I hate how people write scaramouche in a modern school setting, I have no idea where they even got the notion he acts like that as well seeing how he never acted anywhere near close.
He isn’t a bully and he’d likely be in or close to the student council. He’s not one to cause any conflict unless it benefits him or the conflict involved him in the first place. He would not skip any classes nor would he make fun of anyone without being provoked and he’s likely a very quiet person naturally unless there’s something he wants to say. This “bad boy school bully scaramouche” is so alien to me. Not saying he isn’t teasing however. He still is.
I also think wanderer would be slightly more socially outgoing than scaramouche, it’s noticeable to everyone but no one brings it up.
On that topic like to say Lohen isn’t starting school fights but rather he’s in a boxing club with Childe. Lohen is smart enough to know the time and place for a fight, what’s acceptable and what isn’t. He might skip classes yes, i don’t believe he’d be some kind of crazy guy everyone is afraid of but just intimidating for people to talk to, he’s definitely the actual “class clown” character seeing how he likes to play pranks on others
I do feel like he’d get bored in class easily if it isn’t a subject he enjoys, he’s oddly good at biology and chemistry too,

Phoebe, Your Cheerful, Clumsy Childhood Friend.
She was hurting. It was hurting so bad that she couldn’t even face you without feeling like the worse person in the world for being hurt like this. She was happy that you joined the literature club, she really was. But seeing you have fun with the others, get closer with the boys, and enjoy yourself more than what you did with her, it really hurt. That’s why when she saw you outside your home, face to face with Zeke, she felt her heart break into a million pieces. She was about to run back home when Zeke did actually notice her, and jumped up in surprise, making you look at the direction he was looking at. That gave her no choice but to confront them head on. With her best effort, she flashes them a cheery smile, and waved. "H-Hi…"
"Phoebe! J-Just now…we weren’t…"
She watched with a slightly sad expression as you stammered and tried making excuses. Zeke, feeling very embarrassed all of a sudden, held his stuff together and smiled nervously. "I-I’m sorry, but I’m already on my way to leave."
Phoebe frowned sadly. "Aw really?"
"Yeah…but we’ll all be together at the festival, so…" he trailed off, not knowing when to stop his sentence or continue. But seeing Phoebe’s cheerful expression made him more nervous somehow. So after a quick goodbye, and reminding you about the banner, he quickly sped off, leaving both you and Phoebe alone. Just like a few hours before when you visited her in her room. Now that you two were alone, it made you realize that Phoebe was actually here. When you tried inviting her before, she immediately said no and insisted that you have fun with Zeke and to not worry about someone like her. So seeing her outside her room surprised you. "Phoebe, I thought you didn’t want to come over today." You pointed out, causing the girl to smile nervously and avert her gaze to the ground next to her. She nervously chuckled. "Well, I tried staying in my room…" her eyes darkened slightly. "But my imagination was being really mean to me. So I had to come here and see it for myself."
You were confused at her words. "See what? What are you talking about?"
Her smile grew wider, but it wasn't because she was happy. if anything, the more she remembered how much fun you were having with Zeke, more it made her want to cry. She already did once, she didn't want to do it again. Looking away, she spoke in a softer, more vulnerable tone. "You know, how much fun you were having with Zeke." She blinked rapidly. "And how close you got to him." She continued blinking as fast as she could, hoping the burning sensation of her tears will go away. But it didn't. Instead, they started appearing at the corners of her eyes, and a few droplets started dripping down her soft cheeks. "It makes...really happy..." her voice cracked in the end, but she couldn't help but continue talking. "That you've made such good friends. That's all that matters to me."
She means every word. All she ever wanted was to make you happy, to see you happy. And if it means that she won't be apart of it, she is okay with that. So why? Why are her tears running down her cheeks in a rapid motion now, the warm liquid making her cheeks feel sticky, and her eyes burning at the sensation from just spilling her happiness about you finally making friends. "That's all that matters to me!-" Phoebe croaked, and she held onto her pink shirt tightly, her knuckles turning white as she tried to control her rapid beating heart, and her flowing tears. "Why am I feeling this way? I'm supposed to be happy for you...!" Almost like a part of her was being controlled, she shouted with all the emotions that were bubbling inside her. "Why does it feel like my heart is splitting in half...?! It hurts so much..." She shook her head rapidly, her sparkling ginger hair bouncing from the movements while her fingers continued to grip onto her shirt for dear life. Only this time, she was clutching right where it hurt the most.
