NEGATIVE THOUGHTS THAT I HAVE DAILY: “You aren’t good enough!” “You can’t do it!” “You’re stupid!” “See, told you you wouldn’t follow through!” “You’re selfish!” “Why are you even trying!?” “They don’t care!” “They aren’t listening!” And on and on and on… 1. Become aware of your negative thoughts. 2. Become curious about them and question them. - “Is this really true? - “Is it possible to change this?” - “Is this my belief or did someone say this to me and I accepted it as truth?” 3. Give yourself some grace. I don’t ever want to assume that I know what anyone is going through based off of MY life experiences. I don’t think that’s a productive approach. I do like the idea that OUR thoughts create our emotions though. If you are in a rut… If you are exhausted… If you are on the edge… I don’t have the answer for you, but I do believe that the answer can be revealed to you through inspecting your thoughts and removing the ones that don’t serve you, the ones that are lying to you and the ones that are holding you back.
