((ok,so,i got bored as hell yesterday (all my friends went to sleep but i wasn't tired at all),so i figured i'd mess with that "create your own roster" thing and put in all the muses that came to mind (that i could actually make...and, for once, i'm actually kinda sad that mewtwo isn't featured in SSB4.poor Tew...)
so,here's what i got,with descriptions for everybody ...not outright refs,mind you.just descriptions i thought would be useful
these ones are returning from previous Smash games (originally in order of meeting until i got mixed up and just gave up on caring):
left to right -->
CJ: The very first fighter(well,that's introduced anyway). White Kirby alternate. He's outgoing and friendly, with a habit of "adopting" people he's very fond of as a brother or sister. Or, at least, treating and considering them as such. He's extremely protective of his friends, and has his fair share of pet peeves. His temper is rather volatile, and, when sufficiently angered, he can become quite gullible. When he gets a grudge, he can hold it for quite a long time, unless something drastic happens to change his opinion. He enjoys fighting with swords, but has negative aim and hates using his natural abilities, particularly inhaling/copying. CJ suffers a bit from Chronic Hero Syndrome...
Lily: The jigglypuff alternate. She's all of them and changes her costumes basically whenever anyone takes her eyes off of her. Her personality tends to vary depending on who she's interacting with. To people she dislikes, she can range anywhere from a bit of a jerk to a downright bitch. To her friends, she can be quite sweet, and even quick to forgive. To the object of her affections, CJ, she's a complete tsundere, with very little dere. It's not that she doesn't know how to show her affection or anything like that, but that there really hasn't been any "romantic" relationships in Smash yet, and doesn't want to be seen as "weak"--the greatest insult in a place completely built around fighting. Her fighting style tends to be head-on, and with her bare fists or a completely-charged rollout. Her sing attack is primarily used to get the more stubborn fighters to take a nap at night... While she isn't particularly gullible, per se, she relies very heavily on her vision. Take that away from her, and she'll go nuts, panicking and attacking anything that gets too close. Even if it's just an easily-removed cloth...
Ash: A red pikachu alternate. His name was given to him by the Original Pikachu, based off of his hat. Before Melee, he went nameless. He's easily one of the, if not the, most lazy, self-absorbed fighters. He's the third weakest of the pikachu alts, and deems that a good enough reason to laze about, usually doing nothing more than sleep, or gaze up at the sky. He doesn't really bother with "friends" or "enemies", and his personality reflects that--a completely apathetic, bored-with-everything type of person, who seems to consider anyone trying to interact with him as the highest annoyance. It's extremely hard to gain his trust, and, even when you do, it doesn't seem to make much difference. Making him actually care about something would be more of an accomplishment. Of course, that seems to be what Aqua's trying to do... His fighting style simply consists of "try to not get hit" and "spam thunder".
Aqua: Blue Zelda (previously Zelda and Shiek) alternate. She's a very stubborn and tenacious person, both in and out of fights...when she's actually brought into a situation anyway. Initially, she was the somewhat quiet, if harsh, self-proclaimed "baby-sitter" (this term decided out of irritation with how badly the others acted) that watched out for the group of the nicer alternates in Melee. However... After an incident, she, bit by bit, separated herself from everyone else, until most either didn't know where she is, or don't dare to approach her. The only person she really consistently interacts with now is Ash, and that's because she hasn't given up on trying to make him care about something. Anything. When someone tries to talk to her, she'll make a bit of an effort to talk back, but this seems to be the most she's willing to do, as she purposely avoids getting attached to or even somewhat trusting people now. Her personality nowadays is rather cold and stand off-ish. Particularly uncommon for an alternate, she doesn't have a distinct fighting style, only focusing on adapting to whatever will make a fight end faster.
Bijou: Or just B, if you want her nickname. A blue pikachu (formally pichu) alternate. She's outgoing and friendly, similarly to CJ, but much more interested in fighting. She can also be very...childish and annoying. Especially if you're fun to annoy. If you see CJ deny a chance to help out for any reason whatsoever, you'll usually find Bijou going in his place, either out of irritation or curiosity. She typically acts on impulse, and is quick to trust anyone that at least doesn't appear to be a bad person. As for grudges, it depends on the person she's dealing with. She has a rather unhealthy obsession with gun items, and has deadly aim to go with it. If none are available, she'll just start throwing anything that gets in reach. If there are no items? Spam thunder. Currently, her favorite pastime is trying to break her record with the sandbag.
Prey: Blue Falco alternate. His name is intentionally taken from "birds of prey"...or Bijou. Either one. He isn't so much arrogant (which is what it'll seem half the time), as he just...dislikes interacting with people. Especially anyone that hits him in the face. Or is Bijou. The blue pika alt has tormented him since he can remember (even back when she was a pichu), and he despises her for it. Where B sees a harmless game of harassing the "grumpy guy", Prey sees a little asshole who's about to make his day much more frustrating. He keeps a very anti-social, short-tempered personality at all times, partially to scare off others, and partially because that's just who he is. Get past it, and he's kinda chill...but you'd still be walking on thin ice when it comes to his temper. Initially, he was very skilled with guns, but, after getting sick to death of Bijou, he's been trying to go for other things. Since an alternate's strengths and weaknesses are typically hardwired into them, it hasn't gone well. Currently, you can see a different style from him every other week. Obviously, his trust is not an easy thing to gain, and he's, usually, far from gullible.
Verde: The green G&W alternate. Knows a couple words in spanish. The most you can say about his personality is that he's docile, and kind of shy. He doesn't talk much and is perfectly content to stay in the background, out of sight. While he enjoys the company of others, he finds it difficult to talk to others sometimes, and gets quite flustered very easily around girls. He doesn't really know why, nor how to make it stop. But Master Hand knows he tries, since he's well-aware the behavior can make others uncomfortable. He tries to avoid fights, but, when he has to, he's usually just the support, using his smash attacks to play off of teammates if nothing else. Not much else is known...
Hallow: Black Link alt. Went without a name until he heard one of the Originals talk about Halloween, and chose take that. He was created at the same time as Blue, a Young Link alternate, thus making them, essentially, "brothers". Unfortunately, Blue disappeared a long time ago, and he's come to accept the fact that he's probably never coming back... He's the quiet sort, albeit very friendly and occasionally talkative if one actually bothers to try getting close to him. He trusts people easily, and can get attached rather fast...though he's been a little bit out of it ever since he lost his brother, and tends to be found zoning-out in the Hyrule Temple stage. He usually uses different types of bombs in his fighting, and tries to keep his distance from his opponents. Arrows work too, though he dislikes how plain they are, and how easy it is for him to just outright-miss. to be continued))