Her heart.
"Everything hurts so much..." She reached up with one hand and tried wiping away her tears. "This would be so much better if I could just disappear!"
You felt your heart drop at her declaration. Hearing your childhood friend, someone who always had a big smile on their face, express at their despair and actually wish to disappear hurt more than anything. You took a step closer, and gently grasped the hand that was holding her shirt. "Phoebe, don't say that!" You exclaimed, but she wasn't listening.
"It's true!" She shot back, instantly snatching her hand away from your grasp. Not because she didn't want to be touched by you, but because she was so scared that she would rely on your warmth too much to cope with her shitty problems. "if I wasn't here, then you wouldn't have to waste your sympathy on me!" Her tears started to overflow, and her voice grew higher at her feelings. "You wouldn't have to put up with me being selfish!" She aggressively wiped her eyes once more, and let out a shuddering hiccup. "Khol was right...I should just-"
You paused. From this entire conversation, you weren't expecting Khol's name to suddenly drop. "Khol...? Khol was right about what?"
Realizing that she said too much, she pressed her lips together and looked away from your prying gaze, her eyes still glossy from the tears. You knew that she wouldn't say any more than that, so you let out a small sigh, and reached over to hold her hand once more, your warmth creating this comforting cover that calmed her down slightly. "Phoebe, what I said before is true." You looked into her eyes, noticing the way her fluffy wavy hair framed her beautiful features. Your childhood friend, standing right in front of you and practically pouring her heart out at you. "I'm not going to let this continue. Caring about you like this isn't a burden your mind is making it out to be. It's something that makes me happy. It's something that I wouldn't trade for anything else." You paused, watching to see if she wanted to cut you off and say something. But she just continued to stare at you with those wet eyes, her orange eyelashes fluttering slightly and damp from her tears. Seeing her silence, you continued. "So, even if it takes an entire lifetime..." You shot her a reassuring smile. "I'm going to be by your side until you don't feel any more pain."
Phoebe trembled, her eyes widening as she processed your words. "B-But..." She looks away, your gaze now feeling like a heavy burden rather than the reassurance she needed. Did she actually want that? To answer her inner thoughts, you let go of her hand and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, making her slightly flinch and look back at you once more. She softly frowned. "I'm scared...I'm really scared..." She whimpered.
"What are you scared of, Phoebe?"
She looked at the ground, staring at her slippers with an expression that you weren't sure what to describe. "I'm scared that..." She trailed off, before continuing once more. "That I might like you more than you like me..."
Instantly, you froze, your reassuring hand fidgeting on her shoulder. "Phoebe...?"
Her eyes started watering again, and her lips wobbled. "it's true, isn't it?" her voice was now trembling, her throat starting to tighten and making it difficult to form words. "I was weak and started to like you too much...I did this to myself." Her feelings were too much, she couldn't keep bottling them up anymore. It was like shaking a soda can and opening it, only to be sprayed by its sugary liquid. She finally looked up, tears that were once running down her cheek, flowed like a waterfall, some droplets forming around her chin and dripping down to the pavement underneath her. "I...I like you so much that I want to die! That's how I feel! A-And...and...!" She could go on and on. She can pour her heart at how much you really mean to her, how she stayed up so many nights, terrified at the thought of you leaving her because of her being too weak. But before she could utter another word, you spoke, your tone taking on a more serious note. "That's enough Phoebe..." You frowned sympathetically. "I don't want you to hurt anymore." You gently slid your hand down to Phoebe's arm and squeezed her hand in your own, the feeling of her fingers trembling against your palm made your heart ache.
"Do you remember how I said I always know what's best for you?"
She didn't respond, but you still continued anyways. "Do you still believe me?"
She couldn't muster any words, so all she could do was silently nod. Seeing her quiet response, you sighed. "Even if you don't understand all of your feelings, I know what you need the most right now. And that's what I'm going to give to you." You squeezed her hand more firmly, and softly called her name, making sure to have her undivided attention.
