Hi everyone. This has taken a long time but since the start of 2023 (perhaps earlier) I’ve been burnout with poor mental health (which I won’t diverge further details on.) Combine that with art block, time agnosia, wrist issues I’m now openly disclosing that started 2023 and undermining myself as a disabled creative, is why I haven’t been active or drawing much.

Despite how much I wanna draw and socialize, I have not had the energy for it. At this time I’m still recovering, attempting to conserve what energy I do have to chip away at things gradually all as I try to not push myself to avoid perpetuating my burnout or aggravating my wrist more.

Socializing is still very difficult but my hope is to start building up my activity again (at my own pace albeit) as I re-discover the joy in being passionate again as well.

To everyone, I appreciate your continued patience despite my leaving everyone in the dark and for that I apologize. It was the last thing I wanted to do but I did and there’s no changing that.

Thank you however and I hope everyone looks forward to what i’ll do from here on 💖

REPORT OF THE DAY. Suffice to say, with health and being busy for varying reasons my activity has been lackluster everywhere.

I haven't drawn anything proper of Trigun in the last 5ish months and trying to find the energy to re-read and rewatch 98 has further put a pause on things. I'm slowly getting into the swing of things again however and I thank everyone for their patience!

I have a lot of asks sketched out and or almost finished and I have plans still to update my personal scar references so I hope everyone looks forward to more gradually 💖

REPORT OF THE DAY. Hi there! For intents and purposes my description says IN CHARACTER Ask's are closed so I'm not accepting new IC asks per say at this time (e.g. unless I cave if the question I received whilst my IC asks are closed is of real interest to me.) Which applies to everyone!

But ask's that are directed to me, the Mun (Out of character asks) are still very much welcomed and accepted ^^

As for your question, it isn't possible for me to answer because of my blogs premise. This is a anime and manga vash focused ask blog. Yes, other Trigun characters may be featured on this blog - but I'm not an all character ask blog unless the question in particular has Anime or Manga Vash (or both) as the questions main focus.

I will preface this and say that crossovers between other series are unlikely to happen UNLESS the crossover question's main focus has something to do with manga or 98 anime Vash or both and most importantly, if it in practically takes my interest (i.e. is a series I'm familiar with or like.) I ain't against crossover ask's since my ask blog is already technically a crossover between anime and manga canon! But I'm very likely to delete any crossover questions if it has nothing to do with my ask blog's premise or is a series I'm not interest in / don't like. ^^

(25/02/23) EDIT: Following how the Trigun community has treated these personal references (as a free resource to name an example.) I’ve watermarked my existing scar references and added additional disclaimers. I wasn’t really happy any more with my old comparison I did last year so decided to fix it up. This time around, it now features the stampede’s from behind, to accompany the front view of the two stampede’s I made!

Like the original, this is a visualisation to demonstrate the differences as well as similarities between anime and manga Vash. It’s also a handy consistent scar reference for the two, based off of scars seen in the anime and manga for the respective Vash (with a few headcanon scars mixed in as well!)

My headcanon heights are as following for the two of them ; Anime Vash is 6″3ft whilst Manga Vash is 6″6ft

REPORT OF THE DAY. I already have this established in my rules but just in case ;- I only reference the OFFICAL TRANSLATION by dark horse for Trigun / Trigun maximum when it comes to manga content!

I have provided a link to read the official dark horse translation online in my rules! As most, if not all, search results turn up the scanlation version!

I do not in any way acknowledge or condone the scanlation (the scanlation I’m refereeing to is the one that features credit pages in association with #mangaproject / ‘A maximum 7 release’.)It is riddled with content not true to the original Japanese text (e.g. dialogue being inserted that was never there to begin with.) And parts of the scanlation are also based on the original magazine publishing for Trigun maximum which had numerous sequences altered for the official releases and so, not the true canonical version of trigun!

The official by dark horse isn’t perfect, but is of superior quality automatically to the state of this fan scanlation. I say this with utmost honesty because this was how I experienced the manga and was left confused / disproving of the quality untill I learnt this was a un-official fan scanlation.

The only fan translation I am willing to acknowledge (or recommend) is the @trigun-manga-overhaul project! A translation project that desires to release the best possible version of the manga for fans to read. All Whilst respecting Nightows original vision and the original Japanese dialogue so as to do the manga justice! Please support this fan translation over the scanlation any day.
