She watched him move around her the best she could, putting a hand on his head and smiling.

“I cannot help it.”

"Of course you can't," he chuckled, which faded into a loud approving purr.

She sighed, putting her hands in front of her.

“Now I can rest easy, knowing that my mentor, though a cynic and as cryptic as the crypt itself, has returned to Wonderland and finally to me…”

The Cat padded over to her and rubbed his head against her hip, "I'm glad you think so fondly of me, and yet use such a brilliant array of adjectives to describe me..." A low chuckle came from him as he curved and let his head nudge against the other side of her.

Alice started down at the Cat, some of the blood flaking off of her face and arms.

“I will always be a curious monster.”

He let out a purr, then smiled only the faintest bit.

She sighed, slowly coming out of Hysteria. She wiped her eyes and smiled to him.

“I missed you, you mangy cur.”

He gave a full grin, and stood. "And I you, you disquisitive dame..."

Alice started down at the Cat, some of the blood flaking off of her face and arms.

“I will always be a curious monster.”

“Whe-re were you?!” she screamed, fresh blood leaking from her eyes, “I thought you were dead! Just like everything else!”

He stood and sauntered slowly toward her, only to sit back down a few feet away from her. "It is not of where I was,but as in a matter of how I was..." His tail swiped gently, expression unchanging,"But it seems you are unchanging..."

“Then why not come sooner…? You left me to WONDER! I waited, and yet you were nowhere…”

His smile disappeared slowly, leaving a solemn expression. 

"Alice, like I have divulged to you multiple times before; I cannot always be there..."

The Cat rolled his bony shoulders, then tilted his head toward her.

“And Alice would dispose of trouble when she sees it…” The feline dropped from the chair and rounded his desk.

“You think she will kill him?”

“She may, she may not,” he said.

“It would be quite entertaining if she did… don’t you think?” he chuckled, “Ah, the emotional strife… so vulnerable…”

"Or it may empower her to kill you once and for all," he said, making a slight yawning sound.

“Do not blame me for his stupidity,” the Doctor hummed, leaning against the chair as he looked up to the Cat, “He is nothing like me outside the Ruin flowing ever so thickly through his veins…” A small smirk crawled across his lips.

"And if you were paying any sort of attention to what I was saying; I did not blame you for the boy's actions, merely that his only setbacks are being in ties with you...", he said lowly,"The blackish blood that runs through him...But there is potential in him..."

“Only because she has that bastard on her side,” he growled, “I tried to save him, but he refused me. All because he loves her. You know that, don’t you? He loves her.”

The sound of claws against fabric were heard as the creature climbed on top of it, staring at him with lazy eyes. "Perhaps he does, one tends to do some...crazy things for the ones they fancy," he said, blinking slowly. "Lucian seems to have only one setback, and that is being in relation to you, or whoever is similar to you; all in all, he has ties to you," he mumbled, keeping his claws sunk into the cushion.

He looked down at the Cat, the glare of his glasses being the only thing showing.

“She has made many mistakes without you, Cat… so many regrets in the passing time. She prays for her council… but who is there to help her? Simply an idiot of an imposter’s creation and her own broken mind!”

"And yet she had the mindset and power to repel you, hmmm, shows how powerful you must be, Doctor," he retorted, standing again and began to move his way over to a chair. "Hopefully I will not be visiting or seeing you...", he said lowly before disappearing behind it.

“Should you not be returning to her, anyhow?” he chuckled, “From what I heard during my stay, you have been missing for quite sometime… she would often sit and talk to you as if you were dead.”

"Do you not think I know of this," he replied, making a subtle movement before appearing on the floor. "You and Alice, as many times as I tell her, I cannot be there for her all the time," he purred, tail flicking quickly side to side. "But indeed, you make a valid point, I have yet to return in quite some time..."