At this moment, do you think she needs a friend?
Or her feelings to be recognized?
Do you truly know what she needs the most right now?

Zeke, Your Shy, Book-Loving Member.
He loves you so much that he just wants to tear your skin open and crawl inside you. A week of hiding his feelings, a week of feeling like he’s losing his mind about you, and a week of dealing with a certain club leader who is always somehow watching. Out of anybody that you wanted to help for the festival, you chose Khol? He has the easiest job, he can do it himself. But Zeke needs help. He needs your hands and your expertise in making this banner. Maybe you don’t have experience, but that’s okay! He doesn’t know why, but when you chose Khol, something inside him just snapped. His eyes, which used to look so soft and determined, just darkened, and his pupil dilated, almost making his eyes completely black.
"Zeke, you’re being unreasonable."
And that was the nail that hit the coffin. "I’m being unreasonable?" The audacity that he has was so laughable he can’t help but cackle. His grin was wide, his hands started trembling, and he ignored the horrified look from Julian while he focused his attention on Khol. His mind was just completely broken, he just couldn’t find a filter for it like he once did. "Khol, I can't believe how delusional and self-important you are! Pulling them away from me every single time you're not included in something..." As if it couldn't get any worse, his toothy grin turned wider, showing his open mouth while he hovered over to Khol. At the same time, his blonde wicks seemed to have a mind of its own, and suddenly moved on its own, like he was trying to intimate some aggressive snakes. "Are you jealous? Crazy? Or maybe you just hate yourself so much that you take it out on others?" Suddenly, his grin dropped, and he stared at Khol with wide, unblinking eyes. "Here's a suggestion. Have you considered killing yourself? It would be beneficial to your mental health." Zeke placed his hands behind his back, and never once removed eye contact from his former best friend. Julian furrowed his eyebrows together, and peeked over from Khol's shoulder, their lips pressed together in a nervous line as he stared at his club member with fear swirling in their eyes. "Zeke, you're scaring me a little..."
Khol just closed his eyes for a brief moment, and placed his arms at his side, his tone lowering into a more serious pitch. "Julian, lets just go. I don't think he wants us around right now." Seeing how easily Khol gave up, his wide, mad grin came back, and he let out a shuddering sigh of relief, his hair finally relaxing. "See, that wasn't very hard. All I want is to spend a little time with them. Is that so much to ask?" Without saying much, Khol turned around and held Julian by his shoulders as he started walking out to the door with him, with Zeke following after them. With a gentle smile, Khol turned around and called out to you one last time. "Hey. Zeke is really something, isn't he?" Khol giggled, but was abruptly caught off by Zeke shoving him out and slamming the doors shut behind them. He took a deep breath, and placed his hand on top of his chest, the feeling of his rapid beating heart drumming against his ribcage felt more exhilarating than overwhelming, making him smile softly to himself. "Finally..." He smiled wider, and swiftly turned around to look at you. "Finally!" He quickly walked back to you and gave you his signature, shy smile. The same one that used to give you butterflies. But now, it just filled you with fear. "This is really all I wanted..." His smile dropped, but it wasn't the emotionless one that he gave to Khol. It was more curious, more softer, like he's trying to convince you by looks alone. "There's no reason to spend the weekend with Khol. Don't listen to him." he took a step closer, and his smile returned. "Just come to my house instead! The whole day with just the two of us...doesn't that sound wonderful?"
Even just imagining it filled him with joy. Something that he wasn't used to at all. But all it did was make him laugh, his eyes widening as he held onto his uniform shirt tightly. "Wow..." he took in a shaky breath, and stared at the ceiling with wide eyes, his pupils rapidly moving to each corner, like he was trying to see if a certain someone was watching them. "There's really something wrong with me, isn't there...?" He looked back at you. "But you know what?" he grinned widely and started shaking. "I don't care anymore!"
