starting afresh.
hello, anyone reading!
i’ll get right to the point: i don’t like my online presence. salty-kumiru, assclassrarepairs, even akihito_kanburrito — none of these accounts feel like me.
i’ve changed a lot recently, and i’ve become a more serious person. obviously, i still love to joke around, like i do with friends, but less so. i’ve grown to hate posting light-hearted, jokey things when that’s simply not the content i feel like posting. god, i sound like i belong on myspace, jesus christ.
moving on.
i therefore want to start a new blog, a new ao3. i may or may not delete this blog or my current ao3, but i do want to start a new one.
really, i just feel like i’m not getting my real personality across. the real world just isn’t a place where i can freely share my creativity, which is why i come online. however, the internet doesn’t feel like my creative place either, but i know that it could be, if i just used it properly.
so, sometime before the new year, i will start up new accounts, both on tumblr and on ao3. once i’ve started them, i’ll come back to this post and link to both of the accounts.
if anyone is willing to offer any advice to me about starting fresh then i’d be more than grateful. thank you so much to many of my mutuals for the fun and for the experience you’ve given me over the year that i’ve been writing and sharing my content with my fandoms. you’ve all done a lot for me and i can’t thank you enough. mainly because i’m british and it’s what we do.
