((It’s cleaning day!!!! I actually collect and care for bones. They can absorb fats and grease easily, so I think at at least once a month skeletons need to scrub themselves down with hydrogen peroxide and a toothbrush once a month so they don’t get all gross.))

She looked for some kind of sign, any sign that would help her figure out who this was. She quickly noticed the flash and started running with him clutched in her hands. She stumbled over words as she kept searching for the town. “You told me you would protect… How could I be so stupid… “She had to keep quiet about The questioning the entity attached to the skeleton. The anger in the pit of her stomach grew as her hands became warmer and warmer. She cursed herself for getting angry so easily and quickly cooled down. “We have to get you home… Maybe that will help you in some way… ”
Sans looked at her, pleadingly. It was all he could really do. Flowey,on the other hand, started thinking that the jig was up. “No, no, I… sorry. I’m sorry. I don’t know…” He knew Toriel was strong, and in his current state, fighting was out of the question.
She held him as close as possible as she found a faint glow of a house. "The promise that if a child came out of the ruins you would protect them.” She bared her teeth as she spoke, displacing her anger with the idea that her friend was taken captive to something different. She tried looking at Sans eye for as long as possible. She opened the door and looked around inside the house for signs of life.
Sans stared at her face, grateful for the view. Maybe she would save him. He hoped that she could. He would try his best to keep his promise. Flowey was silent and frowning.

If Sans had a heart, it would be in his throat right now. He was beside her now. She was there, in front of him. He tried to reach his hand out, but the vines kept him clamped down. All he could do was listen to the lies Flowey said. “I’m sorry… You might have to pick me up….”
She nodded and held her hands out to pick him up. “What happened for your legs to cease working? If you can remember that is?” She softly picked him up and put him to her chest.
Sans felt chills go down his spine, and not the good kind. He knew that flowey was bad news- he knew he would hurt Toriel, and he did NOT want that to happen. Not with his own hands. He did, admittedly, enjoy her touch, but those thoughts had to be shoved into the back of his skull for now. He was… He was better than that. Flowey shook Sans’s head again. “I… I’m afraid I don’t remember, no matter how hard I try, I can’t move them!”
This, surprisingly, was not a lie.
She started walking away from the entrance and just kept walking in any direction. She seemed quiet for a while and kept looking around for any clues. After a semi long-term bout of silence she realized she never introduced herself. “By the way my names Toriel… ” She kept her hands cradling him as she walked letting her arms steady so he didn’t bounce much.
Sans was going to remember that name regardless. “My name is Sans.” Flowey said, happily, ad San’s eye darted over to the right, trying to catch the flower in his peripheral vision. “Nice to meet you, Toriel.”
She smiled to him and noticed that his eye moved a little differently. Then her smile turned into a frown quickly as he said his name.
“Sans?”
Her eyes flickered in remembrance and she looked at him.
“You’re voice sounds so different? How?”
Flowey made Sans turn his head to the side. “Different? What do you mean, different?” The vines around Sans’s skull contracted to stop him from uttering a word.