Usually, he did. If he did something that slightly exposed himself, he would get embarrassed and stammer out an apology. He never wanted to bring too much attention to himself. But god, just you being there with him, just inhaling your scent is enough to drive him crazy. "I've never felt this good my whole life. Just being with you is a far greater pleasure than anything I could imagine..." he took a step closer, and grabbed your hand with such speed that it made you flinch and almost recoil in fear. But even if you wanted to, you couldn't. He was holding on for dear life, his grip almost crushing your fingers. "I'm addicted to you..." he brought your hand closer and placed them directly on his chest, making you feel his heartbeat that was beating far too fast. With how fast it was pumping, it answered your question at why Zeke was breathing so heavily that he was almost out of breath. "it feels like I'm going to die if I'm not breathing the same air as you." Almost like an instant transformation, his gaze softened, and his grip loosen slightly as he shyly looked away and started messing with one of his blonde locks with his fingers. "Doesn't it feel nice to have someone care about you so much...? To have someone who wants to revolve their entire life around you?" he was leaning so close to you that you could practically smell the scent of his shampoo, and the unmistakable smell of iron. "But if it feels so good..." he trailed off. "Then why does it feel more and more like something horrible is going to happen?" his grip on your hand tightened once more, his wide unblinking eyes staring off into space. "Maybe that's why I tried stopping myself at first..." He muttered to himself. "But the feeling is too strong now."
With a sudden burst of energy, his voice rose higher at volume, and he used both his hands to clasp your own together, his fingernails digging into your skin as he grinned down at you. "I don't care anymore, I have to tell you!"
"I'm...I'm madly in love with you! It feels like every inch of my body, every drop of blood in me, is screaming your name..." he giggled. "I don't care what the consequences are anymore! I don't care if Khol is listening!" At this point, his cheeks were burning hot, his legs were trembling at the adrenaline of finally confessing his love to you, and his heart, that was pounding rapidly, seemed to calm down after he finally said what was weighing at his chest. The thought of you spending time with Julian, the thought of you even speaking to Khol instead of him fills him with unimaginable rage. All he wanted to do was steal you away from the others, force you read books with him, and share chocolates on the classroom floor. You made him feel something that he never thought he could ever feel. All those years of being careful, all those years of hiding himself and drowning in books. And finally, finally he gets to feel like something other than some burden to the air. He can feel what it is like to love someone as wonderful as you. "Please, just know how much I love you. I love you so much that I even touch myself with the pen I stole from you."
His voice got deeper, and leaned close enough to mutter the next words right into your face. "I just want to pull your skin open and crawl inside of you."
He smiled softly. "I want you all to myself. And I will be only yours. Doesn't that sound perfect?"
Finally, he lets go of your hand, and backs away to stand in the middle of the class, his hands now being held together as he placed them close to his chest. "Tell me..." He smiled wider. "Tell me you want to be my lover. Do you accept my confession?"
No matter what you chose, deep down, you knew that it was all going to end the same. With his feelings being too overwhelming, and taking out a kitchen knife from his pocket.

Khol, Your (Self Aware) Smart, Popular Club President.
It felt unfair. It was unfair. Seeing you get along with the club members, visit their place, and eventually fall in love with one of them, it was all just so overwhelming and unfair. He loved you more than anything. But he’s special. He doesn’t love the version of you that is in the game, he loves the actual you. So he knew what was going to happen when Zeke shoved everyone, begging for some alone time with you. And just as he expected, he came back with Zeke dead on the floor, with a bloody knife clattered on the floor, and three stab wounds on his chest. Even seeing his close friend basically rotting on the ground, he just smiled politely and let out a soft chuckle. "Well, that’s a shame." He placed a hand on his hip, and a daunting realization struck him, making him look down at your game character. "Wait, were you here the entire weekend?"
When you didn't respond, he gave you a sympathetic frown. "Oh, jeez..." He placed a hand on his hip. "I didn't realize the script was broken that badly. I'm super sorry! it must have been pretty boring." He glanced over at Zeke's body, and then back at you, before shooting you his signature sweet smile. "I'll make it up to you, okay? Just gimme a sec." With a flick of his wrist, both Zeke's decaying body, and a sick Julian who had ran out earlier to vomit were both gone. Like they were never meant to be here in the first place, and were merely just some bugs that Khol graciously took away just for you. "I'm almost done. I just want to have a cupcake real quick!" With a chirp in his energy, he gracefully walked over to the tray filled with cupcakes, and lifted the tinfoil up, revealing the sweet treats. Carefully, he used his two fingers to grasp the cupcake, and took a bite from a small corner. The sweetness of the treat made Khol smile wider and let out a sigh through his nose. "Seriously, these are the best!" He ate a couple more bites till he felt that it was enough and placed the cupcake down. "I really just had to have one, since it's the last time I'll ever get the chance to." He finally turned to you with a wider smile. "You know, before they stop existing and everything." He walked closer to the screen, and tilted his head slightly, almost like he was trying to see the actual you. "But anyway, I really shouldn’t be making you wait any longer. Just bear with me, okay? This should only take a second."
