Found faded type in Dumbo, Brooklyn on the Peerless Paints and Varnish building, owned by the Miller & Van Winkle Co. in the 19th century.
Found faded type in Dumbo, Brooklyn on the Siegel-Cooper warehouse building. The Chicago retailer's Manhattan department store was on 6th Avenue in the Flatiron district. In 1896, at the time of its opening, the New York store was the largest in the world.
