I am hard to deal with.
Iām confusing and contradicting.
I am right and I am wrong,
sometimes I have to argue and over react just for me to get along
and get over it.
I need to be mad.

Iāll probably make you question why Iām even upset over the littlest things
but please understand that I just need to feel.

Iām an emotional tornado,
constantly swirling around
and random feelings come flying out.
Iām not under control.
I have no leash.
Iāve never been the greatest at talking things out and
sometimes I need you to be okay with me not wanting to speak.
just hold me.
I will apologize in the morning.
my head is all screwy and Iām not the greatest at holding it together,
please understand that Iām trying to get better.
I will probably text you that I need your help, Iāll probably ask you to save me countless times
from my bathroom floor and my razor blades,
please tell me Iāll be alright.
recovery is a treacherous path that Iām just learning to walk,
Iām learning to try every day
instead of trailing off.
the darkness calls my name
so vividly and loud.
but if you ever find me there,
Iāll telling you now to drag me out.
I wonāt do it myself.
Iām not easy to be with
because Iāve gotten used to being dependent
and though Iām trying to fix it,
I will probably still rely on you for things I shouldnāt
please remind me that Iām strong enough to do it on my own,
but donāt leave me alone.