Everything went dark, and there was nothing but the sound of the usual jingle when you open up the menu. You’re supposed to see your four favorite club members happily greeting you either with a smile or with a pout. But just like Phoebe, they were gone. Eventually, the darkness slightly lit up, when the familiar cheery voice called out. "Uh, can you hear me? Is it working?"
In an instant, the screen lit up, and there appeared Khol, who was smiling widely and locking his fingers together, with his chin resting on top of it. But something was wrong with his appearance in general. His silky, black hair that used to be in a ponytail, was now loose, and some strands of his hair was floating up and seemingly touching the ceiling. His face was ghostly pale, the rest of his body was dark underneath his uniform and looked rubbery, and his eyes. The same eyes that used to look calming and reassuring, were wide and unblinking. He grinned widely, showing off his yellow teeth. With the tilt of his head, his black strands of hair that were framing his face moved as well, almost covering his eyes. "Yay, there you are!" He repositioned his head, and slightly chuckled. "Hi again." He coos softly. "Welcome to the literature club. Of course, we already know each other, because we were in the same class last year, and…um…" He trailed off and started to look at the desk underneath him, his lips pressed together while he thought of what else to say. Eventually, he just softly chuckles. "You know, I guess we can just skip over that stuff at this point." His gaze darkened, and he slowly uncurled his fingers, placing his hands on top of the desk while his smile widened into a more calmer shift. Not the usual, sweet smiles that he would flash you whenever you were talking to him sometimes. "After all, I’m not even talking to that person anymore, am I? That 'you' in the game, whatever you want to call them…" He lifted a hand up and carefully pointed a finger directly at you. Not some stupid game character that made the other members fell in love with, but the actual you. The one who is behind that screen, that one barrier that is stopping him from actually seeing you. "I’m talking to you." He grinned.
When he thought about it a little more, he hummed and pulled his hand back, the one that was pointing at you, and used it to rest his cheek against his palm, his long loosened hair swaying slightly from his movements. "Now that I think about it, I don’t really know anything about the real you." He looked off at some direction, but somehow still keeping a close eye on you. "In fact, I don’t even know if you’re a boy or a girl…" He looked back at the screen, and smiled sweetly. "Well, I guess it doesn’t really matter—" then he paused, his smile faltering slightly as he made direct contact to, what he hopes is you, his body straightening up as he blinked slowly. "Wait, you do know I’m aware that this is all a game, right? Could it be possible that you didn’t know that?" He sighed and slouched his shoulders. "That doesn’t make much sense…I even told you right on the game’s download page, didn’t I?" not sensing a response, he let out a tiny giggle. "Man…if only you had paid a little more attention, this would have been a little bit less awkward, you know?" The many hints he left you, hoping in some way that he could get your attention, that he knows everything is happening, and seeing you get along with everyone was just so unfair. "Well, anyway…" He curled his fingers once more and placed them underneath his chin, and stared directly into your eyes. "Now that that’s out of the way, I guess I owe you an explanation."
He smiled softly. "About that whole thing with Zeke…"
"Well…I kind of started to mess with him, and I guess it just drove him to kill himself!" He couldn’t help but giggle, the audacity of it all was just too entertaining for Khol. "I’m sorry you had to see that, though. Also, the same thing happened with Phoebe…" Her name rolled off his tongue with ease. He hasn’t said her name in so long, it made him smile and tilt his head. "Gosh, it’s been a while since you’ve heard the name now, hasn’t it?" Straightening his body, he shot you a wide, almost innocent like smile, and spoke in a deeper tone, his wide eyes tracing every curve of the screen. "Yeah…it’s because she doesn’t exist anymore. Nobody does. I deleted their files."
