Ended binging a lot of tv/movies this past year, what are y’all’s favorites (or you can just say your go-to genre instead)

this is a fun question!

Emilia: Horror movies (she particularly likes supernatural elements, i’ve heard her talk about Us and Get Out a lot)

Bodie: Romcoms (i always cry during The Notebook!)

Miss Aubrey: Surprisingly, also horror movies (i’ve even heard her say that her favorites are the Friday the 13th movies)

Angel: Romcoms (he really likes The Proposal. probably bc he thinks both Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds are hot)

L’il T: Musicals (she had a really short High School Musical phase that i don’t think entirely went away)

Taye: Mysteries (i don’t think i’ve ever heard her say her favorite)

Jaryn & Kerith: those arthouse movies (i think they’ve both brought up Suspiria when talking to Emilia)

Oblio: Documentaries (he’s particularly into those true crime documentaries. hasn’t said a favorite though)

Dr. Tan: i don’t think he’s ever mentioned a favorite movie or tv show. he’s referenced The Office a few times though

Mo: he’s really into game shows! i think his favorite is Press Your Luck

Glitch: he’s more into YouTube than movies or TV, i think his favorite “show” is Buzzfeed Unsolved

Rasa: Period dramas (he really likes Downton Abbey and The Tudors)

Lima: Musicals (she sings from The Phantom of the Opera a lot, it’s not half bad)

Dare & MacCoy: they don’t really talk about their favorite movies or tv shows, but they’ve mentioned getting into Japanese game shows recently, and i think MacCoy just really likes movies that are so bad they’re good

Seems pretty wholesome to me

I personally don’t have anything against it. I never said that it was a bad thing. I just never saw Angel as the kind of guy to get cozy with hot chocolate and romcoms. Maybe because I’ve always just kinda assumed that he was always trying to be overly macho even when he wasn’t trying to impress me?

tl;dr though -- a lot of us are kinda doing hobbies right now instead of dancing together. emilia and i are still doing zoomba (zoom zumba) and it’s been really fun, and a great way to stay in shape!

Question for girls. How would their perfect date would look like?

this is a really cute question luv! <3

emilia says that she likes simple dates where it’s less abt what you do and more about who you’re with and the conversation. she likes being outdoors though!

aubrey said she really likes dinner dates, followed by an activity that she can do with her partner. she didn’t really specify other than that!

l’il t says she just likes casual hangouts like playing video games together or just talking!

taye said that she likes doing sports together, or watching something together. she mentioned biking specifically i think!

jaryn just said that they like being around someone regardless of what they do. it’s less about the activity and more about the person. similar to emilia!

lima told me she likes coffee and/or lunch dates. i think she also mentioned liking concerts!

as for me, i like to have a fun time! maccoy and i frequent arcades, amusement parks, and clubs together whenever we go out, and it’s always lovely~

Winter’s practically over in some places but what’s everyone’s warm beverage of choice

Ooh, this is fun! I like this question.

Emilia likes hot black coffee with a sugar cube in it. Don’t ask how I know that.

Bodie loves a simple hot chocolate or a really sugary coffee. He and Angel make hot chocolate together and watch dumb romcoms. Bro time, they call it.

I prefer a nice tea. I like peppermint, but I’m not averse to Oolong or Earl Grey either.

Glitch and Mo both like coffee. Which concerns me, since Glitch is a minor and all. You’d think Mo would be more responsible.

Li’l T and Taye don’t really like warm drinks, but Taye can sometimes be seen drinking a coffee.

The Glitterati twins barely drink anything but water. I wouldn’t be surprised if every now and again they just drank warm water. They’re strange.

Dr. Tan really likes sugary coffee drinks too, and he sometimes messages Bodie asking what his recommendations are. Oblio’s had to reach out to Bodie to tell him not to enable his dad. Apparently Dr. Tan gets sugar rushes easily.

Oblio likes tea like me, although his favorites are black tea and Darjeeling.

Dare and MacCoy are also sugar fiends. One time, Dare mentioned that she saw MacCoy boil Gatorade. I think about that more than I should.

Rasa and Lima drink a lot of coffee, because of how busy they are. I think Lima is the most avid coffee drinker out of everyone. Rasa also occasionally gets into “bro time” with hot chocolate. I try not to judge my crewmate, but bro time is definitely questionable.

So what have y'all been doing in your free time

i’ve been learning to dj, and i also got a bunch of new games on steam so i’m basically occupied with living online rn!

bodie and emilia are doing zoomba (zoom zumba) classes like mo said, and i’ve also heard that emilia’s been learning to sew! which is dope!!!

miss aubrey’s been posting a lot of selfies, and also chewing out other rich kids that’ve been taking vacations during quarantine. she’s kind of baller!

and from what bodie’s told me and mo, angel’s kinda been having a crisis since he’s not been going on in-person dates and stuff, so he’s been calling bodie a lot lol.

but yeah, we’re all mostly just chilling out and keeping safe! i think emilia’s planning on making everyone custom masks which is super cool!!!!!!

How does everyone's day look like?

well considering The Plague (trademark pending) a lot of us are stuck indoors right now. i’ve heard that emilia and bodie are doing zoomba workouts (zoom zumba), and that rasa and lima are both having a rough time in video call dci meetings

as for me, i’m just chilling out and doing what i can to make sure that i’m healthy and safe and that others are too. plus masks are actually dope and you can quote me on that

Unless you’re referring to my father, Dr. Tan, then no, none of us have children. Although MacCoy has referred to his frogs as his children on more than one occasion.

How did DCI meet?

Great question! Rasa and I met through work. We were assigned to the same case a few years ago and we’ve been close ever since! As far as everyone else is concerned, Rasa and I both contacted the different crews separately as part of that same mission.

I contacted Lu$h, D-Coy, and Flash4wrd, and Rasa got in contact with Riptide, Hi-Def, and Oblio of M.O.C.

The Glitterati and Dr. Tan have been on our radar for a while, but none of us knew that Oblio was related to Dr. Tan, much less his son.

Anyway, yeah! Basically, we all met via work, and have been friends since then!
