Adora: On the subject of Scorpia- I never really got to know her when I was still with the Horde, but for someone as high up in ranking as her, she seems pretty kind, from what I’ve seen!

Okay so three things:

-The past few days have been hella busy but I’m back on my meds and  dont  feel like sleeping for 3 days straight anymore. Should be back  at it tomorrow!

-I  have a really close friend who I realized after the previous reblog HAS THE SAME BIRTHDAY AS CATRA

-I just got a new  keyboard and it’s  broken and  the wrong one. It  either double/triple spaces, spaces when I don’t want a space, or  just. Doesn’t. Space. At. All. It’s very annoying.

Okay there’s something I kindaaa forgot to mention in my about so I’m gonna explain here but under a readmore so ppl who don’t care can skip passed, but anyway it’s got to do with me randomly being gone for a day or two.

So I have a fair amount of health issues, a lovely mix of physical and mental. Some days I’ll wake up in too much pain or exhaustion to even get up, let alone sit over my monitor at my PC to draw. So there will be days I will just. Not post.

The past few days was worse because I ran out of my prescription for the only thing health-wise I have actual control over and I’ve gone days without it. If I don’t take this medication I end up so physically exhausted I can barely keep my eyes open, I can barely think, I stop eating (most times), and a lot of other issues. I just picked up my new prescription today and the effects should kick in within the next few days.

So if you’re ever wondering where I am? That’d be it. Don’t worry about it, I’m used to this all. I just wanted to make sure you guys knew I wasn’t gonna just suddenly abandon you!

Hi Adora! Just wanted to ask how did you spend your first Christmas? Did Catra try and be evil again? (Also Skye I hope you had a good holiday!)

Adora: For how I spent my first Christmas- mainly decorating! Apparently the staff around the castle usually put up the decorations but Glimmer and Bow were adamant on helping out this time to give me ‘the true experience’, as they put it.

Thanks for asking!! It went well! I usually know what my family is getting because they just outright ask me, but this time there were a few surprises which was nice. I even found my mom’s present that had gone mysteriously missing and she was really happy with it. :)

BONUS:

Catra and her slowly growing hoard of decorations stolen from the castle. Everyone is baffled that so many decorations keep going missing somehow.

Got errands to run and then I’m finally good to go answering asks~ Got one I have to skip ahead to ask (Christmas related) and then I’ll start from the oldest!

alright y’all this clip just came out and i’m gonna say this right now: i don’t think that’s adora once she transforms

i’m not saying adora becomes a different person every time she transforms. that would be kinda weird. but, it’s really striking how different she acts once she takes the sword from glimmer. she goes from very emotionally vulnerable and shaken to… distant and cold.

the first time she transforms, she’s confused and frightened, and this is shortly before glimmer and bow capture her.

notice that she is not glowing, she’s being very emotional and, from what little we know of her, acting very much like herself. 

now… compare to her transformation in the new clip.

the music becomes almost eerie as she slices the horde-bot in half.

she then gives glimmer a very… strange look. you’d think she would flash a smile or say something, but she just looks at her in silence. its hard for me to screenshot, but her eyes shimmer weirdly too, like they’re almost blank.

glimmer is pretty shocked too.

she then proceeds to walk on to the battlefield like a badass, glowing so bright that people have to squint and shield their eyes.

her face is stone cold. practically emotionless as she, somehow, manages to do the exact thing she needs to do.

the horde soldiers are taken down, and she looks at bow with the same look she gave glimmer. she almost looks… angry or contemptful, which is strange considering bow is apparently the only one who is nice to her before she switches sides.

its also worth noting that we see her glow a bit in the first trailer

(we only see her glow a couple times during that final battle sequence, the rest of the clips from it she looks normal.)

basically, it looks like that’s not adora. that’s she-ra. i don’t think this is exactly a possession type of situation, but something about becoming in this instant she-ra makes her different mentally. maybe she melded with the spirits of The First Ones in this moment? I don’t know. What do you guys think?

So just before I crash I wanted to say, once the holiday stuff is over and I'm settled at home again without stress, I'm gonna try picking it up to more than one answer a day (which might mean two instead only, I do have limits and each ask takes between 2-5h depending)

But the jump in followers and the slight backlog of asks I have to answer, I want to be more active here than just once a day!

So hopefully you guys have that to look forward to!!

Okay but in all seriousness, I ship both for different reasons and in different circumstances. My Adora is not dating either of them and loves them both equally.
