The enemy was trying to use mind control on Athrun. However, the enemy despises/has a phobia of women. So, Athrun thought of Cagalli in a suggestive manner which obviously messed with his opponent.

The little smirk at the end tho ;)

Expectations are not that high

Kinder expected athrun to be fulfulling a role in the orb military or something ( to be closer to cagalli ) but I guess not after everything that has been shown so far in the second trailer and the new movie posters. But who knows athrun could maybe be apart of orb military and somehow he ends up going undercover as a undercover agent for the orb military or possibly even for newly formed organisation "compass" later in the movie ???

I'm getting the feeling that athrun could be going through the whole "sasuke route" with the long dark jacket and shades look. Protecting orb and cagalli from the shadows ( kira going through the naruto route, protecting the world and lacus from the light ). So much for the orb commander 🤷‍♀️

Although expectations are not that high, am still hoping for some asucaga development story like kira and lacus ( some kind of seed mode connection between athrun and cagalli ). But chances of that happening will never happen. Just be another traditional romance buildup ( knowing that the kiss scene in gsd has been changed a few times to a simple peck on the cheek )

Randomly came across this on youtube and watched the whole show. The collection gave off the kingdom of the wicked vibes with the collection revolving around dark astrology and mysticism ( snakes, third eye, moody and light tone colours ). The last pic and the blue and lilac dress especially reminded me of emilia as the queen of the wicked in more sophicated black and gold gown and as a moon goddess in lilac.

KOTF Speculation

Emilia could be the Woman of the Apocalypse BUT in a different way...

Aside from what was depicted in the bible or myth, the WOTA has associations with the moon and the devil. The WOTA is also seen wearing a crown of twelve stars like the statue in chapter nineteen. Which makes me think that emilia could be the woman of the apocalypse but in a less religous context.
