Again you find yourself feeling strangely embarrassed for yourself. It sounds so weird explaining it like that, but you hope he'll be cool with the idea. You're pretty sure he'll be fine, and if it makes him antsy he'll pretty much have the whole forest to run around in, as long as he's careful.

You peer over at where he's making the sandwiches, and can't help but smile at how small the knife looks in his hand. "Yeah, that's it! I'm glad you like it." You help him finish up before putting your dorky (but kind of adorable) lunch in a plastic container, and then in your bag.

You hoist the bag over one shoulder and look around, checking for anything else that needs doing before you leave. You turn the tv off and grab your keys, but pause at the door.

"Have you ever been in a car before, Gamzee?" You worry your bottom lip between your teeth, unable to help imagining what it would be like having to deal with a poor carsick alien boy. Taking the subway isn't really an option.
