression softening only slightly.]

"I know you're excited, but stay near me. Your Ma will kill me if you get lost."

"Yes, ma'am!"

[We take a brief intermission from Conny and The Egg to instead follow this Scrafty and Scraggy!]