It was almost terrifying that it was so easy to just go to their character file and click delete. It wasn’t even that hard to find, which made it almost laughable. "I was hoping it would be enough for me to just try to make them as unlikable as possible…but for some reason, nothing worked." He sighed. "Well, it’s true that I made a few mistakes here and there…since I’m not very good at making changes to the game. But no matter what I did…" His gaze lowered to his large hands, and his smile dropped, his strands of hair seemingly having a mind of its own as some started curling, making him look more intimating. "You just kept spending more and more time with them. You made them fall in love with you." When he remembered his conversation with Phoebe, he thought that his plan was a little good. After all, from the very beginning, her depression had been her biggest weakness, and the thought of you no longer finding her important in your life gave him the perfect opportunity to mess with her head. But even then, that didn’t work. "I thought making Phoebe more and more depressed would prevent her from confessing to you." He slightly pouted. "And amplifying Zeke’s obsessive personality backfired, too…it just made him force you not to spend time with anyone else."
"And the whole time, I barely even got to talk to you." He finally lifted his gaze at you. "What kind of cruel game is this…? Are all the other members just programmed to end up confessing to you, while I watch from the sidelines? It’s torture. Every…minute of it. And it’s not just jealousy. It’s more than that…" Suddenly, he got up from the seat that he was sitting on early, and circled around the desk to really look at you, his hands reaching out and grabbing onto the fake, characters hand. It’s not real, but at this moment, he can only pretend. He can only hope that your hand is soft, that it’s real, that it’s actually yours. "And I don’t blame you for not understanding. Because no matter how kind, and thoughtful, and considerate you are…" He smiled softly. "You’ll never be able to understand one thing…it’s the pain of knowing how alone I really am in this world." For once in this entire conversation, he looked at his surroundings.
An empty classroom, curtains drawn to show nothing but a void outside the windows, and a singular desk where he can just stare at you all day. "In this game. Knowing my friends don’t even have free will…and, worst of all, knowing that’s really out there, in your world, forever out of my reach…" His grip on your hand tightened, and he finally looked at you with a wide, but forced smile. "I’m trapped. But now you’re here. You’re real. And you’re wonderful. You’re all I need…that’s why I need you to be here with me forever. I’m sorry if it’s hard to understand."
He spoke with such a gentle, calm manner that he made each of his words sound normal. He made them sound so reassuring that you felt like you were going to be lulled to sleep. Somehow, he had a strange feeling that you didn't fully understand what he was saying, and he doesn't blame you. Oh, look at him already. He's learning about you so much, and he can't even see you. "I couldn't understand for a while, either. Why the world around me started to become more and more gray...more and more flat." he shifted his gaze to the side. "Even the most expressive poems felt empty to me." his gaze shifted back to you, and his smile returned. "It wasn't until you arrived that I truly understood. You probably saved my life, honey. I don't think I could have continued to live in this world if I hadn't met you. And as for the others..." He hummed in thought, his brain forcing him to remember everyone. Zeke, his quiet, compassionate best friend who tried to blend in. Phoebe, his cheerful, clumsy best friend who only wanted to make everyone happy. And Julian, his short temper, manga loving friend who only wanted to find a safe place from his dad. "How could I miss them? A group of autonomous personalities, designed only to fall in love with you? I tried everything I could to prevent them from doing so..."
"But it must be some kind of weird inevitability etched into this game. I felt really bad that you had to witness some nasty things. But I realized that you have the same perspective as I do...that it's all just some game. And I knew you would get over it."
Something in his eyes flickered, a small light that made his eyes look brighter than usual. With a wide, wobbly smile, some small strands of his hair curled upward, and formed into a few cute hearts that swarmed around him, making him look like a lovesick boy than some freakishly tall, skinny monster. "So, that being said...I have a confession to make." His cheeks turned into a more brighter color, and he carefully stared straight ahead, hoping that he was directly looking at you. Then carefully, he reached over and held the characters hand gently, his body leaning over the desk and forcing you to look at his features up more closely.
