Responsibility and Time
I was watching a video about how people should have a good scientific temper and how they should train their mind to be more critical and analytical while handling information and understanding things around them. We all have our favourite sources of information and perspectives, and in this age where it seems information is at the tip of our fingers, are we not still in a bubble of information and content that we desire, rather than getting the whole picture. The 'algorithm' is set to cater to what we want and what would satiate our biases, is it not. Who among us takes the time to verify every bit of info coming our way, or at least even the information that is top priority to us. Do we even have the time to do that, in this short life where we struggle to survive and glean the most amount of happiness we can while navigating through the tides of sorrow. Most of us like me leave that job to the ones we trust to be keepers of the knowledge we acquire. But, I reckon we should audit these sources every now and then, cause we know nothing is infallible nor incorruptible.
