He was able to actually spend a lot of time with Asper today, watching her play and trying to keep her from knocking over a floor lamp. Or, more accurately, keep her from climbing on it.
"Asper, Asper honey no. No climbing that. That's not a safe thing to climb."

Asper just looks at him as if to say “I do what I want” and tries to climb on another thing
He sighed and grabbed her, holding her and twirling around.
"Yoouuuuu are a chaos gremlin."
He stopped and nuzzled her.
Asper giggles histarically “dada silly!”
He beamed, purring.
"I am! And so are you."
He's soooo gonna be riding this high for a while. Her first words!
Asper senses that this makes her dad happy, so she repeats “dada silly!”
He laughed lightly, gently swinging her
"So are you! We're both silly! Silly silly silly!"
Asper is laughing, wiggling around, and generally having a good time