"I'm in love with you. You are truly the light in my world. When there's nothing else in this game for me, you're here to make me smile. Will you make me smile like this every day from now on? Will you go out with me...?"
You don't have a choice. If you were thinking of saying anything other than 'yes', then you must abandon those thoughts. You don't need anything else, you don't need to think about anyone else. You only need Khol.
Just Khol.

And Julian, Your Short-Statured, Tsundere Club Member
Even when things have been getting a little weird, your favorite, short tempered club member still stayed exactly the same. Well, sorta. When you tried spending time with Julian, Zeke would suddenly grab your arm and pull you away, insisting that he's fine and that he was just reading his manga in the corner, like he always did. When it was time to share poems, you went to Julian first, hoping to make up for the time that you lost. With a blank expression, he casually handed you back the poem, and spoke in a rather softer tone. Something you aren’t used to because of his sour attitude. "Well, it's not terrible. But it's pretty disappointing after your last one." He placed a hand on his hip, and looked away with a small frown. "Then again, if this one was as good as your last one, I would be completely pissed." Already used to his sour attitude and sharp tone, you shrugged and held your poem gently against you while you stood there. "Well, I guess I wanted to try something a little different this time." He finally turned his gaze back at you, and hummed in thought.
"Fair enough. You're still new to this, so I wouldn't expect you to find your style right away. I mean, everyone in the club writes really differently from each other...Maybe you'll find a little influence from all of us." his gaze slowly drifted to where Zeke was standing, his back currently turned to them as he shared his poem with Khol, their conversation being hushed and quiet. "For instance..." Refusing to make eye contact, he crossed his arms over his chest and spoke in a mumbled tone, like he didn't want you to hear him anymore, but still wanted to voice his problems. "I noticed that you were spending some time with Zeke today..." When he noticed you staring, he quickly backtracked. "Not that I care who you spend your time with." He pouted and huffed. "After all, I was taught never to expect anything from anybody." Then Julian remembered how stupid he felt for waiting for you. A manga in his hands, his body sitting on the ground as he watched with a solemn expression as Zeke dragged you away to read some stupid horror novel. "So it's not like I was waiting for you, or anything." He sighed and finally looked at you with a frown. "Still, you should at least look over my poem. You'll probably be able to learn something from it." He practically shoved the poem into your hands, and watched with a bigger frown as you raised your eyebrows in surprise.
As soon as you were done reading, he slowly uncrossed his arms, and like a flip was switched, he spoke in a more vulnerable, shaky tone. "Hey...why didn't you come read with me today...?"
His eyebrows furrowed together, and he started to dig his nails deep in his palms, like he was trying to stop himself from saying anymore, but his mouth just wouldn't close. "I was waiting for you. I was waiting for a long time. It was the only thing I had to look forward to today. Why did you ruin it...?" He took a step closer, and his sparkling eyes started getting dull. "Do you like Zeke more?" he tilted his head slightly. "I think you're better off not associating with him." With no response coming from you, Julian just grew more and more impatient and aggressive. Then out of nowhere, he smiled sweetly. But something about that smile seemed almost freakish and forced, like he was trying mask his words with a more softer intent. "Are you listening to me? Zeke is a sick freak. That should be obvious by now. So just play with me instead, okay...?"
The environment around him started to turn red and fuzzy. "You don't hate me, do you...? Do you hate me?" Slowly, every word that dripped out of his mouth, his face started disappearing and trembling, black pixels started forming where his eyes and mouth were, hiding his true expression and pain that he is feeling. And every time he spoke, his voice only got more more muffled and glitched. "Do you want to make me go home crying...? The club is the only place I feel safe." he hiccup, and started tearing up streaks of blood. "Don't ruin that for me. Don't ruin it...please..." Suddenly, he lunged forward and held onto your uniform tightly, his knuckles turning head as his head twitched violently to each side. "Just stop talking to Zeke. Play with me instead. It's all I have..."
"Play with me..."
"PLAY WITH ME!!!"

