Ah shit. Harvey hid the bag behind him, good thing it was a paper bag or Finn would already know what was in it. “I was at the thrift shop…buying pants…and underwear.” Good job, that sounded very not-so-convincing. Why couldn’t he lie to Finn, dammit?!

He wanted it to be a surprise, he planned to set it on the kitchen counter right where Finn would see it when he woke up in the morning. “I need to go..lay down…yeah.” God dammit, pull yourself together and act convincing!

Thrift shop? Gross. Finn made a face before raising an eyebrow. “... riiiight, okay.” Nah, he didn’t believe Harvey. He wanted to figure out what was in the bag, dammit. It wasn’t fair that he was keeping it a secret.

Why was he keeping it a surprise? Was it a... “... is it a present?” That HAD to be the only explanation! The blond grinned, “It’s a present, isn’t it?” He started walking around the brunet, trying to look at the bag. “C’mon, tell me!”

Harvey slowly walked into the apartment, shutting the door very quietly hoping Finn wouldn’t notice. If he could just get to his room with the shopping bags Finn would never know what he bought. They weren’t married, Finn didn’t look at his bills and things. 

Harvey heard the tv on and started quietly walking down the hall..unfortunately, he wasn’t the most graceful man alive. He stumbled and knocked a few things over. “Shit.”

Well, Finn hadn’t noticed. Not until he heard the brunet knocking things to the ground. He stretched and yawned, before rising to his feet and quickly heading down the hall.

His eyes drifted down toward the bags in Harvey’s hands and he grinned. “... you went shopping? For what? What’s in the bags?” He reached out to grab one of Harvey’s hands. “Tell me! Is that why you didn’t come home until now?”

Sitting in the apartment on the couch was Finn, looking rather bored as he stared at the television screen. He had absolutely no interest in whatever show was currently playing, and his fingers were lightly tapping against the armrest. 

He sprawled across the couch and let out a rather dramatic sigh before closing his eyes. “This is so boring, I could cry. Seriously! I’m not even sure how many times I’ve watched Tiffany nearly claw Stacy’s eyes out for apparently sleeping with her ex-boyfriend.” The blond placed his hands across his torso and grumbled, slightly irritated.

He was starting to wonder when Harvey was going to be home.

It was another mislabel day for Hevvin being a butler to work for a prince he absolutely despised. He had always wanted to find a good opportunity to get rid of the little brat once and for all but unfortunately each time he tried he could never find a good opportunity and if he got caught he would be hanged faster then he could snap his fingers. Oh well its best for now he sucked it up and got back to work.

Today had been a drag. The young prince had been bored out of his skull since this morning because of the 'royal duties' he had to fulfill. Now, Finn was back in his room, the double doors wide open. He sat on the edge of his bed, lightly tapping his fingers against his leg as his oddly colored eyes glanced out the window. He had no idea that one of the workers despised him so badly and was out to kill him.

Hearing Hevvin's voice, he turned his head and grinned mischievously.

"Ah, so you do have ears!" He teased before clasping his hands together. "There are quite a few things that I need you to take care of for me."
