Well deviantart…I REFUSE TO CONFORM TO YOUR OBVIOUSNESS!!! If anyone keeps up to date with DA, they’re doing a birthday challenge thingy where you need to draw something based off of their template. Which had a very obvious looking human form about it. So, obviously, being the edgy tea addict that I am, I shoved Sapphy in it instead >:T

Happy Chinese/ Lunar New Year everyone! It’s a huge celebration from where I come from (Malaysia) and it is a celebration to usher in the new year according to the Chinese Lunar Calendar. There are 12 animals in the Chinese Zodiac for each year and this is the year of the Rooster. The legend of the Chinese Zodiac comes from the story of the Great Race where the Jade Emperor (the supreme ruler of heaven in Chinese mythology) decided to host a race where the order of the zodiac would be based upon which order the animals finish in. More random facts ~the Rooster is a “yang’ element ~this year is more specifically the Fire Rooster year ~the Rooster has been said to be the same family as Pheonixes ~according to legends, the dragon borrowed its legs from the snake and antlers from the rooster, hence, the rooster crows everyone morning to ask the dragon back for its antlers ~Chirpy-chi is actually not a chicken Features Sapphy & Chi

Mod: It's 2017 already and I've left this blog alone for too long :C Now with that being said, I'll like to use this post has a cut off point for all my old stuff. That just means whatever was before this post is now non-canon/ irrelevant in moving forward. This is because since this blog has gone on hiatus for so long, my ideas and plans for Sapphire have evolved along the way to the point I can't really use the old stuff anymore. She's still pretty much the same personality wise though. I'll still leave the old stuff untouched for those who wants to still dig through them for some reason. Thanks for anyone still reading this but whenever I come back, I want to do it with a fresh start. Take care and have a great day, everyone!