just thinking about sea god rafayel and moon goddess n!mc where they belong to different realms, devoted to their respective worlds. but each and every night, he sings for her and in return, she helps his ocean’s tides ebb and flow, showing him that she hears him, and she sees him. and she holds nothing but love for him.
they met before, eons ago, before humans and lemurians existed. and since that moment his ocean blue eyes fell upon her, he’s been enamored by her beauty. by the way she stands out in the dark night sky, always luring him in. always wishing to hold her hand, to remain at her side.
yes, the sea god will always yearn to be with his beloved moon goddess. the one he paints portraits of, the one who inspires him, the one who’s moonshine rests upon his scales, reflecting the most precious of colors. his heart will always belong to his moon.
but unfortunately, he will always be tethered to the goddess whose false sun shines below the sea’s depths. the one who sits by his side on a throne in his realm, bringing light and life for his people.
the one who he has formed an eternal bond with, and will for his entire immortal existence.
Something i feel in To Eat a God that's often overlooked in discussions about it is why the meta characters like Nulla and Septem revere us so much.
Because we are humans in the Upper Plane, we have the power to inflict change onto and instill meaning into the world through creation. Art. and that's not something all can do on their own (like the characters in the game), but we can, and it's a beautiful thing that should be revered.
like, that's TEAG's story at its core: Humans can make sad things. depressing things. Pretty things. inspiring things. We can delete things, build them back up. Revamp and reboot them. We can have our voices heard, we can put things onto Earth that were never imagined before.
TEAG is an anthem pushing you to use that very human power of yours and create.
IDK MAYBE IT'S OBVIOUS but i feel like people don't talk about it enough and i just love the message at the core of the game so, so much. I love TEAG.
You wake up in Linkon City one day as a side character
ladsguys X mc Xnon!mc F/m, f/f, ooc and not lore accurate maybe this is just a train of thoughts
Imagine you get isekai'd into the love and deepspace universe as an unrelevant side character. The night before it happens you go to sleep like you'd normally do, and then boom you wake up in random apartment next morning.
You'd figure out quickly that you're not the game mc because there's nothing hinting that you're a hunter and you don't have any familiar people in your contacts.
Of course you're disappointed at first because you get teleported to your favorite game but can't even enjoy the love interests? Bullshit. But you decide to stay away from mc and the five guys and just make most out of the situation. You're in Linkon. There's a lot of opportunities and it's not like you have anything else to do.
After some time you realize that you live in the same building as mc and Xavier, and despite your best efforts to stay away from her, she becomes your friend. You don't really know why she wants to be your friend so badly, because you're just a random new resident, but you kinda let it happen.
After becoming "friends" with her, she obviously introduces you to them one by one. And it's really weird because in your original universe you have consumed so much content about them that you already know everything.
You don't really expect that the guys care much about you, but you still start to see them in different locations even when you're alone. And it's kinda creepy because this is not supposed to happen, they're supposed to be here for mc.
You don't really understand why the guys and mc are so interested in you. Besides you really just want to be left alone. You're not used to so many people paying attention to you all at once. But it's not possible to pull away from them because the harder you try the more they pull you in.
Just imagine sitting in a cafe alone and you spot mc and Caleb. They're both all smiles and sunshines as they sit on each side of you, maybe little too close. Mc's palm slip on your thigh while Caleb leans closer, asking questions with his stupidly charming voice.
Or when you're with Rafayel and mc at her place because she wanted a sleepover and you wake up between their warm bodies pressing against you while a dark crow stares you from outside.
Maybe you're enjoying a warm day at the beach, basking in the sun when suddenly mc and Zayne are towering over you. They join you pretty much without asking and after a while Zayne mumbles something about protecting yourself from the Sun. She nods and suddenly both of them are spreading the cream on your limbs. Is this what friends do?
One day while you sit in your apartment alone, you lowkey just realize how insane it it. Like the game lore is not supposed to go this way, right? Why does it feel like you have six possessive dogs following you around the city, trying to get a piece of you? You're in the middle of an existential crisis when someone knocks on the door and you're forced to get up. All of them stand there, smiling eagerly.
This is really messy and bad I just want all of them to be little crazy about nonmc😔😔if anyone has ideas how i should continue pls lmk
so when in the helly am i gonna see someone write fanfiction about the DMC x PGR collab with like Dante or Vergil x Commandant/Reader or am i gonna have to do this shi myself???
