What is up, Tumblr? You've just tumbled across the blog of one Miss Mercedes Jones. I'm sure you know who I am, otherwise I have no idea why you'd be on my page. I am a freshmen at UCLA and am working towards making my dreams come true. And trust me, they will.

I think being surrounded by people who love you and in such an exciting city could do that to a person. I mean, I’ve always wanted to come here for as long as I can remember, but visits to see Rachel and Kurt out here only made me love it more. See? I knew you got it! And good, I figured if anyone can help me out, it’s definitely you. Perfect! I’m sure everyone—not just myself—will be super excited to come check it out!

I think it is a big help, yes. I've never even thought as New York as an option for me, to be honest. Not until I started visiting it more and I guess I just... fell in love with it. Oh definitely, especially since this has to happen. I miss my NYC family. I am not afraid to turn my place into Monica's apartment on friend. You know, the place where everyone goes just to hang out. I'm excited to have you guys!

Don't usually get hooked on a show

but Pretty Little Liars has me all up in it’s business. I can seriously not wait for the next episode to show. Any of the rest of you freaks been watching it?

I don’t think I could’ve put that any better myself! I mean, only you would know for sure if this is the place for you, but it seemed pretty clear that you weren’t really enjoying LA. Plus, they say if you can make it here? You can make it anywhere, and I’m pretty sure you’re up to the challenge. For sure! We’ve actually tried doing that, but we should get it back into gear now that you’re in the city too; I know you’ll help me keep everyone on board. Well, I look forward to seeing it once you two have gone all ‘Extreme Makeover’!

I think I enjoyed LA at first, and for awhile there I was happy, but when I went to see you all in New York I was just... much, much happier than I was before. I'm most definitely up for the challenge! I'm a diva, Blaine. I can make it anywhere. I'd be happy too, because as mentioned, you guys are part of the reason I found my way here. Not the only reason, but you all sure did help. I'll make sure to invite everyone over once he and I are finished!

Thank goodness the week is over!

As much as I love playing Fanny Brice and the show, five full days of non-stop rehearsals and performances do tend to be exhausting. So much so that the only plan I have for this weekend is staying in and rewatching the entire One Tree Hill series.

That was the tipping point, huh? Well, I’m just glad she said it and you got yourself out here! California’s great and everything, but New York’s even greater. I’ll admit, I’m biased but it’s still 100% true. Great! We can gather all of our friends in the city and have a get together at your new place; it’ll be a blast! Well, Kurt loves you to pieces and he’s always been the kind of person—to me, at least—who would do just about anything for the people he loves. The mention of shopping probably didn’t hurt. He’s been working so hard and been so stressed lately, I bet a bit of retail therapy is just what the doctor ordered.

Yeah, it was. I believe her exact words were "That’s because you belong in New York with everyone else. It’s a fact, and you can’t deny it. I know you’ve been unhappy in LA for awhile, so..just make the move." It was like she could read my mind, because she was only saying what had been going through my mind for a long time. I liked LA, and there were some places I would like to visit again, but as far as home it's New York for me. I agree, maybe we can make it a weekly thing and switch whose place we'll be at. I'm excited to see everyone again. I love him too, and since he is the only one other than myself who could make my home seem like my own, I couldn't think of anyone better.

Ooooh, well that was pretty crafty of you! I can’t believe I didn’t find out from one of the girls. Either way, well done; I’m just glad you managed to find a place! I can’t wait to come check it out—once you’re done getting settled and making it look more like home, maybe we could have a little house-warming party or something. You know how our group likes a good pot luck, it could be fun! Oh, wonderful, I knew he’d love to help. I have no doubt that the place will look fantastic. You’re more than welcome! That’s so great to hear—it’s just good to have you here at last, Miss Jones.

It's funny, I didn't even know why I looked at places. I didn't plan on moving until Rachel told me I belonged here and should come out here already. I'm glad too, I was out of Lima the second my dad came home from the hospital! I think a house-warming party sounds like a great idea. Part of the reason I wanted to be here was to be close to my best friends and what better way to see them then a party at my place, right? I knew he would too. He seemed to just beam at the mention of shopping. It's good to be here at last, Mister Anderson.

Not that I had any doubt ‘bout that. Anyway, I’ve been working a few shifts which is part of the reason why I haven’t been ‘round this site much - the other reason being that I just don’t want to sit ‘round like some hermit. I doubt I’ve missed anything.

Yeah, that’s really impressive, to be honest—well done! Oh, you certainly should! I bet Kurt would love that; you know how much he adores you so I bet he’d be happy to lend his expertise. Haha, no worries, always happy to lend a hand. I’m really happy for you, ‘Cedes. It sounds like you’ve got yourself on a good track, and I couldn’t be happier that that means you joined us out here in NYC.

I had looked at apartments when I was here last time, you know when I stayed with Rachel. I was just lucky the same ones were available. I asked for his help and he, of course, said yes! Between he and I my place is bound to look fabulous. Thank you, Blaine. I really feel like I've found my place here and the fact that you guys are here makes it so much better.

That’s great though! Finding an apartment is a tricky business all in itself. I’m sure Kurt would love to help—of course I can’t speak for him, but I can’t imagine why he’d skip a chance to help furnish your place. I’d also be happy to come and help, even if it’s just to be an extra pair of hands. Well, all the matters is that you’re here now! Better late than never, right?

I actually found one a lot quicker than I thought I would. I'll have to text Kurt to ask for his help, but I don't see any reason why he wouldn't want to help either. Oh I'll definitely be asking you boys for help, so thank you. I really appreciate it. And you're right, that is all that matters. I finally did what I've been thinking of doing and I feel really good about it.

I don't mind the questions, Marley. You're fine. And I don't know, I guess I always thought New York was where Broadway stars were born. I'm not meant for Broadway. I thought LA was the place for me, you know?
