So I started following your ASOIAF femslash group, and I pm’d one of the members and they said this was where to go to submit stuff. I have a bunch of fics that mostly live on my blog, gotfemslash.wordpress.com, but i’m going to give you a couple of links to individual fics that have gotten a lot of love from people.
Golden Lion, Silver Trout - By far the most well-received fic I have written to date. It’s long (25,000-ish words), broken into 11 chapters. It is set in the ASOIAF universe, but I consider it an AU as it goes pretty far off from canon. Teenage Catelyn & teenage Cersei fall in love. Apart from being a love story, it’s also an exploration of how Cersei might have become a very different person if she had been less constrained by the expectations of her gender. The Ballad of Catelyn & Brienne- A pretty long fic (30,000 words) in 13 chapters. A real fairy tale love story about BrienneCat (my OTP, I won’t lie) which I wrote in frustration after finding basically nothing written about them. While it ends pretty far outside of canon, it does make an effort to resolve a lot of canonical plotlines in favor of this pairing. It lives on a separate blog, here: fandigitastic.wordpress.com
Nights in the North- A Yara (Asha)/Ygritte fic in four parts. This is sort of an extension of the AU created in the Brienne/Cat fic, as each chapter is bookended by BROTP stuff between Yara and Brienne, so that I can tell the story in Yara’s voice. It’s very NSFW, and as you might imagine, the sex is pretty hot and aggressive. hey, im shelby aka altarsex im 17, bisexual, and im starting my freshman year of college in the fall!!!!!! i'm cisgender (she/her/hers pronouns pls), and majorly into feminism.
i blog a lot of photography, fashion, poetry, etc and im also in a shit ton of fandoms (including asoiaf, orphan black, from dusk till dawn, teen wolf, the vampire diaries, star wars, and the walking dead). i tag everything!
im into margaery/sansa and open to a lot of other f/f ships. although i gotta say im extremely picky about cersei's characterization and i probs wont be shipping her with anyone other than jaime (other than that im down for anything tbh)
honestly, the lack of femslash not only in the asoiaf fandom but in almost every fandom pisses me off and says a lot to me about fans' attitudes towards women. it's important to write about women having healthy relationships with each other and it's important to represent queer women as well.
my fav asoiaf lady is cersei, but i have endless love for catelyn, arya, and sansa as well. cersei's helped me through some hard times. she's not exactly a great role model but she can endure pmuch anything and that's something i have some mad respect for
alright so confession time i've stopped watching game of thrones, although because i'm still in the fandom and i've read the books, i know what's going on with the show. i stopped watching after 4.03 bc there have been way too many instances of unnecessary sexualized violence and i just couldn't handle it anymore. not to mention d&d are slowly destroying everything i love abt my favorite characters
my triggers are rape, partner abuse, animal cruelty/death, and self harm
i can't even begin to list everything on my blacklist but rly the only important ones are jaime x brienne, petyr x sansa, and sandor x sansa

i mainly ship sansa and margaery like it's my job, and i'm open to many other pairings.
instead of listing everything i like let me make it short and write what i dont like: taylor swift, any one direction member, justin bieber, sterek, sansan, and jaime x brienne. i guess i'm pretty cool about anything else.

ah gosh hey, i'm ygraine and i'm seventeen, studying english lit, history, religious studies and psychology at sixth form. i'm cis (pronouns are she/hers), white and about as gay as you can get and i'm majorly into inclusive feminism.
one of the reasons i love asoiaf so much is the fact that it portrays a diverse range of female characters with different intentions, motivations, desires, behaviours, values etc. and it gives so much material for feminist critique (as does fan response to certain characters cough sansa stark haters cough). one of the many reasons that i'm bitterly disappointed with the show's development is the reliance on sexualisation and oversimplification of female characters because it really takes away from the overall narrative and grrm's construction of individual and complex characters imo.
also i'm firmly in the 'sansa, margaery, melisandre, daenerys and brienne are queer' camp and i ship sansa/margaery with literally every droplet of blood running through my veins

Hey! I'm Olivia - I'm 22, a graduate student, British. I'm cisgender, and attracted to men and women. I'm a huge defender of female characters, and especially those of asoiaf/game of thrones. Cersei is my bae because 'she wanted a storm to match her rage', but I also love the ladies of asoiaf in general. And I'm usually critical when the characterisation of a complex woman is reduced to being a stock trope (I'm looking at you, D&D and Moffat), so I sometimes rant/reblog other people's rants, because I think it's good to question shows and books we love, particularly if some parts are problematic.
I agree with Olive about Marg, whom I also think is canonically queer (Natalie Dormer seems to have picked up on hints from the books). My favourite ship is Margaery x Sansa, but I also really like Cersei x Taena.
My blog is multifandom, but most of what I reblog is asoiaf, history, literature, sherlock, mythology/legend, and a lot of period shows. I also tend to fawn over attractive people...
I like to make graphics and fanmixes on occasion! I'm up for writing fanfics, although my last one was about two years ago (oops). I'm looking forward to being apart of this network! x

In my eyes Margaery is pretty much canonically into girls in my eyes after that scene in 3x07. femslash is super important as is ladies in general (esp. the variety of ladies in asoiaf, all are so well written). i like sansa/margaery, brienne/catelyn, brienne/margaery, and im open to any others bc all forms of femslash are amazing.
